Definitions
- the invention relates to a profile connection strip for a transition from a component to a building wall, the profile connection strip having a foam tape which is connected directly or indirectly to the profile connection strip by means of an adhesive connection and can be connected directly or indirectly to the component.
- a generic profile connection strip with a foam tape has become known, which in the undeformed state usually has a thickness of approximately 2 mm to a maximum of 4 mm. With this thickness of the foam tape, the properties of the foam adhesive tape mentioned in this document are advantageous.
- the object of the invention is to provide a profile terminal block of the type mentioned, which is improved in terms of its deformability.
- the object is achieved according to the invention in the above-mentioned profile connection strip in that a foam tape arrangement arranged on the profile connection strip has a thickness perpendicular to the profile connection strip of at least 5 mm.
- the foam tape arrangement can also have a thickness of, for example, at least 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm or more, as a result of which a high movement absorption is made possible.
- the foam tape arrangement is formed from at least two foam tapes, which are connected to one another in a sealed manner, in particular are glued.
- the thickness can be increased by means of several foam tapes or foam adhesive tapes without the width having to be increased. This saves costs for the foam tapes or foam adhesive tapes and for the profile connection strip, since this can also be made narrower.
- the higher slenderness of the foam tape arrangement increases its mobility and thus its ability to absorb relative movements.
- the at least two foam tapes are different.
- the foam tape arrangement can thereby be very soft, for example by means of one or more soft foam tapes, and / or have a large thickness of, for example, 6 mm or 8 mm or 10 mm or 12 mm or 16 mm or more, which enables a high level of movement absorption.
- an area protruding in the width direction can be designed to be very dimensionally stable, for example by means of an adhesive tape or one or more foam tapes with low deformation properties, and / or only have a thickness of, for example, 4 mm or 3 mm or 2 mm or 1 mm, as a result of which this protruding area of the foam tape arrangement as a connecting section between the profile connection strip and the component provides a desired high stability during assembly and processing.
- the permanent sealing connection between the profile connection strip and the component is further provided by the soft and / or high connecting section of the foam tape arrangement, even if the connection in the above area is released during the service life.
- an intermediate layer can be arranged in the indirect connection between the foam tape and the profile connection strip or between the foam tape and the component.
- the intermediate layer is, for example, part of the profile connection strip, such as, for. B. a leg.
- a wall component is solid masonry or another wall construction e.g. B. made of wood or steel, which fulfills the function of a space-limiting element. This also includes the sections of ceilings and floors assigned to the wall components, if these are intended as a fastening base for the horizontal portions of a component.
- joints or fastening joints are very different and diverse in their type, arrangement, dimensions, combination and in expansion behavior. Nevertheless, these joints must be permanently sealed in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations, namely airtight on the inside, driving rainproof and windproof / airtight on the outside and more vapor diffusion-proof on the inside than on the outside.
- a substantially central section of the fastening joint is referred to as a component fastening joint and is located, for. B. between the window frame and the building wall or the reveal, for example in the area of the screwing of the window frame to the building wall.
- the mutual edge areas of the fastening joint, the z. B. facing a building interior or a building exterior are referred to as joints.
- Each joint is located essentially between a section of the profile connection strip assigned to the component and the section of the component located below or opposite it and merges into the component fastening joint on the inside or on the building wall side.
- the foam tape arrangement is essentially arranged in the joint between a section of the profile connection strip assigned to the component and the section of the component located below or opposite.
- the joint remains as an area to be sealed.
- the foam tape arrangement is connected on the one hand to the profile connection strip and on the other hand to the component in a sealing manner.
- the sealing arrangement according to the invention can be prefabricated both on a component that can be attached to a building wall and on a component that is already attached to a building wall, such as in particular a door or window frame part.
- the profile connection strip is preferably connected in a sealing manner to the surface layer of the building wall with a profile portion designed as a connection device.
- the portion of the profile designed as a connection device can be wholly or partially embedded in the surface layer of the building wall.
- the profile connection strip can also, especially during renovation work be attached to the surface or the surface layer of the building wall.
- the profile connection strip can be arranged towards the surface or the surface layer of the building wall and can be connected to the building wall by means of an adhesive material.
- the connection device ensures a permanent, permanent connection between the profile connection strip and any surface or surface layer of the building wall, wherein the permanent permanent connection can have a certain flexibility.
- the prerequisite for this functionality is that the connection force between the profile connection strip and the surface layer or surface of the building wall is greater than the connection force between the profile connection strip and the component.
- connection is made in particular by screwing or gluing.
- the connection device is embedded in the surface layer, for example, by means of surface materials such as, in particular, plaster, high-quality plaster, attachment mortar, filler and tile adhesive, or is adhesively bonded to it.
