Definitions
- the invention relates to a pivoting / turning window according to the preamble of claim 1.
- pivoting / turning windows are for example from the DE 37 19 169 A1 known.
- the sash or the sash frame of the known pivoting / turning window is pivotably articulated on the frame.
- the axis of rotation about which the wing can be pivoted is preferably, but not necessarily, approximately in the middle of the vertically extending profile spars. Alternatively, it can also lie in the horizontally extending profile spars. Due to this arrangement of the axis of rotation X, the sash is initially moved partly outwards (e.g. in the lower area) and partly outwards (e.g. in the lower area inwards) and not essentially completely outwards or inwards, as is the case with a rotary / Tilt window is the case.
- Such a window is called a pivoting / turning window.
- a pivoting / turning window of the generic type with a circular frame and sash is from the DE 42 04 363 A1 known. With this window, the thermal insulation is not optimal.
- the invention therefore has the task of providing an improved solution to the problem of designing the rebate space between the frame and the casement tight with the simplest possible structural means and of creating a well-insulated pivoting / turning window.
- the interchangeable profile is also advantageously designed as a composite profile with good thermal insulation.
- the profiles in particular the base profiles and / or the interchangeable profiles, can in particular consist of metal and / or plastic and / or wood. Composite profiles made from several of these materials can also be used.
- the sealing profiles are designed as hose seals in the end area, which ensures a good thermal insulation and sealing effect,
- a pivoting / turning window has an axis of rotation which is perpendicular to two mutually parallel profiles of the sash, preferably in the middle area thereof, the changing profile has a joint area in the area of this axis of rotation.
- the arrangement of the interchangeable profile on the frame and on the sash changes in the area of the rotating or swiveling axis.
- the two sides facing away from one another perpendicular to the axis of rotation are also referred to in a simplified manner with “on one side of the axis of rotation” and “on the other side of the axis of rotation”.
- a pivoting / turning window with a horizontal axis of rotation this is on the one hand the area vertically above and on the other hand the area vertically below the horizontal axis of rotation.
- this is the area to the left or right and the corresponding area to the right or left of the axis of rotation.
- the axis of rotation can advantageously, but does not necessarily have to be, arranged centrally on the profiles in their main longitudinal direction.
- sealing abutment area or areas with at least one or more "dynamic” and at least one or more "static” sealing area sections is that the corresponding sealing profiles, preferably center sealing profiles, run all the way around between the frame and the sash frame be designed the same in partial areas of their cross-section and can be mounted all the way around. All that is required is to mount the interchangeable profile below and above the axis of rotation, once on the casement and once on the frame. Nevertheless, a sealing effect which is suitable for dynamically variable forces and which has variable forces (due to wind and the like) perpendicular to the window plane in the rebate is readily available.
- the invention can advantageously be implemented in a simple and advantageous manner in that the first sealing area section is used for sealing under the action of a statically constant force on one side of the axis of rotation and for sealing under the effect of dynamically variable forces on the other side of the axis of rotation. It is further preferred that the second sealing area section is designed in the area in which the first sealing area section acts for sealing under the action of a constant force, for sealing under the action of dynamically variable forces and that the second sealing area section is designed in the area in which the The first sealing area section is used for sealing under the action of dynamically variable forces, is designed for sealing under the action of statically constant forces or is used and used in each case.
- a plurality of sealing contact areas are preferably provided on the pivoting pivot window in the rebate area. Of these, one is preferably towards the inside of the window and one towards the outside of the window. One of the sealing contact areas is preferably located between them in the manner of a central seal. One, two or all of these sealing abutment areas can also be designed in such a way that they each consist of two sealing area sections, one of which is located on one side of the axis of rotation in the rebate space and is used as a dynamic seal and the other in this area as a purely static seal between the interchangeable profile and the profile to which the interchangeable profile is attached.
- a pivoting / turning window is created in such a way that it has a very simple and particularly clear structural design, which is correspondingly easy to assemble and which in a simple manner makes it possible to form one or more sealing areas in the rebate space.
- a center seal arrangement on a pivoting / turning window that also meets increased requirements for watertightness against driving rain, in particular also in the area of the axis of rotation or the joint area between abutting alternating profiles.
