Definitions
- the present invention relates to a floor stair unit, a floor or ceiling construction with a floor stair unit and a method of forming a floor or ceiling construction with a floor stair unit.
- Floor stair units are usually installed in the ceiling openings of a residential unit and connect a residential floor of a house with an overlying loft, a flat roof as an exit or an underlying cellar.
- Such floor staircases are known for example from the company Dolle.
- the floor staircase unit comprises a hatch box with at least one hinged lid which closes the hatch box from below and thus forms part of the ceiling of the floor below. On the cover then an extendable or foldable ladder or stairs is usually attached.
- Such floor stair units form a space-saving construction for connecting two floors.
- a stairwell as is the case for example with a spiral staircase or a staircase with a staircase, is not necessary when using floor stair units.
- the ladder can be easily unfolded or extended. If the ladder is no longer needed, it is retracted or folded and stowed in the hatch box.
- the attic unit usually connects an inhabited area of the house, in which room temperature generally prevails, with an uninhabited area of the house, which in most cases is not heated and in which, in the cold season, temperatures well below that Room temperature are present. Due to the temperature gradient between the inhabited area and the uninhabited area, condensation water may form in the area of the hatch box of the attic staircase unit.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a floor stair unit for mounting in a floor or ceiling opening of a building wall, which prevents or at least inhibits water vapor diffusion in the hatch box and also provides thermal insulation between the two floors, as well as provide a practical as possible method for forming a floor or ceiling construction with the floor stair unit.
- the floor-step unit for installation in a floor or ceiling opening comprises a hatch box which has four side walls, each having an inside and an outside, wherein a cavity is defined between the inside sides.
- the floor staircase unit includes a lid secured to the hatch box and pivotable between a closed position covering the cavity and an open position exposing the cavity.
- the bottom staircase unit comprises a walk-on climbing aid fastened to the lid, and an elastic insulating unit comprising a compressible soft foam and a film circulating around the outside of the side walls of the hatch box, the film at least partially surrounding the flexible foam , and wherein the flexible foam is attached directly or indirectly to the hatch box, preferably directly or indirectly fixedly connected to the hatch box.
- This embodiment of the floor staircase unit ensures that there is thermal insulation between two floors and that water vapor diffusion in the area of the floor stair unit is prevented or inhibited in a simple manner.
- a staircase unit is particularly easy to install.
- the flexible foam is attached to the hatch box with an adhesive layer.
- the soft foam will fall off the hatch box or prevent it from slipping.
- the film may also preferably be fastened to the hatch box with an adhesive layer.
- the flexible foam is substantially completely expanded in a provision state of the bottom staircase unit.
- the soft foam can thus be easily compressed when inserted into the floor or ceiling opening and nestle after installation to the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening.
- the flexible foam is surrounded at least at one of its projecting from the hatch box side surfaces with the film.
- the film when installed, reduces or eliminates water vapor diffusion and the two floors are sealed off from each other in an excellent manner.
- the flexible foam is completely enclosed by the combination of film and hatch box. In this way, the soft foam is protected from all sides.
- the film preferably has a first foil flank and a second foil flank, the first and the second foil flank being fastened to the hatch box.
- the foil flanks create a secure connection of the foil to the hatch box.
- first and second foil flanks protrude laterally from the soft foam on opposite sides of the flexible foam. As a result, a larger contact surface of the elastic insulating unit is ensured at the hatch box.
- first and the second foil flank may be folded over onto the side of the soft foam facing the hatch box. This allows a space-saving attachment of the film to the hatch box.
- the adhesive layer is preferably designed as a double-sided adhesive tape.
- the film is arrested at least with the side of the flexible foam facing away from the hatch box. In this way, the film is tightened in this area and does not wrinkle, which optimizes the sliding properties during insertion.
- the floor stair unit is inserted into the floor or ceiling opening such that the flexible foam is at least partially in a space between the hatch box and the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening in an at least partially compressed state is arranged and the film spans the space between the hatch box and the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening.
- the soft foam ensures due to its inherent expansion effort in the installed state for safe investment on the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening and the film ensures that the film when installed reduces or eliminates water vapor diffusion in the joint between hatch and floor or ceiling opening and the two floors are sealed to each other perfectly.
- At least one side surface of the flexible foam, which is first introduced into the floor or ceiling opening, is surrounded by the film. This promotes the sliding in of the floor staircase unit into the floor or ceiling opening.