- Adhesive material or sealing compound such as adhesive, in particular hybrid adhesive, acrylate adhesive, polyurethane and butyl rubber or permanently plastic adhesive compound, in particular silicone, acrylic and PU, are also suitable for embedding or connection and / or sealing with the building wall. The same applies to adhesive tapes.
- the surface of the building wall can basically be any surface, i. H. the surface of the building wall and the surface of the surface layer. It should also be emphasized that the surface or the surface layer itself has a sealing function for the building wall.
- the surface layer of the building is z.
- EICS thermal insulation composite system ETS thermal insulation composite system
- Surface layers are usually between 1 mm and 25 mm thick.
- Insulating plasters usually have a thickness of up to 80 mm.
- Filling on concrete or old plaster or drywall boards can be 1 mm to 4 mm thick.
- Filling and / or plastering in ETICS are preferably 4 mm to 10 mm thick.
- Wet plaster is usually 10 mm to 25 mm thick. Usual sheet thicknesses range between 0.4 mm and 1.2 mm.
- At least one layer of the surface layer suitable for fastening a profile connection strip itself has the standards-compliant properties of wind or air tightness and / or driving rain tightness.
- the property that the seal on the inside of the room should be more vapor diffusion-proof than on the outside of the room is not required for the building wall, but specifically only for the spatially narrowly defined area of the fastening joint.
- connection of the profile connection strip to the building wall is not only intended for the installation period or for a short period of use, but for the entire duration of use.
- connection In order to maintain the sealing connection between the profile connection strip and the building wall, it is important that the connection is non-positive or force-transmitting.
- Such connections are usually rigid or rigid.
- the sealing connection between the profile connection strip and the building wall can be produced more easily and with higher quality if the connection device is arranged on a profile leg or is at least partially formed by a profile leg and is designed in particular in the area of its sealing connection to the building wall for an intensive connection. This is done, for example, through recesses or holes, as is usually the case with punchings arise. A rough or non-slip surface or a reinforcing fabric section attached to the profile connection strip is also suitable for this.
- a foam tape arrangement is sealingly connected to the profile connection strip, which in turn is sealingly connected to a component fastened to the building wall.
- this foam tape arrangement extends over the joint and seals it almost independently of its dimension and arrangement and of any stretching movements that occur.
- Such a foam tape arrangement can be used universally, conforms to standards, is simple in construction and is inexpensive to manufacture, since it can be produced using components known per se.
- the foam tape arrangement is preferably of strip-like design in the longitudinal direction and / or has a constant cross section.
- connection of the foam tape arrangement to the profile connection strip and / or the component is preferably carried out by means of adhesive material, the adhesive material in particular being provided with adhesive on both sides.
- Adhesive surfaces are often provided with a weakly adhesive and therefore removable protective cover for the delivery and assembly process. That can e.g. B. silicone papers or PE films. In the case of thick adhesive material, a lengthways elastic protective cover is preferred. This prevents the formation of notches in the adhesive material in the case of roll goods or reel goods.
- the adhesive material can be an adhesive tape or an adhesive or a permanently plastic adhesive.
- Adhesive tapes typically consist of a carrier material with one-sided or double-sided adhesive device and are in particular double-sided adhesive tapes or foam adhesive tapes (SKB).
- Adhesives include, in particular, hybrid adhesives, acrylate adhesives, PU adhesives, butyl rubbers.
- the permanently plastic adhesive compositions include, in particular, silicones, acrylics and PU compositions.
- the force that can be transmitted by the connection device must, in particular, be greater than the connecting force generated or generated by the foam tape arrangement and consequently greater than the adhesive force or breaking force of the connecting material or carrier material of the foam tape arrangement.
- the foam tape arrangement is thus preferably a weaker link in the flow of force between the component and the building wall.
- the carrier material preferably tears or the at least one adhesive connection of the foam tape arrangement fails.
- connection device is preferably produced by means of a larger connecting area and / or firmer or harder material such as, in particular, plaster, spatula, fixing compound and the like.
- connection profiles The advantages of sealing directly on the component are well known from the reveal connection profiles.
- the seal can usually be created in one step without the surface layer having to be applied. This allows in particular a largely pre-assembly of the sealing arrangement already z. B. in the manufacturing plant of the component. After installation, this foam tape arrangement provides the seal even with large expansion movements. Since the profile connection strip is more firmly connected to the building surface via the connection device than to the component via the foam tape arrangement, high relative movements only lead to movements in the foam tape arrangement without tearing or separation. The foam tape arrangement can only meet the sealing requirements if it is actually designed to be completely sealed.
- the foam tape arrangement does its job of permanently sealing the connection while simultaneously absorbing relative movements very well if it does with its wider cross-sectional dimensions is assigned to the component or the profile connection strip and / or fastened to it, since in this way it forms a wider fastening base, in particular an adhesive base.
