Claims (8)

  1. A strainer (1), in particular for fascia gullies,
    - with a trap basket (2) having a pot-shaped design and a circumferential supporting edge (3), and
    - with a retention device (4) arranged at the trap basket (2) and having retention arms (5, 6) movable between a retention position and a release position,
    wherein the retention device (4) is a separate assembly connectable with the trap basket (2) having a rotatable actuating element (7) connectable with a gearing arrangement (8),
    - wherein the retention device (4) is height adjustable,
    characterised in that,
    - for height adjustability of the retention device (4), this is provided with at least one interlock (26) at a retention plate (28) of the actuating element (7), wherein the interlock (26) interacts with a complementarily designed interlock (27) of the trap basket (2), wherein the complementary interlock (27) of the trap basket (2) is arranged on at least one rib (18) of the trap basket (2),
    - wherein the actuating element (7) is pressable, so that the retention plate (28) of the actuating element (7), preloaded under spring preload in an engaging position of the interlocks (26, 27), can be pushed away, so that the interlocks (26, 27) detach from one another and thus the retention device (4) is adjustable corresponding to the height adjustability.
  2. The strainer according to claim 1, characterised in that the gearing arrangement (8) has a pin (10), connectable with the actuating element (7), provided with a driving worm (9), and tooth sections (11) engageable with the driving worm (9), arranged at the retention arms (5, 6).
  3. The strainer according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the actuating element (7) is provided with a, preferably spring-loaded, locking device (22).
  4. The strainer according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that at least two retention arms (5, 6) are provided, arranged at any distance, in particular of 180 °, to one another.
  5. The strainer according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the retention arms (5, 6) are provided with adhesive coatings (15, 16) at their free ends.
  6. The strainer according to claim 5, characterised in that the adhesive coatings (15, 16) are clipped onto the free ends of the retention arms (5, 6).