- a floor staircase unit 2 according to the invention is shown.
- the floor stair unit 2 is for mounting in a floor or ceiling opening 3 of a building wall 50 (see Fig. 3 ), whereby a floor or ceiling construction 1 (see Fig. 3 ) is formed.
- the bottom staircase unit 2 essentially comprises a hatch box 4, a lid 6, a walk-on lifting aid 8 and an elastic insulating unit 10.
- the hatch box 4 is made of wood, plastic or metal and has substantially four side walls 12, which are arranged at right angles to each other and each having an inner side 14 and an outer side 16.
- the inner sides 14 of the hatch box 4 define a cavity 18 therebetween.
- the side walls 12 are interconnected by adhesive or bolted joints in their contiguous areas.
- the hatch box 4 has a height HL, which is usually between 50 mm and 500 mm.
- cover strips 20 are mounted after installation usually serve to provide a transition between a lower edge of the hatch box 4 and the surrounding the floor or ceiling opening 3 building wall 50.
- the cover strips 20 are preferably formed from plastic. They do not form part of the hatch box 4 in the ready state before it is installed.
- the cover 6 is preferably designed as a flat plate and, like the hatch box 4, preferably consists of wood, plastic or metal.
- the lid 6 may between a closed position in which the lid 6, the cavity 18 of the hatch box 4 covers (not shown), and an open position in which the lid 6 exposes the cavity 18 (see Fig. 1 ), are moved.
- another cover element (not shown) may be provided.
- the further cover element would then be arranged in an upper region of the hatch box 4, opposite the cover 6.
- the cover 6 and the further cover would then accommodate the cavity 18 of the hatch box between them.
- the further cover element can be fastened to the hatch box 4 in a manner similar to that of the cover 6.
- a pivot connection 22 between the cover 6 and the hatch box 4 is arranged on an inner side 21 of the cover 6, which is directed in the direction of the cavity 18 of the hatch box 4.
- the pivotal connection 22 is formed, for example, as a hinge connection. The lid 6 is thus reciprocable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the lid 6 closes the cavity 18 from below.
- At least one further connection element 24 can be provided which connects the cover 6 to the hatch box 4.
- the at least one further connecting element 24 is designed as a folding lever, whose one end is displaceably mounted on the hatch box 4 and whose other end is fixedly connected to the cover 6 of the hatch box 4.
- the at least one further connecting element 24 is preferably guided in a recess 26 or rail.
- two such connecting elements 24 are arranged symmetrically on the two sides of the lid 6.
- the walk-up climbing aid 8 On the inner side 21 of the lid 6, the walk-up climbing aid 8 is arranged.
- the walk-up climbing aid 8 which is formed for example as a ladder or stairs, attached to the inside 21 of the lid 6. Since the lid 6 usually does not have the size that it extends from a ceiling to an opposite bottom of a room, the climbing aid 8 is designed foldable or extendable. Ideally, the climbing aid 8 is designed such that it extends in an unfolded or extended state from the ceiling to the opposite floor and can be parked there.
- Fig. 1 the elastic insulation unit 10 is shown.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 extends completely around the outside 16 of the side walls 12 of the hatch box 4 around.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 may consist of one piece or be juxtaposed of several parts.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 is firmly connected to the hatch box 4, in particular glued.
- a section of a side wall 12 of the hatch box 4 is shown with a section of the elastic insulating unit 10.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 consists essentially of a flexible foam 32 and a film 34 which surrounds the flexible foam 32 at least partially.
- at least one adhesive layer 36 is provided, which connects the flexible foam 32 and / or the film 34 fixed to the hatch box 4.
- the flexible foam 32 must be attached directly or indirectly to the outside 16 of the side walls 12 of the hatch box 4 and is preferably fixedly or indirectly connected to it.
- the flexible foam 32 is connected to the hatch box 4 in such a way that it can not be detached from it, alternatively it can only be released with considerable force or by special measures.
- the flexible foam 32 is preferably an open-cell flexible foam. It is usually made of foamed polyurethane. But there are also all other possible soft open-cell foam types in question.
- the soft foam 32 should be easily compressible.
- the material of the film 34 which at least partially surrounds or surrounds the flexible foam 32, can be any film material that is suitable for the stated purpose.
