In der Fig. 1 ist ein Rahmen 2 mit einem darin angeordneten Riegelmechanismus 3 eines Gurtschlosses und eine Gurtzunge 1 einer Sicherheitsgurteinrichtung eines Kraftfahrzeuges zu erkennen. Der Riegelmechanismus 3 umfasst als Grundbauteile neben anderen für den Ver- und Entriegelungsmechanismus der Gurtzunge 1 wichtige Einzelteile eine Feder 13 und einen Riegel 7. Die Gurtzunge 1 umfasst neben einem Umlenkabschnitt 15 mit einer Durchführöffnung 14 für den Sicherheitsgurt der Sicherheitsgurteinrichtung eine Riegelplatte 5 mit einer Verriegelungsöffnung 6. Bei Einführen der Gurtzunge 1 mit der Riegelplatte 5 in einen Einführschlitz des Gurtschlosses wird der Riegel 7 durch einen im Stand der Technik bekannten und daher nicht näher beschriebenen Mechanismus aufgrund der von der Feder 13 ausgeübten Federkraft verschwenkt und gelangt dadurch in Eingriff in die Verriegelungsöffnung 6 der Riegelplatte 5, so dass die Gurtzunge 1 anschließend zugfest an dem Gurtschloss gehalten ist. Die Gehäusehälfte weist eine Struktur aus Gehäusekanten und vorstehenden Domen auf, welche das Einlegen des Rahmens 2 mit dem darin angeordneten Riegelmechanismus 3 in ausschließlich einer Position ermöglicht, in der das Einlegeteil 8 mit dem Dämpfungsabschnitt 10 die Ausnehmung 9 des Rahmens 2 durchgreift. Beim Einführen der Gurtzunge 1 in den Einführschlitz des Gurtschlosses wird der Riegel 7 unterstützt durch die Federkraft der Feder 13 verschwenkt und gelangt dabei in Eingriff in die Verriegelungsöffnung 6 der Riegelplatte 5. Das Einlegeteil 8 ist derart angeordnet, dass der Dämpfungsabschnitt 10 eine zu erwartende Auftrefffläche des Riegels 7 auf der Innenseite der Gehäusehälfte abdeckt, so dass der Riegel 7 in der Endphase der Schwenkbewegung mit seinem stirnseitigen Endabschnitt in den weichen Dämpfungsabschnitt 10 eintaucht, wodurch die Geräusche einerseits in der Entstehung verringert werden und andererseits die Ausbreitung der noch verbleibenden Geräusche durch den weichen Werkstoff des Einlegeteils 8 zusätzlich gedämpft werden. Sofern der Riegel 7 mit einer anderen Fläche näher zu dem Gehäuse 4 bewegt wird und dort zur Anlage gelangen kann, könnte das Einlegeteil 8 bzw. die Weichschicht diesem Abschnitt des Gehäuses 4 zugeordnet werden, oder auch eine zusätzliche Weichschicht an einer anderen zweiten zu erwartenden Auftrefffläche des Gehäuses 4 vorgesehen sein.