- the foam tape arrangement expediently contains a lateral widening which, at a distance from its fastening base on the profiled connection strip, offers additional support on the profiled connection strip, in particular on a second fastening section of the profiled connection strip.
- the profile connection strip preferably contains a second fastening section, which is in particular laterally offset to the fastening base or the adhesive position of the foam tape arrangement and is offset relative to the fastening base in the direction of the thickness of the foam tape arrangement so that the fastening base and the second fastening section are arranged in different planes.
- the sealing connection of the foam tape arrangement is or is preferably produced by means of an adhesive material.
- the adhesive material is in particular equipped with adhesive on both sides or a self-adhesive material. Adhesive surfaces are often provided with a weakly adhesive and therefore removable protective cover for the delivery and assembly process. That can e.g. B. silicone papers or PE films. In the case of thick adhesive material, a lengthways elastic protective cover is preferred. This prevents the formation of notches in the adhesive material in the case of roll goods or reel goods.
- the adhesive material can be a sealing adhesive tape or a sealing adhesive or a permanently plastic sealing adhesive. Sealing adhesive tapes typically consist of a carrier material with one-sided or double-sided adhesive device and are in particular double-sided adhesive tapes or foam adhesive tapes (SKB).
- foams and elastic masses e.g. B. acrylics, EPDM, TPE, PVC, polyurethane, rubber, foam rubber used.
- Adhesives include, in particular, hybrid adhesives, acrylate adhesives, PU adhesives, butyl rubbers.
- the permanently plastic adhesives or sealing adhesives include, in particular, silicones, acrylics and PU materials. The ability to absorb movement, especially three-dimensionally, is a decisive criterion when choosing the material and dimensioning the shape.
- a high level of permanent adhesive strength is particularly important for the perfect functioning of the foam tape arrangement.
- the adhesive force of the foam tape arrangement with the profile connection strip and / or the component is preferably greater than the internal expansion force of the foam tape arrangement. This adhesive connection is unsolvable in the optimal case, so that in the event of an overuse z. B. the base material would be overstretched and would fail as a weaker link in the power chain.
- the profile connection strip is movably connected to the component in the installed position for an expansion movement by means of the foam tape arrangement.
- considerable relative movements between the component and the building wall occur, particularly due to the weather.
- Three-dimensional movements of the respective joint or fastening joint of +/- 0.5 mm to +/- 1.0 mm occur regularly.
- Stretching movements of up to +/- 2.0 mm or even +/- 3.0 mm are less common at the turn of the year and depend in particular on the size of the component, the material, the color and the weathering.
- Relative movements along and / or across the foam tape arrangement of +/- 6 mm, +/- 9 mm or even more are unusual, but can also be expected.
- the thickness movement is mostly due to the rigid limitation of the building surface such.
- the elongation at break and / or the mobility for a further sealing connection must be made correspondingly high.
- the foam tape arrangement is arranged in whole or in part in the component fastening joint, it can happen that, for. B. in processing between the unclad outer wall of the building and the component and / or an additionally arranged element reaches an essentially incompressible material, in particular plaster or filler. So that no destructive resistance arises during the expansion movements that occur, it is advantageous if the foam tape arrangement is compressible in terms of its thickness.
- a corresponding profile shape or design and / or a compressible material that is several mm thick enables an expansion of the component or, in the case of hard, non-compressible backfill material between the building wall and the component and / or elements arranged thereon, in accordance with the profile shaping or thickness and compressibility of the material strip. the elements arranged thereon such. B. aluminum shells or roller shutter guide rails.
- the foam tape arrangement can have increased elasticity and / or increased elongation at break and / or reduced Shore hardness.
- EP 1 469 139 A1 referenced, which is hereby expressly made part of this application.
- the technical design of the foam tape arrangement or the selection of the elastic material can be used to produce the technical property in accordance with the standards.
- the respective standards e.g. DIN 4108
- regulations e.g. EnEV, RAL guidelines for assembly
- test specifications specify which values are required and must be observed in order to be assigned to a specific tightness class.
- the recordable stretching movements required in each case are also known. Since both the profile connection strip and the component are mostly relatively immovable, the property required is determined by the foam tape arrangement.
- the foam tape arrangement can have one or more one-sided and / or two-sided adhesive devices with one or more removable protective films.
- the foam tape arrangement is, for example, a foam plastic strip, which is particularly equipped with adhesive on both sides. It can have different thicknesses or widths and consist of different foams.
- the foam tape arrangement is open to diffusion according to the standard or very diffusible or diffusible or hardly diffusible or diffusion-tight according to the standard (see DIN 4108).
- Sealing materials or adhesive materials which have a specific ⁇ value (water vapor diffusion resistance number) or S d value (vapor diffusion resistance) are preferably used to produce the respective property (for a more detailed explanation of these values, see EP 1 426 540 A2 ).