- laminated films composed of a plastic film laminated with a base material (eg, nonwoven fabric), fabric-reinforced films, or metal foils or papers can be used. Combinations of these materials are possible.
- plastic films of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide or copolymer films are preferred each with or without fleece lamination.
- the film 34 should be airtight and allow no passage of steam or at least inhibit it.
- Another variant of the film 34 may be achieved by skinning, i. by a coating of the flexible foam 32 with a liquid mass which does not harden on the surface and completely covers the respective side surface of the flexible foam 32.
- skinning takes place by spraying the respective at least one side surface.
- Polyurethane systems are particularly suitable as a skin-care material since they react quickly, exhibit good flexibility and have good chemical resistance.
- Such a closed polyurethane compound layer consists of a polymer matrix without significant air pockets and is therefore excellently suited to reinforce the sealing function of the flexible foam 32 and to make it more resistant to external influences.
- the sprayed-on skin is extremely reactive and forms a firm adhesive bond with the flexible foam 32. In order that the compressible properties of the flexible foam 32 are not impaired, the sprayed-on skin should also be slightly compressible.
- the flexible foam 32 is shown in a state of provision of the bottom staircase unit 2.
- the flexible foam 32 is substantially completely expanded here.
- the soft foam 32 is slightly compressed in the provision state. In any case, it is important that the flexible foam 32 is still compressible.
- FIG. 3 is an installation state of the hatch box 4 from Fig. 2 shown.
- Fig. 3 only a section of the hatch box 4 and the building wall 50 is shown.
- the soft foam 32 is in this installed state of the hatch box 4 in an at least partially compressed state, since the support surface 30 of the flexible foam 32, which faces away from the hatch box 4, in each case abuts against an inner wall 54 of the bottom or ceiling opening 3.
- the hatch box 4 is preferably bolted to the building wall 50.
- the soft foam 32 is compressed in the installed state or more compressed than in the Provisioning state, which in Fig. 2 is shown.
- An intermediate space 52 which arises when the hatch box 4 is inserted into the floor or ceiling opening 3 between the hatch box 4 and the respective inner walls 54 of the floor or ceiling opening 3, is generally between 5 mm and 25 mm.
- the height HB of the soft foam 32 in the uncompressed state must be greater than the gap 52 so that the soft foam 32 presses against the inner walls 54 and ensures a safe investment.
- the flexible foam 32 has a rectangular shape in cross-section, with two large bearing surfaces 30 facing each other and two narrower side surfaces 31 also facing each other (see Fig. 4 to 7 ).
- the flexible foam 32 preferably has a width BW in the range of 30 mm to 500 mm and a height HW in the range of approximately 5 mm to 100 mm (both shown in FIG Fig. 5 ). It goes without saying that the width BW of the flexible foam 32 should preferably be less than the height HL of the hatch box 4.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 comprises, in addition to the flexible foam 32, a film 34 and two adhesive layers 36.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 (shown in the right-hand image of FIG Fig. 4 ) is the soft foam 32 on the three sides, which do not abut the hatch box 4, surrounded by the film 34. This means that two side surfaces 31 and a support surface 30 of the flexible foam 32 are encased by the film 34.
- a first and second foil flank 40, 42 protrude laterally from the soft foam 32 on opposite sides of the flexible foam 32. These foil flanks 40, 42 are fastened to the hatch box 4 by the adhesive layers 36.
- the flexible foam 32 is held in position by the film 34 and is therefore also indirectly connected to the hatch box 4 indirectly.
- the flexible foam 32 in the figure has an idealized rectangular shape in cross-section, in practice, due to the resistance of the film 34, it will be rounded at least at the two upper edges in the image.
- the elastic insulation unit 10 which in Fig. 5 is shown, most of the elements are identical to the embodiment in FIG Fig. 4 , However, here is a consistently formed adhesive layer 36 is present, which extends over the entire width of the flexible foam 32 and serves to bond the flexible foam 32 with the hatch box 4.
- the first and the second foil flanks 40, 42 are folded inwards in such a way that they at least partially cover the contact surface 30 of the flexible foam 32, which faces the hatch box 4.
- the flexible foam 32 may have on at least one of the side surfaces 31 an additional adhesive layer 46, which may be glued to the film 34 for the purpose of better adhesion during installation.