- the result is very good airtightness, again in particular in the area of the axis of rotation. It should also be mentioned the good sound insulation of the entire element that can be achieved through several sealing areas in the rebate area of the pivoting / turning window.
- the center seal is preferably made of a foam material, in particular of EPDM (foam rubber).
- the pivoting / turning window shown has a circumferentially closed frame 1 and a sash 2 with a circumferential closed sash frame 3 which surrounds a surface element, in particular an insulating glass pane 4.
- the insulating glass pane 4 defines a plane E, which in the following is also referred to in simplified form as the window plane.
- the frame 1 and the casement 3 are each formed as a rectangular frame from profile spars 5, 6, 7 and 8 or 9, 10, 11 and 12, which are connected to each other in corner areas (e.g. in joint areas with corner connectors not shown here) with two each the profile bars 5, 7 and 9, 11, preferably vertical and two of the profile bars 6, 8 or 10, 12 are aligned horizontally and each parallel to one another.
- the sash 2 or the sash frame 3 is pivotably articulated on the frame 1.
- the axis of rotation X, about which the wing 2 can be pivoted, lies exactly or close to the center of the vertically extending profile spars 5, 7 or 9, 11.
- the axis of rotation X, about which the wing 2 can be pivoted alternatively also lie in the middle or close to the middle of the horizontally extending profile spars (not shown here, all of the following explanations relate analogously to such a window, which is basically simply made by tilting the arrangement Fig. 1 can be formed at the installation site by 90 ° to the left or right).
- a circumferential rebate space 13 is formed between the frame 1 and the sash 2 (see Figure 1b and 1c ).
- a handle 14 is preferably used for opening and closing ( Fig. 1 ), with which one or more locking elements (not shown here) between the wing 2 and the frame 1 can be released in order to unlock the wing 2.
- the wing 2 can then be pivoted about the axis of rotation X with the handle 14.
- the wing 2 Due to the central arrangement of the axis of rotation X, the wing 2 is moved partially inwards (preferably in its area above the axis of rotation) and partially outwards (preferably in its area below the axis of rotation) when opening and not as a whole outwards or inwards, as is the case is the case, for example, with a turn / tilt window. Because of these properties, the window is referred to as a pivoting / turning window. Purely by way of example, with regard to the possible design of a pivoting / pivoting window and an insertable fitting for a pivoting / pivoting window on the DE 37 19 169 A1 referenced.
- a particular problem with the design of a pivoting / turning window is that the rebate area 13 (see Figure 1b ) and 1c )) between the frame 1 and the sash frame 2 with the simplest possible structural means to design sufficiently tight, so that it withstands driving rain when the sash 2 is closed and does not allow any or only a negligible flow of air.
- the invention fulfills this functionality in a particularly simple manner.
- the structure of the frame and the sash frame 1, 3 will first be explained in more detail.
- Both the frame 1 and the sash frame 3 each have a base profile 15, 16 here.
- These circumferentially provided base profiles 15, 16 are preferably each designed as composite profiles or consist of only one material.
- These composite profiles preferably have two or more individual profiles. They preferably each preferably have inner and outer metal profiles 17, 18 or 19, 20, which are connected to one another via at least one insulating strip made of one or more insulating profiles 21, 22 or 23, 24.
- the inner and outer metal profiles 17, 18 and 19, 20 can each be provided with at least one or more hollow chambers.
- the base profile 15 of the casement 3 is preferably completed by a glass retaining bead (not to be further described here) and seals on the insulating glass pane.
- the interchangeable profile 25 is advantageously designed as a (good) thermally insulating composite profile.
- this composite profile has a metal profile 26 (towards the inside of the room) and a plastic profile 27 attached to it towards the outside.
- the metal profile 26 and / or the plastic profile 27 are each provided here with one or more hollow chambers 29, 30.
- the plastic profile 27 acts (also) as an insulating profile.
- the cross section of the interchangeable profile 25 is from the inside (in Figure 1b below) outwards (in Figure 1b above) here in several stages narrower in sections. It does not extend to the outside but ends advantageously below the outer plane of the base profiles 15, 16. This simplifies the sealing of the construction and improves the external appearance.