- Components such as B. Windows usually have a rectangular basic shape. If an interior and / or exterior surface of the component is used for sealing, the sealing must also be arranged in a rectangular manner.
- the profile connection strip is butted in the corners of the component or a miter cut for a circumferential seal. This creates an interruption that causes a leak. Such an interruption can be sealed with an adhesive material or sealing compound already described.
- the profile connection strip or the foam tape arrangement is at least partially arranged in the component fastening joint, and at least the foam tape arrangement is first attached to the surface of the component on the building wall side separately from the profile connection strip.
- the sealing arrangement can thus be uninterrupted via a connection point between two angled legs of the component run sealing. In the proposed solution, the foam tape arrangement can therefore be attached all around in one piece and thus produce an increased tightness without additional sealing effort.
- the arrangement of the foam tape arrangement on the fastening base and / or the material or the shape of the foam tape arrangement determine the technical data of the sealing arrangement and thus compliance with the standards and regulations.

B. when exposed to heat, cold or moisture. If the component 10, for example a wooden window frame, contracts (see Fig. 1 , Movement in the direction of the arrow perpendicularly away from the wall 11), the foam adhesive tape 22, which has a thickness which is substantially greater than that of conventional foam adhesive tapes (ie the extent perpendicular to the fastening base 19 of the profile connecting strip 17) of at least 5 mm or more, can attach to the latter Adjust movement or this offset elastically without tearing. - the support leg 45 forms a second fastening section for the foam tape arrangement and on its outer surface 46, which is approximately at height the connecting or adhesive plane between the two foam adhesive tapes 39, 40 and thus offset from the fastening base 38, the outer foam adhesive tape 40 is glued with its widening 47 projecting beyond the inner foam adhesive tape 39.
- An at least partially flexible lip 48 is formed on the outer leg 44 in such a way that it rests against the outside 16 of the component 10 under elastic prestress and thus covers the outer foam adhesive tape 40 lying behind it and protects it from UV radiation and weathering.
- the shape of the profile connection strip 37 in the region of the outer leg 44 can differ from that in FIG Fig. 4 shown shape deviate as long as a second attachment portion for the foam tape assembly is formed thereon.
- the connection of the thinner outer foam adhesive tape 40 is released from the second fastening section on the support leg 45, since this connection has a lower adhesive force than the connection of the outer foam adhesive tape 40 to the component 10 and since the sealing compound 43 inner leg 41 and thus the profile terminal block 37 holds firmly in position. Due to its greater flexibility and flexibility, the inner softer foam adhesive tape 39 can follow the movement of the component 10 and deforms accordingly without tearing. The inner foam adhesive tape 39 thus holds a tight connection between the component 10 and the profile connection strip 37 and consequently the plaster layer 18 upright.
- a profile terminal block 37 ' for. B. for renovation use, contains a foam tape arrangement with two identical, similar or similar foam tapes 51 and 52 in a stack.
- This profile connection strip 37 ' is formed without a second fastening section, but also has a sealing lip 48'.
- component 10 moves in the direction of arrow 49 '(see Fig. 7 ) according to the above embodiment of Fig. 5 , whereby the joint filling material 14 can also tear
- the two foam adhesive tapes 51 and 52 deform approximately in the same way and maintain a sealing connection between the component 10 and the profile connection strip 37 '.
- the function of this profile connection strip 37 ' essentially corresponds to that of the profile connection strip 37 according to FIGS Fig. 4 and 5 , however, the profile terminal block 37 according to the Fig. 4 and 5 with its wider fastening base, the wider and additionally supported outer foam adhesive tape 40 makes it more stable and easier to handle during assembly.
- the foam tape arrangement can be compared to the 4 to 7 modified combinations of foam adhesive tapes and / or adhesive tapes or in each case a single foam adhesive tape or adhesive tape can be replaced.

So far, there is no known practical, inexpensive or permanent solution to the problem of comparatively large expansion movements.
The object of the invention is to provide a profile terminal block of the type mentioned, which is improved in terms of its deformability.
The object is achieved according to the invention in the above-mentioned profile connection strip in that a foam tape arrangement arranged on the profile connection strip has a thickness perpendicular to the profile connection strip of at least 5 mm. The foam tape arrangement can also have a thickness of, for example, at least 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm or more, as a result of which a high movement absorption is made possible.
Previous approaches have mostly attempted to achieve the absorption of high movements while at the same time providing a reliable seal by means of complex and costly profile shaping techniques or by means of costly compression strips or band arrangements. Simple, one-piece or standardized foam tapes or foam adhesive tapes are inexpensive and easy to use. However, they can only be manufactured as rolls or reels more broadly than high. In order to enable a high degree of movement absorption with a profile connection strip, the thickness of the foam tape arrangement is increased accordingly to the desired movement absorption. With a one-piece foam tape arrangement, its width also increases. The known foam tape arrangements were previously a maximum of 4 mm thick.
