Abstract

The invention relates to a lamp for use in a lighting strip system which comprises a support rail (3), which extends along a longitudinal axis (L), and supply lines for supplying power to a light source of the lamp. The lamp has a first unit (1) for arrangement on the support rail (3) and for electrical contact to the supply lines, wherein the first unit (1) comprises an operating device (6) for supplying power to the light source of the lamp. The lamp also has a second unit (2) which comprises the light source. The lamp furthermore has a plug connection device, particularly having a first plug connection element (51) and a second plug connection element (52), via which the second unit (2) can be electrically connected to the first unit (1).
