Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a contact system comprising an electrical welding contact element and a further contact part as well as a method for producing the contact system consisting of the electrical welding contact element and the further contact part, in particular a flat contact or a contact tongue of a flat contact grid.
  • a plurality of contact parts are known, which are intended to be used as a plug contact.
  • at least one region of the contact element is designed as a pin or as a spring socket for receiving a mating contact.
  • a contact element is formed integrally with a spring over.
  • Such over-spring can be produced with the contact element in one go as a one-piece punched / bent part by punching and bending of a sheet metal strip, so that a separate production of the over-spring and their mounting and securing on the base part is omitted. It is also to be considered that in the one-piece production material can be saved, since in a two-part production, even with regard to the punching residues more material is consumed.
  • welding methods such as conventional arc welding methods, ultrasonic welding, laser welding methods or friction welding methods can be considered as joining methods.
  • the problem comes to light that the contact pairs, which is to be connected to each other, must be brought into a defined exact position to each other and if necessary, held by means of holding or auxiliary devices in this position for the duration of the welding process.
  • the special geometry of the contact pairs further complicates the contact in the process. For example, in the automotive industry in the manufacture of electrical connections or cable harnesses flat contacts or entire rows of flat contacts must be applied to corresponding contacts.
  • a device by which a pair of components can be fixed so as to attach a welded joint by means of a laser.
  • the device is designed to be transmissive at least in the spectrum of the light emitted by the laser, so that a laser beam passes through the device onto the component. Therefore, a large coverage of the component by bearing surfaces of the device, as required to achieve an optimal fixation, does not interfere with the implementation of the welding process. Performing a welding process also requires regular monitoring of the quality of the welded joint. It is therefore desirable to provide a method which eliminates the need for a device as exemplified above and completely avoids the problem of fixing the components by means of a device while at the same time achieving high positional and positional accuracy and process reliability.
  • Object of the present invention is therefore to overcome relievetike problems and disadvantages and to provide an electrical contact system of two contact parts to be joined together, in particular of SchurgiflachAuthiser kind, which makes an auxiliary device for secure mounting of the contact parts dispensable. It is a further object of the present invention to provide a method for producing such a contact system.
  • the basic idea of the present invention is to precede the actual material-locking connection process by a mechanical prefixing process and to design the contact elements to be connected so that the one contact element can be brought together with the latter into a defined preassembly position by means of a encompassing, displaceable fixing element on the other contact element ,
  • the first contact element, preferably flat contact element is so to speak displaceable on the second contact element and applied this encompassing, so that the weld connection sections to be joined together are arranged one above the other and accessible for the welding process.
  • the interaction of a catch lens with a trough and the embrace by embracing support arms, a clearly defined position can be determined.
  • an electrical contact system consisting of a first contact element with a (preferably flat) first welded connection section and a second contact element with a (preferably also flat) second weld connection section is proposed in order to connect the two weld connection sections in touching contact and material fit, wherein the first Contact element adjacent to the first Sch spatagensabterrorism a, preferably two Fixing arms exhibiting, more preferably bent U-shaped fixing member and indeed for encompassing holding and fixing a holding portion of the second contact element and wherein the second contact element adjacent to the holding portion adjacent to the second Sch spatagensabrough so that, in the prefixed state for the welding process, the two Sch spatagensabroughe contacting each other and the two fixing arms preferably extend around the side edges of the welded connection section around a bending angle of about 180 ° (between 170 ° to 190 °).
  • the second contact element is provided with a welding tip on the upper side of the second welded connection section to be welded, so that a targeted selective introduction of energy can be achieved.
  • such an electrical contact system is also proposed in which the two contact elements are connected to one another in a material-locking manner, preferably in the region of the welded connection sections.
  • the electrical contact system is designed such that, at the first welding connection section of the first contact element, crimp connection tongues or a crimp connection contour for connecting a line are formed integrally with the contact element. It is particularly advantageous if the first contact element is produced in one piece by means of a stamped and bent process and a crimp connection is formed on the flat contact, wherein the fixing element according to the invention is formed on the end of the flat contact opposite the crimp connection.
  • first welded connection section of the first contact element has an upper side and an underside opposite the upper side, designed as a welded connection side, and / or if the corresponding second welded connection section of the second contact element has a lower side and an upper side opposite the underside and designed as a welded connection side having.
  • the two fixing arms extend below the surface of the underside formed by the first welded connection section with their front ends toward one another and at least partially parallel to the underside (as a curved U-hook).
  • the electrical contact system is thus characterized in that the two fixing arms each have a curved along an opposite curved path intermediate portion between the connection portion and the ends.
  • the length of the respective curve section corresponds to the height of the second contact element in the region of the corresponding holding section corresponds to the distance of the two inner sides of the curve sections approximately the width of the second contact element in the region of the corresponding holding section.
  • a set of a plurality of electrical contact systems with in the same number arranged in series first and second contact elements is also proposed, wherein the second contact elements are preferably formed from a stamped grid with a defined punched grid spacing.
  • the Figures 1 and 2 each show a perspective view of a first embodiment of an inventive electrical contact system 1 of a contact element 10 and a contact element 20 for producing a contact system according to the invention 1.
  • the electrical contact system 1 accordingly consists of the first contact element 10 which is formed with a welded connection portion 11 and the second Contact element 20, which is also formed with a weld connection portion 21.
  • the two welded connection sections 11, 21 are designed to be brought into contact with one another and to be able to connect the contact elements 10, 20 to one another in a material-locking manner.
  • the first contact member 10 has a central flat portion forming the weld joint portion 11. Adjacent to the welded connection section 11, a double U-shaped resilient fixing element 12 is formed.
  • the fixing element 12 is designed in its dimension and shape so that it serves as intended for encompassing holding and fixing of the holding portion 22 of the second contact element 20. Therefore, the fixing member 12 forms two U-shaped bent fixing arms 12a, 12b with fixing arm ends 12e, which are (in the Fig. 2 ) extend "towards one another" below the second contact element 20.
  • the second contact element 20 forms a corresponding holding section 22 adjacent to the welded connection section 21 such that, in the state pre-fixed for the welding process, the two welded connection sections 11, 21 are in contact with each other.
  • a welding tip 23 or weld nugget is provided on the upper side 21a of the welded connection section 22 of the contact element 20 .
  • the respective two contact elements 10, 20 are materially connected to one another in the region of the welded connection sections 11, 21.
  • crimping terminal tongues 11a, 11b for connecting a lead 30 are formed integrally with the contact member 10.
  • the welded connection section 11 of the contact element 10 has an upper side 13a and an underside which is opposite to the upper side and designed as a welded connection side 13b. It can also be seen that the weld connection section 21 of the contact element 20 has a lower side 21b and an upper side 21a opposite the underside and designed as a welded connection side.
  • the two fixing arms 12a, 12b further have a U-shaped bent portion 12c, and further, following the bending portion 12c, the aforesaid end portion 12e is formed which extends in the direction of the opposite fixing arm 12a, 12b, respectively.
  • the height of the distance of the legs at the beginning and end of the respective bending section 12c in the present case corresponds approximately to the height of the second contact element 20 in the region of the corresponding holding section 22. Further, the distance between the two inner sides of the bending sections 12c is approximately equal to the width of the second contact element 20 in the area of the corresponding holding portion 22.
  • the welding connection portions white a substantially rectangular shape with a rectangular cross-section.
  • the provision of the contact elements 10 may preferably take place with a struck and crimped line 30.
  • the invention is not limited in its execution to the above-mentioned preferred embodiments. Rather, a number of variants is conceivable, which makes use of the illustrated solution even with fundamentally different types of use.