According to the invention, the foam tape arrangement is formed from at least two foam tapes, which are connected to one another in a sealed manner, in particular are glued. The thickness can be increased by means of several foam tapes or foam adhesive tapes without the width having to be increased. This saves costs for the foam tapes or foam adhesive tapes and for the profile connection strip, since this can also be made narrower. At the same time, the higher slenderness of the foam tape arrangement increases its mobility and thus its ability to absorb relative movements. According to the invention, the at least two foam tapes are different.
Due to different material of the foam tapes and / or different cross-sectional dimensions of the foam tapes within a foam tape arrangement it has different properties within the profile connection strip and / or compared to other profile connection strips. This is particularly important for the properties of the profile connection strip with regard to steam diffusion, movement absorption, assembly properties and the like.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
Additional advantages are achieved by a height offset within the foam tape arrangement, that is to say by an L-shaped, T-shaped, double-T-shaped or Z-shaped configuration of the foam tape arrangement. The foam tape arrangement can thereby be very soft, for example by means of one or more soft foam tapes, and / or have a large thickness of, for example, 6 mm or 8 mm or 10 mm or 12 mm or 16 mm or more, which enables a high level of movement absorption. At the same time, an area protruding in the width direction can be designed to be very dimensionally stable, for example by means of an adhesive tape or one or more foam tapes with low deformation properties, and / or only have a thickness of, for example, 4 mm or 3 mm or 2 mm or 1 mm, as a result of which this protruding area of the foam tape arrangement as a connecting section between the profile connection strip and the component provides a desired high stability during assembly and processing. The permanent sealing connection between the profile connection strip and the component is further provided by the soft and / or high connecting section of the foam tape arrangement, even if the connection in the above area is released during the service life.
Instead of directly attaching the foam tape or foam adhesive tape to the component or to the profile connection strip, an intermediate layer can be arranged in the indirect connection between the foam tape and the profile connection strip or between the foam tape and the component. The intermediate layer is, for example, part of the profile connection strip, such as, for. B. a leg.
When components such as windows and doors are installed in the outer walls of a building, there is a gap between the frame intended for fastening the component and a surface layer of the structure one or more joints. The surface layer of the building is z. B. wet plaster on solid masonry or a filler layer on an insulating layer on a wall component or a drywall board on mortar on a wall component or a tile with a filler layer on wet plaster or a drywall panel or a sheet metal cladding on a wall component. A wall component is solid masonry or another wall construction e.g. B. made of wood or steel, which fulfills the function of a space-limiting element. This also includes the sections of ceilings and floors assigned to the wall components, if these are intended as a fastening base for the horizontal portions of a component.
In the case of large components, in particular made of plastic and aluminum, with a dark color scheme and with components on the sides of the building facing the sun, large relative movements or expansion movements between these components occur during the service life of the building due to the different expansion behavior of adjacent components. A 3 mx 3 m plastic window, with the appropriate color and installation position, produces seasonal three-dimensional expansion movements, especially in the corner area, which can be more than 3 mm or 6 mm. However, window strips or glazing are also carried out in the order of magnitude of 100 m 2 and more, so that correspondingly larger expansion movements can occur.
The joints or fastening joints are very different and diverse in their type, arrangement, dimensions, combination and in expansion behavior. Nevertheless, these joints must be permanently sealed in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations, namely airtight on the inside, driving rainproof and windproof / airtight on the outside and more vapor diffusion-proof on the inside than on the outside.
When installing a component in or on a building wall, a fastening joint is created. A substantially central section of the fastening joint is referred to as a component fastening joint and is located, for. B. between the window frame and the building wall or the reveal, for example in the area of the screwing of the window frame to the building wall. The mutual edge areas of the fastening joint, the z. B. facing a building interior or a building exterior are referred to as joints. Each joint is located essentially between a section of the profile connection strip assigned to the component and the section of the component located below or opposite it and merges into the component fastening joint on the inside or on the building wall side. The foam tape arrangement is essentially arranged in the joint between a section of the profile connection strip assigned to the component and the section of the component located below or opposite.
Since the profile connection strip forms a tight unit, in particular together with a surface layer of the building wall, and the component also represents a tight body, the joint remains as an area to be sealed. The foam tape arrangement is connected on the one hand to the profile connection strip and on the other hand to the component in a sealing manner.
Such a sealing arrangement has the advantage over all previous approaches that it provides a seal with simple components for all installation situations that occur, which remains permanently sealed in the case of very large 3-dimensional expansion and / or compression movements that occur in practice. The processing and material costs are low. The sealing arrangement according to the invention can be prefabricated both on a component that can be attached to a building wall and on a component that is already attached to a building wall, such as in particular a door or window frame part.
