Generic baby and toddler wear have long been known and available in various configurations. If no further measures are taken, there is the problem that a baby and toddler stretcher is suitable for only a relatively small size interval of the baby or toddler. To overcome this problem, baby and toddler carriers have already been proposed, for example, in which the beanbag can be extended upward by detachable elements in order, as it were, to "grow along" with the baby or toddler.

However, it has been found that an extension of the bean bag upwards solves the problem only partially, since the "seat width" does not grow with an extension of the bean bag. If two additional elements are provided, then they must each be detachable on the bean bag as well as releasably be arranged on the hip belt. As fasteners and counter-fastening elements all types of fasteners and counter-fastening elements are used, in particular push-button pairs, Velcro pairs, hook and loop fasteners, buttons and buttonholes and zippers.
