Definitions

  • the present invention relates to light emitting modules, and more particularly to modules in which the light source is a light emitting diode.
  • Such diodes are carried by a printed circuit board which allows the transmission of the control instructions for switching on and off the diode by an on-board control module.
  • these printed circuit boards are mounted on support means capable of dissipating, in particular by appropriate ribbing, the significant thermal radiation specific to the operation of the light-emitting diodes.
  • the light emitting module is arranged so that the diode emits light towards a collector whose arrangement and coating allows reflection of the rays so that they leave the light emitting module according to a desired transmission axis.
  • the collector may be substantially elliptical and the diode placed at its first focus so that a lens placed at the second focus allows the output of light rays parallel to the optical axis of the assembly.
  • the diode is a point source of light, that is to say that it emits in a precise beam, some rays are emitted with an angular dispersion and it is impossible to ensure that the reflection in the collector of these scattered rays leads to an emission output along said desired axis.
  • the emission modules it is known to use a concealer, that is to say a concealed cover which directly blocks the scattered light rays at the output of the diode. It is appropriate in these modules to ensure the position of the concealer both with respect to the diode and with respect to the collector so that the concealer only blocks the scattered rays that can not be reflected correctly inside the module , and that it does not block other rays, which could decrease the photometric performance of the light emitting module.
  • the document EP2573456 A1 discloses a module light emission in which a shield is screwed onto the heat sink of the module.
  • the invention proposes a light emitting module in which the position of the occluder, and the means provided to ensure this position, are specific.
  • the invention proposes a light emitting module, comprising a light-emitting diode which is able to emit light rays in optical deflection means of a collector and which is carried by a printed circuit board, said module comprising a concealer arranged in the vicinity of the diode, for blocking rays emitted directly by said diode.
  • This module is remarkable in that the collector comprises a fixing plate which allows in particular the attachment of the printed circuit board and the diode relative to the optical deflection means and the shield is held in position relative to the light emitting diode by clamping between the printed circuit board and the collector mounting plate.
  • fixing means which are particularly simple to implement, and which allow the occultor to be correctly positioned with respect to the collector and in particular the optical deflection means and with respect to the printed circuit board, and thus by compared to the diode.
  • these optical deflection means are reflecting surfaces, for example a support coated with a layer of reflective material.
  • the reflective surface can thus be obtained by aluminizing a support, for example a plastic support.
  • the concealer comprises a securing frame to the collector and an occulting wall of the light rays emitted by said light-emitting diode, the concealer being sandwiched between the printed circuit board and the fixing plate of the light-emitting diode. manifold in the area of the attachment frame.
  • the occultation wall which extends to the right of the diode and which forms the main blocking wall of scattered light rays, does not participate in the fixing of the occulter. In this way, the occultation function is optimized.
  • the attachment frame comprises three uprights, among which a central upright on either side of which lateral uprights are arranged.
  • the frame may further comprise indexing fins, which may in particular be arranged at the free end of the lateral uprights when the frame has.
  • indexing fins which may in particular be arranged at the free end of the lateral uprights when the frame has.
  • the occluder may be a folded part, formed of a metal sheet.
  • the occluder may have a thickness of between 0.3 and 0.5 mm.
  • the blackout can be covered on its inner face facing the diode, a black matte coating.
  • a light emitting module 2 comprises a collector 4, a printed circuit board 6 carrying a light-emitting diode 8 and an associated radiator 10 for cooling the printed circuits.
  • This module further comprises a concave 12 arranged next to the diode.
  • the collector 4 comprises optical deflection means and a fixing plate 16 made integral with these optical deflection means and which allows in particular the attachment of the radiator, the printed circuit board and the diode relative to the optical deflection means.
  • the optical deflection means take the form of a substantially elliptical wall 18 delimited in a vertical and longitudinal plane (that is to say in the plane of the representation of the figure 2 ) by an upper edge 20 secured to the fixing plate, and by a free lower edge 22.
  • the elliptical wall has a reflective inner surface to achieve the deviation of light rays emitted.

  • the pin 46 is adapted to serve as a support for the printed circuit board carried by the radiator.
  • the light-emitting diode 8 is carried by the printed circuit board 6, and the latter is mounted relative to the collector so that the diode is in line with the optical deflection means, in the vicinity of the focus of the first reflector.
  • the light rays emitted by the diode are mainly directed inside the means of optical ray deflection.
  • the diode is positioned at a sufficient distance from the collector to avoid the formation of an electric arc, which can be formed when a light emitting diode is too close to an aluminized surface.
  • the printed circuit board 6 comprises a series of electrical circuits and a control module, said electrical circuits being able to transmit to the diode ignition control or extinguishing instructions.
  • the plate comprises five through holes, among which a first hole 48 and a second hole 50 of a first diameter, substantially equal to the diameter of the indexing studs 44, a third hole 52 and a fourth hole 54 of a second sufficiently large diameter. to allow the passage of a peripheral fixing screw 55, and a fifth hole 56 which is arranged in the center of the plate and which has an oblong shape. This fifth hole allows the passage of a central fixing screw 57 of the plate on the radiator.
  • the radiator which has substantially a parallelepiped shape, has, on one of these faces, a support face 58 of the printed circuit board 6. This is pressed against the radiator via the central fastening screw 57.
  • a central threaded bore 60 made in the thickness of the radiator from the support face 58 as visible on the figure 2 , allows to receive this screw.
  • the radiator also plays a role in plating the printed circuit board on the collector and for this purpose it comprises two peripheral threaded bores, not visible in the figures, suitable for extend facing fixing lugs 30 when the radiator is attached to the plate, and two straight bores not threaded, also not visible, each respectively disposed next to one of the peripheral threaded bores.
  • the peripheral tapped bores are adapted to receive the peripheral fixing screws and that the right bores are able to receive the indexing pads 44.
  • the radiator 10 has grooves 64 which function as heat exchangers to allow cooling of the printed circuit board and the associated diode.
  • the occluder 12 comprises a frame 66 and an occultation wall 68 substantially perpendicular to the frame.
  • the frame is formed by three uprights, including a central base upright 70 which is extended at each of its lateral ends by lateral uprights 72 which each form an angle of approximately 45 ° with the base upright.
  • the lateral uprights carry indexing vanes 74 which extend perpendicularly to the frame, so as to be substantially parallel to the concealment wall.
  • These fins are pierced at their center and the resulting pair of holes 76 form complementary fastening means of the barrels 38 of the manifold so as to form a male and female fastener assembly.
  • the attachment zone is offset transversely on either side of the occultation zone, located more centrally to be opposite the diode.