- the side of the first and second foil flanks 40, 42, which faces the flexible foam 32 may also have an additional adhesive layer (not shown), which firmly connects the foil flanks 40, 42 with the soft foam 32.
- the embodiment in Fig. 6 corresponds to the embodiment in FIG Fig. 5 with the difference that instead of the adhesive layer 46 on the side surface 31, an adhesive layer 38 on that support surface 30 of the flexible foam 32, which is intended to be away from the hatch box 4 when connecting the elastic insulating unit 10 with the hatch box 4, is present.
- the adhesive layer 38 is used to connect the support surface 30 with the film 34, which thus adheres wrinkle-free on the support surface 30 and remains securely connected to the soft foam 32 during installation.
- a continuous adhesive layer 36 extends over the entire width of the flexible foam 32 and the foil flanks 40, 42 and serves to bond the flexible foam 32 and the foil flanks 40, 42 to the hatch box 4.
- the flexible foam 32 has a wedge-shaped cross section instead of the rectangular cross section.
- the flexible foam 32 has in this embodiment, a support surface 30 and two side surfaces 31, wherein in the partially compressed installation state, the inclined side surface 31 at least partially serves as a bearing surface for the building wall 50.
- the soft foam 32 is in the region of the support surface 30 by means of a continuous adhesive layer 36 on the hatch box 4 attached.
- the taper of the wedge-shaped soft foam 32 is directed in the direction in which the bottom stair unit 2 is to be inserted into the floor or ceiling opening 3. Due to the wedge-shaped cross section of the flexible foam 32, the bottom staircase unit 2 can be more easily inserted into the floor or ceiling opening 3.
- the film 34 is formed only on the oblique side surface 31 of the flexible foam 32.
- the flexible foam 32 is formed as a foam cord.
- the flexible foam 32 is completely surrounded by the film 34.
- the film 34 is attached to the hatch box 4 through the adhesive layer 36 and fixedly connected thereto.
- Fig. 10 an embodiment of the elastic insulating unit 10 is shown, in which the film 34, the flexible foam 32, which has a rectangular cross section, completely encased.
- the film 34 is attached to the hatch box 4 by a continuous adhesive layer 36.
- the film 34 may either completely or partially encase the soft foam 32, regardless of the shape of the flexible foam 32. If only one side surface 31 is covered by the film 34, this must be a side surface 31 of the flexible foam 32 which is in the installed state of the hatch box 4 extends away.
- Foil flanks 40, 42 may be present in all embodiments and be folded either inwardly or outwardly.
- the film 34 and the soft foam 32 may be adhered to each other over the entire surface or at one or more locations.
- adhesives of the adhesive layers 36, 38, 46 for example, polyurethane adhesives or acrylate systems are used. It can also be used a film 34, which is itself one-sided sticky. In principle, all possible plastics are suitable as the film material, for example polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride or polyurethane. The most common adhesive in such applications is acrylate. It is also possible to completely or partially laminate the film 34 to the flexible foam 32. In the case of equally possible spray-coating, a firm bond between film 34 and flexible foam 32 inevitably forms.
- a double-sided adhesive tape is preferred, which is preferably provided on one side with a peelable cover layer prior to attachment to the hatch box 4.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 must be attached to the hatch box 4.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 is available as a prefabricated roll goods, but it is also possible to produce them in strip form. It is also possible to merge individual elements of the elastic insulating unit 10 only when attached to the hatch box 4. In the following, the case will be described that the elastic insulation unit 10 is present as a prefabricated roll goods.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 With the attachment of the elastic insulating unit 10, for example, is started centrally on an edge of the outside 16 of the hatch box 4.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 is guided along the outer side 16 to the opposite edge of the hatch box 4, thereby glued to the hatch box 4 and finally separated at the opposite edge flush from the roll.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 is applied blunt overlapping and again led to a subsequent edge of the hatch box 4.
- the elastic damping unit 10 can also be guided around the corners of the hatch box 4 in one piece, e.g. to form a loop or a gusset or by notching the flexible foam 32 while maintaining the film 34 in the region of the corners.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 is circumferentially attached to the four outer sides 16 of the hatch box 4 so that the elastic insulating unit 10 once passes around the hatch box 4 and is fixedly connected to the hatch box 4.
- the floor stair unit 2 can be inserted into the floor or ceiling opening 3 of the building wall 50.