The profile connection strip is preferably connected in a sealing manner to the surface layer of the building wall with a profile portion designed as a connection device. The portion of the profile designed as a connection device can be wholly or partially embedded in the surface layer of the building wall. The profile connection strip can also, especially during renovation work be attached to the surface or the surface layer of the building wall. The profile connection strip can be arranged towards the surface or the surface layer of the building wall and can be connected to the building wall by means of an adhesive material. The connection device ensures a permanent, permanent connection between the profile connection strip and any surface or surface layer of the building wall, wherein the permanent permanent connection can have a certain flexibility. The prerequisite for this functionality is that the connection force between the profile connection strip and the surface layer or surface of the building wall is greater than the connection force between the profile connection strip and the component.
The connection is made in particular by screwing or gluing. The connection device is embedded in the surface layer, for example, by means of surface materials such as, in particular, plaster, high-quality plaster, attachment mortar, filler and tile adhesive, or is adhesively bonded to it. Adhesive material or sealing compound such as adhesive, in particular hybrid adhesive, acrylate adhesive, polyurethane and butyl rubber or permanently plastic adhesive compound, in particular silicone, acrylic and PU, are also suitable for embedding or connection and / or sealing with the building wall. The same applies to adhesive tapes.
The surface of the building wall can basically be any surface, i. H. the surface of the building wall and the surface of the surface layer. It should also be emphasized that the surface or the surface layer itself has a sealing function for the building wall.
The surface layer of the building is z. B. wet plaster on solid masonry or a filler layer and / or plaster layer on an insulation layer (ETICS thermal insulation composite system) on a wall component or a drywall board, which in turn can have a filler or a noble plaster, on mortar on a wall component or a tile with a filler layer on wet plaster or a drywall board or sheet metal cladding on a wall component.
Übliche Blechdicken bewegen sich zwischen 0,4 mm und 1,2 mm.Surface layers are usually between 1 mm and 25 mm thick. Insulating plasters usually have a thickness of up to 80 mm. Filling on concrete or old plaster or drywall boards can be 1 mm to 4 mm thick. Filling and / or plastering in ETICS are preferably 4 mm to 10 mm thick. Wet plaster is usually 10 mm to 25 mm thick. Usual sheet thicknesses range between 0.4 mm and 1.2 mm.
The prerequisite here is that at least one layer of the surface layer suitable for fastening a profile connection strip itself has the standards-compliant properties of wind or air tightness and / or driving rain tightness. In solid masonry, in contrast to thermally insulated wood or steel constructions, the property that the seal on the inside of the room should be more vapor diffusion-proof than on the outside of the room is not required for the building wall, but specifically only for the spatially narrowly defined area of the fastening joint.
It is also assumed that the connection of the profile connection strip to the building wall is not only intended for the installation period or for a short period of use, but for the entire duration of use.
In order to maintain the sealing connection between the profile connection strip and the building wall, it is important that the connection is non-positive or force-transmitting. Such connections are usually rigid or rigid.
The sealing connection between the profile connection strip and the building wall can be produced more easily and with higher quality if the connection device is arranged on a profile leg or is at least partially formed by a profile leg and is designed in particular in the area of its sealing connection to the building wall for an intensive connection. This is done, for example, through recesses or holes, as is usually the case with punchings arise. A rough or non-slip surface or a reinforcing fabric section attached to the profile connection strip is also suitable for this.
A foam tape arrangement is sealingly connected to the profile connection strip, which in turn is sealingly connected to a component fastened to the building wall. As a result, this foam tape arrangement extends over the joint and seals it almost independently of its dimension and arrangement and of any stretching movements that occur. Such a foam tape arrangement can be used universally, conforms to standards, is simple in construction and is inexpensive to manufacture, since it can be produced using components known per se.
The foam tape arrangement is preferably of strip-like design in the longitudinal direction and / or has a constant cross section.
The connection of the foam tape arrangement to the profile connection strip and / or the component is preferably carried out by means of adhesive material, the adhesive material in particular being provided with adhesive on both sides. The adhesive material can be an adhesive tape or an adhesive or a permanently plastic adhesive. Adhesive tapes typically consist of a carrier material with one-sided or double-sided adhesive device and are in particular double-sided adhesive tapes or foam adhesive tapes (SKB). Various papers, foils, foams and dimensionally stable elastic masses, e.g. B. acrylics, EPDM, TPE, PVC, polyurethane, rubber, foam rubber used. Adhesives include, in particular, hybrid adhesives, acrylate adhesives, PU adhesives, butyl rubbers. The permanently plastic adhesive compositions include, in particular, silicones, acrylics and PU compositions. A prerequisite for the sealing function of the profile connection strip is that the connection force between the profile connection strip and the surface layer or surface of the building wall is greater than the connection force between the profile connection strip and the component.