- the metal profile 26 can also be used all around.
- the change profile 25 at the pivoting / turning window Fig. 1a is attached to the base profile 16 of the sash 3 above the axis of rotation (or above the plane extending through the axis of rotation X perpendicular to the plane of the sash) and below the axis of rotation X to the base profile 15 of the window frame 1.
- the fastening is carried out using suitable fasteners , here with screws 30, which preferably extend parallel to the plane of the sash and which preferably engage in the hollow chambers of the interchangeable profile 25 and - depending on the location above or below the axis of rotation X - of the base profile of the sash or window frame 3, 1.
- a first of these sealing arrangements - an outer sealing arrangement I towards the outside of the window - is on the outer area in the closed state between the interchangeable profile 25 and the casement 3 (above the axis of rotation X) or in the outer area between the interchangeable profile 25 and in the closed state the frame 1 (below the axis of rotation X).
- grooves 31, 32 are formed all around the frame on webs 33, 34 of the frame or sash frame 1, 3, in which above the axis of rotation X on the frame 3 and below the axis of rotation X on the sash frame Sealing profile 35, 36 is used, which seals the gap or rebate space 13 between the frame 1 (above the axis of rotation X) and the interchangeable profile 25 or between the sash 3 and the interchangeable profile 25 (below the axis of rotation X).
- a flexible web 37 is also formed on the outside, which has a foot region 38 which, on both sides of the axis of rotation X, preferably latches into the other groove on the web of that base profile on the frame or casement frame 1 , 3 engages, to which the interchangeable profile 25 is attached.
- a secure and visually appealing system of the interchangeable profile 25 is created in this area on the profile (of the sash or the window frame) to which it is fixed.
- a force acts perpendicular to the window plane E in the first sealing area I in the window gap, so that this first sealing area is to be regarded as a sealing area with the ability to seal under the action of dynamic, ie changing forces acting on it (caused by wind and the like).
- the interchangeable profile 25 can again be used advantageously.
- two grooves 39, 40 are preferably formed on webs 41, 42 of the interchangeable profile that point away from one another and are parallel to the window plane on the inside I of the interchangeable profile.
- a sealing profile 43, 44 is inserted into each of these grooves.
- one of the sealing profiles 43 serves as a contact seal for sealing under the action of dynamically variable forces between the interchangeable profile 25 and the frame profile 1 in the rebate space 13 (above the axis of rotation X) and the other of these two sealing profiles 44 serves as a seal (not in the rebate space 13 but within the sash) under the action of a static constant force and as a privacy screen to cover the gap between the interchangeable profile 25 and the base profile 15 of the sash profile 3 to which it is screwed.
- the other of the sealing profiles 44 serves as a system seal for sealing even under the action of dynamic forces between the interchangeable profile 25 and the sash profile 3 in the rebate area 13 and the other of these two sealing profiles 43 serves as a static seal and as a privacy screen
- this sealing contact area is also to be viewed in sections as a sealing area for sealing even under the action of dynamic or alternating forces (caused by wind and the like) and in sections as a static seal for sealing a rigid, unchanged gap between the interchangeable profile 25 and the frame or the profiles (casement 3 or frame 1) to which the interchangeable profile is screwed.
- first and the second sealing contact area I, II there is a (further) sealing contact area III, III 'between "outside” and “inside” and there between the first and the second sealing contact area I, II (or I, II ') is formed, preferably circumferentially in the window gap, but above and below the axis of rotation X in each case between different elements of the pivoting / turning window.
- the third sealing area III, III ' is characterized both by a static sealing area section suitable for sealing under the influence of a constantly acting force in the sealing area section and a dynamic sealing area section under the influence of changing forces that act on this sealing area section. This is explained in more detail below by way of example.
- the interchangeable profile 25, in particular its plastic profile 27, has two contact areas 45, 46 for center sealing profiles 47, 48 of the sash and window frame 3, 1 between the sealing contact areas I and II ( Figure 1b ).
