Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe gelöst durch eine Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 und ein Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Vorrichtung zum Aufrichten ausgestreckte Materialzuschnitte mit vorbereiteten Biegekanten und mit Klebstoff versehenen zu fügenden Flächen, einzeln bereitgestellt sind. Jeder Materialzuschnitt wird derart an Aufrichtelementen der Vorrichtung vorbeigeführt, dass sich dessen Seitenwände bildenden Bereiche gegenüber einem Bodenbereich aufrichten und der Materialzuschnitt zu einem einseitig offenen Hohlkörper geschlossen wird. Dazu sieht die Vorrichtung eine erste Transporteinrichtung vor, welche den bereitgestellten Materialzuschnitt erfasst und gegen die durch das aufrichten wirkenden Kräfte an den Aufrichtelementen der Vorrichtung entlang und in einen an diese Aufrichtelemente anschließenden Schacht der Vorrichtung transportiert. In einfacher Weise ist diese erste Transporteinrichtung als ein auf den Bodenbereich des Materialzuschnitts respektive Hohlkörpers wirkender Stempel gestaltet.
Der innere Querschnitt des Schachtes entspricht den Außenabmessungen der Hohlkörper, so dass Elemente des Schachtes die durch das Aufrichten geschlossenen Kanten des Hohlkörpers geschlossen halten. Dadurch wird der Hohlkörper in seiner Form gehalten, so lange er sich in dem Schacht befindet. Dieser ist so lang gestaltet, dass er mehrere hintereinander angeordnete Hohlkörper gleicher Bodenfläche aufnehmen kann, so dass sich die Verweildauer jedes Hohlkörpers in dem Schacht entsprechend verlängert. Dadurch verlängert sich auch die Zeitspanne, in der die verklebten Flächen derart stabilisiert werden, dass ein Verschieben der Klebeflächen zueinander oder gar ein Öffnen der Verklebungen sicher vermieden werden. Diese Aushärtezeit, in der die Verklebungen vor Belastung geschützt sind ergibt sich aus der Produktionsleistung der Vorrichtung und der Länge des Schachtes. Erfindungsgemäß umfasst der Schacht wenigstens eine weitere Transporteinrichtung, welche den Vorschub der aufgenommenen Hohlkörper innerhalb des Schachtes in dessen Längsrichtung sicherstellt, wobei die Hohlkörper stets zueinander beabstandet sind. Damit wird ein unbeabsichtigtes Verkleben der Hohlkörper miteinander auch bei ggf. herausquellenden Klebstoffresten verhindert und ein Leeren des Schachtes auf einfache Weise ermöglicht. Wenigstens ein Transportelement der Transporteinrichtung erfasst dabei eine der durch das Aufrichten verklebten Kanten oder dieser benachbarte Flächen derart in einer Nut des Transportelementes, dass das Transportelement den Hohlkörper förderwirksam erfasst und selbst die Kante geschlossen hält. Auf diese Weise kann die Konstruktion des Schachtes mit dessen wenigstens einer Transporteinrichtung sehr kompakt und einfach gehalten werden, und Relativbewegungen zwischen der verklebten Kante und dem diese geschlossen haltenden Element während des Vorschubes des Hohlkörpers und damit Beschädigungen des Hohlkörpers werden vermieden. In vorteilhafter Gestaltung der Vorrichtung ist jeder durch das Aufrichten verklebten Kante des Hohlkörpers eine Transporteinrichtung mit jeweils diese zugeordnete Kante geschlossen haltendem Transportelement vorgesehen, wodurch alle verklebten Kanten in gleicher Weise zum Aushärten fixiert werden. Darüber hinaus wirken somit sämtliche Haltekräfte der Transporteinrichtungen unmittelbar stabilisierend auf alle Klebestellen.