The force that can be transmitted by the connection device must, in particular, be greater than the connecting force generated or generated by the foam tape arrangement and consequently greater than the adhesive force or breaking force of the connecting material or carrier material of the foam tape arrangement. The foam tape arrangement is thus preferably a weaker link in the flow of force between the component and the building wall. In the event of overstress, the carrier material preferably tears or the at least one adhesive connection of the foam tape arrangement fails.
The greater connecting force of the connection device is preferably produced by means of a larger connecting area and / or firmer or harder material such as, in particular, plaster, spatula, fixing compound and the like.
The advantages of sealing directly on the component are well known from the reveal connection profiles. The seal can usually be created in one step without the surface layer having to be applied.
The foam tape arrangement does its job of permanently sealing the connection while simultaneously absorbing relative movements very well if it does with its wider cross-sectional dimensions is assigned to the component or the profile connection strip and / or fastened to it, since in this way it forms a wider fastening base, in particular an adhesive base.
The foam tape arrangement expediently contains a lateral widening which, at a distance from its fastening base on the profiled connection strip, offers additional support on the profiled connection strip, in particular on a second fastening section of the profiled connection strip.
In addition to a fastening base, on the inside of which the foam tape arrangement is fastened or glued, the profile connection strip preferably contains a second fastening section, which is in particular laterally offset to the fastening base or the adhesive position of the foam tape arrangement and is offset relative to the fastening base in the direction of the thickness of the foam tape arrangement so that the fastening base and the second fastening section are arranged in different planes.
The sealing connection of the foam tape arrangement is or is preferably produced by means of an adhesive material. The adhesive material is in particular equipped with adhesive on both sides or a self-adhesive material. The adhesive material can be a sealing adhesive tape or a sealing adhesive or a permanently plastic sealing adhesive. Sealing adhesive tapes typically consist of a carrier material with one-sided or double-sided adhesive device and are in particular double-sided adhesive tapes or foam adhesive tapes (SKB). In particular, foams and elastic masses, e.g. B. acrylics, EPDM, TPE, PVC, polyurethane, rubber, foam rubber used. Adhesives include, in particular, hybrid adhesives, acrylate adhesives, PU adhesives, butyl rubbers. To the Adhesive or sealing adhesives, the permanently plastic adhesives or sealing adhesives include, in particular, silicones, acrylics and PU materials. The ability to absorb movement, especially three-dimensionally, is a decisive criterion when choosing the material and dimensioning the shape.
A high level of permanent adhesive strength is particularly important for the perfect functioning of the foam tape arrangement. The adhesive force of the foam tape arrangement with the profile connection strip and / or the component is preferably greater than the internal expansion force of the foam tape arrangement. This adhesive connection is unsolvable in the optimal case, so that in the event of an overuse z. B. the base material would be overstretched and would fail as a weaker link in the power chain.
It is advantageous if the profile connection strip is movably connected to the component in the installed position for an expansion movement by means of the foam tape arrangement. In continuous use, considerable relative movements between the component and the building wall occur, particularly due to the weather. Three-dimensional movements of the respective joint or fastening joint of +/- 0.5 mm to +/- 1.0 mm occur regularly. Stretching movements of up to +/- 2.0 mm or even +/- 3.0 mm are less common at the turn of the year and depend in particular on the size of the component, the material, the color and the weathering. Relative movements along and / or across the foam tape arrangement of +/- 6 mm, +/- 9 mm or even more are unusual, but can also be expected. The thickness movement is mostly due to the rigid limitation of the building surface such. B. plaster or filler layers on both sides of the component and is from +/- 0.5 mm or +/- 1.0 mm or even +/- 2.0 mm to mostly +/- 3 mm as the upper limit. In order to be able to absorb such movements, the elongation at break and / or the mobility for a further sealing connection must be made correspondingly high.
If the foam tape arrangement is arranged in whole or in part in the component fastening joint, it can happen that, for. B. in processing between the unclad outer wall of the building and the component and / or an additionally arranged element reaches an essentially incompressible material, in particular plaster or filler. So that no destructive resistance arises during the expansion movements that occur, it is advantageous if the foam tape arrangement is compressible in terms of its thickness. A corresponding profile shape or design and / or a compressible material that is several mm thick enables an expansion of the component or, in the case of hard, non-compressible backfill material between the building wall and the component and / or elements arranged thereon, in accordance with the profile shaping or thickness and compressibility of the material strip. the elements arranged thereon such. B. aluminum shells or roller shutter guide rails.
This enables a sufficiently flexible and at the same time permanently sealed seal to be achieved.