- These center sealing profiles 47, 48 of the casement 3 on the one hand and of the window frame 1 on the other hand each extend in the rebate space 13 essentially parallel to the window plane E.
- the sealing profiles 47, 48 can be designed as hose seals in the end area (which ensures a good thermal insulation and sealing effect) and can have one or more hollow chambers (which optimizes the thermal insulation) and preferably consist of an elastic sealing material.
- the overlap Center sealing profiles 47, 48 of the window frame 1 and the sash frame 3 each with the interchangeable profile 25, in particular with its plastic profile 27, in a direction parallel to the window plane. In these areas, they also lie against the change profile 25 in a sealing manner.
- the center seal profiles are preferably each provided with a foot, which is each fixed in a corresponding groove in a base profile 15, 16 of the frame or sash
- the abutment area 45 lies once in the rebate space 13 between the interchangeable profile 25 and the central sealing profile 47 of the frame 1 and below the axis of rotation the abutment area 46 in the rebate 13 between the interchangeable profile 25 and the central sealing profile 48 of the sash 3, with one Dynamically changing with the acting influences (wind and the like. Closing force) acting perpendicular to the window plane in the respective contact areas in the rebate 13 acts or can act. In this way, a sealing area section is formed in each case for sealing under the action of dynamically variable forces in the rebate space 13.
- the other contact area 46 (above the axis of rotation X between the center seal profile 48 of the sash and the interchangeable profile 25 and the contact area 45 below the axis of rotation X between the center seal profile 47 of the frame 1 and the interchangeable profile 25 is then a contact area or a sealing area section with a Sealing effect only under the influence of a purely static constant force, which does not contribute to the sealing effect in the rebate area 13.
- the change profile 25 is - as already explained after Fig. 1 above and below the axis of rotation X once on the casement 2 (perpendicular to the axis of rotation above the axis of rotation) and once attached to the frame 1 (below the axis of rotation X).
- the contours of the change profiles 25 above and below the joint area 49 are directly adjacent to one another.
- This sealing tape is preferably attached in a non-detachable manner to one of the two interchangeable profiles, so that it protrudes with half its width over the joint area, which it then covers in the closed state. It is conceivable to also provide such a sealing tape 50 on the outside (not shown here).
- a pivoting / turning window is created in such a way that it has an impressively simple and clear structural design, which is correspondingly easy to assemble and which in a simple manner creates the possibility of sealing contact areas with dynamic sealing area sections in the rebate area 13 and also static sealing area sections between the Change profile 25 and each of the profile to which it is attached to form.
- the center seal profiles 47, 48 can be constructed completely identically. However, it is also conceivable to tie them out identically only in sections and to provide one or more detachable areas 51, 52 on them. One of these areas preferably has a hollow chamber 53.
- the one or more detachable regions 51, 52 can fulfill one or more different functions.
- One of the areas 51 can thus serve to reduce the rebate space 13 or gap in order to further reduce the convection between the inside and the outside.
- This detachable area 51 (see Fig. 3a, b, c ) is then separated from the frame (frame or casement frame 1, 3) to which the interchangeable profile 25 is attached. This means that the solvable area in the in Fig. 1 window shown above the axis of rotation on the sash 3 removed becomes ( Figure 3c ), while it is left there on the frame 1 ( Figure 3b ). This arrangement is reversed below the axis of rotation.
- the detachable area can be created by making cuts in the center seal profile.

The invention therefore has the task of providing an improved solution to the problem of designing the rebate space between the frame and the casement tight with the simplest possible structural means and of creating a well-insulated pivoting / turning window.
The invention solves this problem with the subject matter of
The interchangeable profile is also advantageously designed as a composite profile with good thermal insulation.
The profiles, in particular the base profiles and / or the interchangeable profiles, can in particular consist of metal and / or plastic and / or wood. Composite profiles made from several of these materials can also be used.