- the smooth or lubricious film 34 aids in sliding the bottom staircase unit 2 into the floor or ceiling opening 3.
- the floor or stairway unit 2 is ideally inserted into the floor or ceiling opening 3 such that at least one first enters the floor - Or ceiling opening 3 introduced side surface 31 of the flexible foam 32 is surrounded by the film 34.
- ground station units 2 are inserted from above into the floor or ceiling opening 3 and by means of auxiliary holding means additionally attached to the upper edge of the hatch box 4, e.g. laterally projecting rods, held there until the bottom stair unit 2 is screwed to the building wall 50.
- auxiliary holding means additionally attached to the upper edge of the hatch box 4, e.g. laterally projecting rods, held there until the bottom stair unit 2 is screwed to the building wall 50.
- the intermediate space 52 between the hatch box 4 and the respective inner wall 54 of the floor or ceiling opening 3 is covered by the compressed flexible foam 32, and the film 34 must completely span this intermediate space 52 so that the passage of air and preferably also the vapor diffusion is prevented.
- the elastic insulating unit 10 may be completely received in the intermediate space 52 in the installed state or at least partially protrude from this gap 52 downwards or upwards.
- the protruding portion of the flexible foam 32 of the elastic insulating unit 10 would then be further expanded than the part of the flexible foam 32 located in the intermediate space 52. In this case, an additional covering of the protruding portion of the elastic insulating unit 10 would be necessary.
- the flexible foam 32 in its at least partially compressed state rests against the inner walls 54 of the floor or ceiling opening 3 and compensates for unevenness due to its nature.

Description
The present invention relates to a floor stair unit, a floor or ceiling construction with a floor stair unit and a method of forming a floor or ceiling construction with a floor stair unit.
Floor stair units are usually installed in the ceiling openings of a residential unit and connect a residential floor of a house with an overlying loft, a flat roof as an exit or an underlying cellar. Such floor staircases are known for example from the company Dolle. In the most common embodiments, the floor staircase unit comprises a hatch box with at least one hinged lid which closes the hatch box from below and thus forms part of the ceiling of the floor below. On the cover then an extendable or foldable ladder or stairs is usually attached.
Such floor stair units form a space-saving construction for connecting two floors. A stairwell, as is the case for example with a spiral staircase or a staircase with a staircase, is not necessary when using floor stair units. To get into the floor above or below, the ladder can be easily unfolded or extended. If the ladder is no longer needed, it is retracted or folded and stowed in the hatch box. As already indicated above, the attic unit usually connects an inhabited area of the house, in which room temperature generally prevails, with an uninhabited area of the house, which in most cases is not heated and in which, in the cold season, temperatures well below that Room temperature are present. Due to the temperature gradient between the inhabited area and the uninhabited area, condensation water may form in the area of the hatch box of the attic staircase unit. This can lead to mold growth in the area of the hatch box and, in the worst case, even lead to a wooden hatch box becoming rotten.
The present invention has for its object to provide a floor stair unit for mounting in a floor or ceiling opening of a building wall, which prevents or at least inhibits water vapor diffusion in the hatch box and also provides thermal insulation between the two floors, as well as provide a practical as possible method for forming a floor or ceiling construction with the floor stair unit.
This object is solved by the features of
According to the invention, the floor-step unit for installation in a floor or ceiling opening comprises a hatch box which has four side walls, each having an inside and an outside, wherein a cavity is defined between the inside sides. Further, the floor staircase unit includes a lid secured to the hatch box and pivotable between a closed position covering the cavity and an open position exposing the cavity. Furthermore, the bottom staircase unit comprises a walk-on climbing aid fastened to the lid, and an elastic insulating unit comprising a compressible soft foam and a film circulating around the outside of the side walls of the hatch box, the film at least partially surrounding the flexible foam , and wherein the flexible foam is attached directly or indirectly to the hatch box, preferably directly or indirectly fixedly connected to the hatch box.
This embodiment of the floor staircase unit ensures that there is thermal insulation between two floors and that water vapor diffusion in the area of the floor stair unit is prevented or inhibited in a simple manner. In addition, such a staircase unit is particularly easy to install.
Preferably, the flexible foam is attached to the hatch box with an adhesive layer. As a result, when the bottom staircase unit is inserted into the floor or ceiling opening, the soft foam will fall off the hatch box or prevent it from slipping.
