Claims (9)

  1. Small child and baby carrier, comprising:
    a waist strap (10),
    a carry bag (20) extending from a lower end (22) that is connected to the waist strap (10) to an upper end region (24) with a bottom section (23) adjacent to the lower end (22) and an upper body section (25) extending upward from the bottom section (23), and
    two shoulder straps (30, 30') which extend from the upper end region of the carry bag (20),
    wherein the small child and baby carrier furthermore comprises an extension element (40) detachably connectable to the upper end region (24) of the carry bag (20) between the two should straps (30, 30'), which extension element (40) extends the upper body section (25) in upward direction when in use, wherein holding straps (44, 44'), which can respectively be connected to a shoulder strap (30, 30'), extend from the two upper side regions of the extension element, wherein
    the extension element comprises a flat basic body (41),
    characterized in that the extension element (40) comprises additional fastening elements for attaching a sun protection.
  2. Small child and baby carrier according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one fastening element is provided in the upper end region (24) of the carry bag (20) and that at least one counter fastening element is provided in a lower end region of the extension element (40) for detachable connection.
  3. Small child and baby carrier according to claim 2, characterized in that the at least one fastening element is located inside a pocket (26).
  4. Small child and baby carrier according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterized in that the fastening unit, composed of the fastening element and the counter fastening element, is embodied as a hook-and-loop fastener.
  5. Small child and baby carrier according to claim 3 and 4, characterized in that the at least one fastening element is a hook element (28).
  6. Small child and baby carrier according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two holding straps (44, 44') are respectively provided with a connecting pair.
  7. Small child and baby carrier according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the flat basic body (41) of the extension element (40) has a high inherent stiffness.
  8. Small child and baby carrier according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the extension element comprises a bolster (43).
  9. Small child and baby carrier according to claim 8, characterized in that the bolster (43) comprises two side legs.
