Das Falzprodukt 2 mit dem angespendeten Etikett 3 wird in Förderrichtung R nachfolgend der Andruckvorrichtung 8 zugeführt. Dabei weist das Etikett 3 ein freies, nach vorne bzw. über die offene Seite des Falzproduktes 2 überstehendes Ende auf, das mit der Andruckvorrichtung 8 umgefaltet und angedrückt wird. Die Andruckvorrichtung 8 weist hierfür eine obere Andruckeinheit 11 und eine untere Andruckeinheit 12 auf. Die obere Andruckeinheit 11 umfasst zwei synchron laufende Scheiben 13, an denen eine Adapterplatte 14 derart angeordnet ist, dass die Adapterplatte 14 eine Kreisbewegung ausführt und dabei die Ausrichtung zur Förderrichtung R, nämlich parallel dazu, unverändert bleibt. An der Adapterplatte 14 ist eine Andruckplatte 15 schwenkbar um eine horizontal und quer zur Förderrichtung R ausgerichtete Achse 16 gelagert. Über eine Feder 17 ist die Andruckplatte 15 gegen einen Anschlag 18 vorgespannt, wobei die Feder 17 an einer ihrer Seiten mit der Adapterplatte 14 und an der anderen Seite mit der Andruckplatte 15 verbunden ist. wobei in einem ersten Betriebsmodus nach dem Spenden des Etiketts (3) ein über das Falzprodukt (2) überstehender Abschnitt des Etiketts (3) von der einen Andruckeinheit (11) umgeschlagen wird, bevor ein nach dem ersten Umschlagen weiterhin über das Falzprodukt (2) überstehender Abschnitt des Etiketts (3) mittels eines gleichgerichtet zur Förderrichtung (R) bewegten Teils (21) der anderen Andruckeinheit (12) weiter umgeschlagen und an das Falzprodukt (2) angedrückt wird,
und wobei in einem zweiten Betriebsmodus nach dem Spenden des Etiketts (3) ein über das Falzprodukt (2) überstehender Abschnitt des Etiketts (3) mittels der einen Andruckeinheit (11) umgeschlagen wird, bevor ein nach dem ersten Umschlagen weiterhin über das Falzprodukt (2) überstehender Abschnitt des Etiketts (3) mittels des stillstehenden oder entgegen der Förderrichtung (R) bewegten Teils (21) der anderen Andruckeinheit (12) weiter umgeschlagen und an das Falzprodukt (2) angedrückt wird.Method for operating a labeling device (1) having a label dispenser (7) with a pressure device (8) comprising two separately motor-driven pressure units (11, 12), further comprising a transport system (4) on which to be labeled folded products (2 ) are transported in a conveying direction (R),