Alternatively or additionally, the film may also preferably be fastened to the hatch box with an adhesive layer.
It is particularly advantageous if the flexible foam is substantially completely expanded in a provision state of the bottom staircase unit. The soft foam can thus be easily compressed when inserted into the floor or ceiling opening and nestle after installation to the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening.
Advantageously, the flexible foam is surrounded at least at one of its projecting from the hatch box side surfaces with the film. As a result, the film, when installed, reduces or eliminates water vapor diffusion and the two floors are sealed off from each other in an excellent manner.
It is particularly advantageous if the flexible foam is completely enclosed by the combination of film and hatch box. In this way, the soft foam is protected from all sides.
The film preferably has a first foil flank and a second foil flank, the first and the second foil flank being fastened to the hatch box. The foil flanks create a secure connection of the foil to the hatch box.
It is particularly preferred if the first and second foil flanks protrude laterally from the soft foam on opposite sides of the flexible foam. As a result, a larger contact surface of the elastic insulating unit is ensured at the hatch box.
Alternatively, the first and the second foil flank may be folded over onto the side of the soft foam facing the hatch box. This allows a space-saving attachment of the film to the hatch box.
So that the flexible foam and / or the film can be easily attached to the hatch box, the adhesive layer is preferably designed as a double-sided adhesive tape.
It is also particularly advantageous if the film is arrested at least with the side of the flexible foam facing away from the hatch box. In this way, the film is tightened in this area and does not wrinkle, which optimizes the sliding properties during insertion.
In a floor or ceiling construction with a floor or ceiling opening of a building wall and a floor stair unit according to the invention, the floor stair unit is inserted into the floor or ceiling opening such that the flexible foam is at least partially in a space between the hatch box and the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening in an at least partially compressed state is arranged and the film spans the space between the hatch box and the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening. The soft foam ensures due to its inherent expansion effort in the installed state for safe investment on the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening and the film ensures that the film when installed reduces or eliminates water vapor diffusion in the joint between hatch and floor or ceiling opening and the two floors are sealed to each other perfectly.
- Bereitstellen einer Bodentreppeneinheit mit einem Lukenkasten, der vier Seitenwände mit jeweils einer Innenseite und einer Außenseite aufweist, wobei zwischen den Innenseiten ein Hohlraum definiert ist; einem Deckel, der an dem Lukenkasten befestigt ist und zwischen einer geschlossenen Stellung, in der er den Hohlraum abdeckt, und einer offenen Stellung, in der er den Hohlraum freilegt, schwenkbar ist; einem begehbaren Steighilfsmittel, das am Deckel befestigt ist; und einer elastischen Dämmeinheit, die einen komprimierbaren Weichschaumstoff und eine Folie aufweist und die um die Außenseite der Seitenwände des Lukenkastens umlaufend angeordnet ist, wobei die Folie den Weichschaumstoff zumindest teilweise umgibt, und wobei der Weichschaumstoff fest mit dem Lukenkasten verbunden ist;
- Providing a floor stair unit with a hatch box having four side walls each having an inner side and an outer side, wherein a cavity is defined between the inner sides; a lid fixed to the hatch box and pivotable between a closed position covering the cavity and an open position exposing the cavity; a walk-on climbing aid attached to the lid; and an elastic insulating unit comprising a compressible soft foam and a film circumferentially disposed about the outside of the side walls of the hatch box, the film at least partially surrounding the flexible foam, and wherein the flexible foam is fixedly connected to the hatch box;
- Inserting the floor stair unit into a floor or ceiling opening of a building wall, thereby at least partially compressing the flexible foam in a space between the hatch box and the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening; and
- Attaching the floor stair unit in the floor or ceiling opening such that the flexible foam is at least partially disposed in the space between the hatch box and the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening in an at least partially compressed state and the film the space between hatch box and spans the inner walls of the floor or ceiling opening.
In this method, the insertion of the floor stair unit with the elastic insulation unit in the floor or ceiling opening is done in a simple manner.
Preferably, at least one side surface of the flexible foam, which is first introduced into the floor or ceiling opening, is surrounded by the film. This promotes the sliding in of the floor staircase unit into the floor or ceiling opening.

The
In addition to the

The
The material of the
Another variant of the

First, provide a
With the attachment of the elastic insulating
Subsequently, the
Most
The elastic insulating
In the