The sealing profiles are designed as hose seals in the end area, which ensures a good thermal insulation and sealing effect,
Since a pivoting / turning window has an axis of rotation which is perpendicular to two mutually parallel profiles of the sash, preferably in the middle area thereof, the changing profile has a joint area in the area of this axis of rotation. The arrangement of the interchangeable profile on the frame and on the sash changes in the area of the rotating or swiveling axis. In this document, the two sides facing away from one another perpendicular to the axis of rotation are also referred to in a simplified manner with “on one side of the axis of rotation” and “on the other side of the axis of rotation”. In the case of a pivoting / turning window with a horizontal axis of rotation, this is on the one hand the area vertically above and on the other hand the area vertically below the horizontal axis of rotation. In the case of a pivoting / turning window with a vertical axis of rotation, on the other hand, this is the area to the left or right and the corresponding area to the right or left of the axis of rotation. The axis of rotation can advantageously, but does not necessarily have to be, arranged centrally on the profiles in their main longitudinal direction.
What is particularly advantageous about this initially surprising design of the sealing abutment area or areas with at least one or more "dynamic" and at least one or more "static" sealing area sections is that the corresponding sealing profiles, preferably center sealing profiles, run all the way around between the frame and the sash frame be designed the same in partial areas of their cross-section and can be mounted all the way around.
The invention can advantageously be implemented in a simple and advantageous manner in that the first sealing area section is used for sealing under the action of a statically constant force on one side of the axis of rotation and for sealing under the effect of dynamically variable forces on the other side of the axis of rotation.
A plurality of sealing contact areas are preferably provided on the pivoting pivot window in the rebate area.
Overall, a pivoting / turning window is created in such a way that it has a very simple and particularly clear structural design, which is correspondingly easy to assemble and which in a simple manner makes it possible to form one or more sealing areas in the rebate space.
According to the invention, it is particularly possible in a simple manner to form a center seal arrangement on a pivoting / turning window that also meets increased requirements for watertightness against driving rain, in particular also in the area of the axis of rotation or the joint area between abutting alternating profiles. In addition, the result is very good airtightness, again in particular in the area of the axis of rotation. It should also be mentioned the good sound insulation of the entire element that can be achieved through several sealing areas in the rebate area of the pivoting / turning window.
The center seal is preferably made of a foam material, in particular of EPDM (foam rubber).
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind den Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.Advantageous refinements can be found in the subclaims.

The

For this purpose,
A force acts perpendicular to the window plane E in the first sealing area I in the window gap, so that this first sealing area is to be regarded as a sealing area with the ability to seal under the action of dynamic, ie changing forces acting on it (caused by wind and the like). .

In the sealing contact area II, too, changing forces FII act perpendicular to the window plane E in the sealing contact area II in the window gap. Therefore, this sealing contact area is also to be viewed in sections as a sealing area for sealing even under the action of dynamic or alternating forces (caused by wind and the like) and in sections as a static seal for sealing a rigid, unchanged gap between the
Preferably in addition to the first and the second sealing contact area I, II there is a (further) sealing contact area III, III 'between "outside" and "inside" and there between the first and the second sealing contact area I, II (or I, II ') is formed, preferably circumferentially in the window gap, but above and below the axis of rotation X in each case between different elements of the pivoting / turning window.
Also or in particular the third sealing area III, III 'is characterized both by a static sealing area section suitable for sealing under the influence of a constantly acting force in the sealing area section and a dynamic sealing area section under the influence of changing forces that act on this sealing area section. This is explained in more detail below by way of example.
Above and below the axis of rotation X, the
The other contact area 46 (above the axis of rotation X between the
Dennoch stellt sich ohne Weiteres eine dynamische Dichtwirkung mit einer Anlagekraft senkrecht zur Fensterebene E im Falzraum 13 einWhat is particularly advantageous about this initially surprising design with a "dynamic" and a "static" center seal area is that the center seal profiles between the

Overall, a pivoting / turning window is created in such a way that it has an impressively simple and clear structural design, which is correspondingly easy to assemble and which in a simple manner creates the possibility of sealing contact areas with dynamic sealing area sections in the
It should be noted again that terms such as "above" and "below" in the description in the case of a pivoting / turning window with a vertical axis of rotation can be replaced or replaced by "left" and "right".
The center seal profiles 47, 48 can be constructed completely identically. However, it is also conceivable to tie them out identically only in sections and to provide one or more
