Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Beuteln für Tabak, wobei die Beutel eine Tasche zum Aufnehmen eines Beutelinhalts aufweisen, und wobei die Tasche durch seitliche Nähte begrenzt ist, und wobei die Tasche eine Öffnung zum Zuführen bzw. zum Entnehmen des Beutelinhalts aufweist, und wobei die Öffnung durch eine Beutellasche des Beutels verschließbar ist, und wobei am Beutel durch Klebung wenigstens ein gesonderter Zuschnitt angebracht wird, insbesondere ein Tape zum Fixieren der Beutellasche in einer Schließstellung am Beutel oder eine Banderole, wobei der Zuschnitt in einem ersten Schritt mit einem ersten Abschnitt am Beutel angebracht wird und dass danach in einem zweiten Schritt ein zweiter Abschnitt des Zuschnitts einer gekrümmten Kontur des Beutels folgend gegen diesen gedrückt und an diesem angebracht wird, gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Apparatus for carrying out the method according to one of the preceding Claims 1 to 14, for producing pouches (10) for tobacco, wherein the pouches (10) have a pocket (11) for accommodating a pouch contents, and wherein the pocket is bounded by lateral seams (14, 15), and wherein the pocket (11) has an opening for supplying or for removing the pouch contents, and wherein the opening is closable by a pouch flap (16), and wherein at least one separate blank can be attached to the pouch (10) by adhesive bonding, in particular a tape (19) for securing the pouch flap to the pouch (10) in a closed position, or a wrap-around label (21), characterized by at least one means for attaching the blank, with a first number of a packaging machine, by means of which the blank can be attached in a first step with a first portion (23) to the pouch (10), and with a second member of the packaging machine, by means of which, in a second step, a second portion (25) of the blank can be pressed against the pouch (10) in a manner corresponding to the curved contour thereof and can be attached to said pouch, and with an application drum (30) with which the blank, in particular the tape (19), can be attached with the first portion (23) to the pouch flap (16) in such a manner that the second portion (25) projects beyond an edge (24) of the pouch flap (16), and wherein the first portion (23) can be attached in the region of a large side surface of the pouch (10) and the second portion (25) can be guided into the region of an opposite side surface and can be attached there.