The technical design of the foam tape arrangement or the selection of the elastic material can be used to produce the technical property in accordance with the standards. The respective standards (e.g. DIN 4108), regulations (e.g. EnEV, RAL guidelines for assembly) and test specifications specify which values are required and must be observed in order to be assigned to a specific tightness class. The recordable stretching movements required in each case are also known. Since both the profile connection strip and the component are mostly relatively immovable, the property required is determined by the foam tape arrangement. For a driving rain-tight and / or a windproof or airtight and / or a seal on the inside compared to the outside on the outside, which is more vapor diffusion-proof and / or the ability to absorb stretching movements, a large number of known sealing materials or adhesive materials are available which are suitable for the sealing function. The foam tape arrangement can have one or more one-sided and / or two-sided adhesive devices with one or more removable protective films. The foam tape arrangement is, for example, a foam plastic strip, which is particularly equipped with adhesive on both sides. It can have different thicknesses or widths and consist of different foams.
Components such as B. Windows usually have a rectangular basic shape. If an interior and / or exterior surface of the component is used for sealing, the sealing must also be arranged in a rectangular manner. In the case of profile connection strips with attached adhesive sealing devices, the profile connection strip is butted in the corners of the component or a miter cut for a circumferential seal. This creates an interruption that causes a leak. Such an interruption can be sealed with an adhesive material or sealing compound already described. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the profile connection strip or the foam tape arrangement is at least partially arranged in the component fastening joint, and at least the foam tape arrangement is first attached to the surface of the component on the building wall side separately from the profile connection strip. The sealing arrangement can thus be uninterrupted via a connection point between two angled legs of the component run sealing. In the proposed solution, the foam tape arrangement can therefore be attached all around in one piece and thus produce an increased tightness without additional sealing effort.
The arrangement of the foam tape arrangement on the fastening base and / or the material or the shape of the foam tape arrangement determine the technical data of the sealing arrangement and thus compliance with the standards and regulations.
For example, the adhesive material is the same or different. In particular in the case of multilayer adhesive material, for example at least one adhesive device and / or at least one carrier material can be the same or different.
An identical or different cross-sectional shape or thickness and / or width of the adhesive material and / or of the adhesive device and / or of the carrier material offer scope for design. Furthermore, the adhesive material, in particular at least one adhesive device and / or at least one carrier material, can be formed completely or partially continuously or separately from the foam tape arrangement.
A component is, for example, a frame base body (not the sash) of a window or door or a component such as a beam. Wooden, aluminum and plastic windows and doors are commonly used on the market. Other elements are often attached to it, such as an aluminum shell or aluminum cladding in the case of wooden or plastic windows or guide rails for roller shutters or mosquito nets, top-mounted roller shutter boxes and the like. The invention is suitable for both inside and outside joints. A mutual sealing arrangement creates an overall seal between the component and the building wall. The inside sealing arrangement and the outside sealing arrangement can contain identical or different foam tape arrangements. These features, individually or in combination, as well as in combination with all features disclosed in this application with regard to the profile connection strip and in particular with regard to the connection device and the foam tape arrangement, provide an overall seal according to the invention.
The profile connection strip is preferably arranged or attached to an inside or outside of the component or an additional element of the component and / or the foam tape arrangement lies on a section of the component (rear or circumferential side of the component) facing a component fastening joint or a building wall or a component towards sealingly arranged additional element of the component, which can also be a further profile connection strip, on or is attached to it.
The invention is also suitable for the joints of elements that are assigned to a component and thus directly or indirectly connected to the component, in particular screwed or glued, such as window plates and their side pieces, aluminum shells or aluminum cladding for wooden or plastic windows or guide rails for Roller shutters or mosquito nets, top-mounted roller shutter boxes and the like.
Furthermore, the profile connection strip, in particular the intermediate layer or the foam tape, can have an optical identifier, in particular a specific color, so that handling is easier when selecting the correct profile connection strip. In this way, confusion between the different profile connection strips, especially when handling by auxiliary personnel, is avoided and the sealing of the joints is technically correct.
The profile connection strip is z. B. used on the surface of a wall, for example when transitioning from exposed concrete or an existing plaster layer to a window. The attachment and / or sealing to the surface of the wall is preferably carried out by means of an already described adhesive material or sealing compound or the profile connection strip is embedded in the surface of the wall, such as. B. in plaster, thermal insulation composite systems, drywall, tiles, sheet metal and the like.
The profile connection strip is made, for example, of metal or plastic or other known profile material. The profile connection strip or the foam tape is preferably made of plastic. Among the plastics, polyvinyl chloride, polyolefin, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and polyurethane are particularly preferred. The cross-section of the plastic portion of the profile connection strip remains the same over its length, so that the profile connection strip can be manufactured inexpensively in the extrusion process.
The profile connection strip is, for example, in one part or in several parts and in particular in two parts. The profile connection strip is, for example, a plaster profile, reveal connection profile, plaster end profile, drywall profile, end profile, tile profile or spatula profile.
Profile parts such as a plaster pull-off edge, a plaster leg, a pull-off strip, a soft lip, an ETICS fabric or a fastening base for a protective film, also as a pull-off strip with adhesive device, are preferably provided on the profile connection strip.
