Claims (10)

  1. Outer door handle assembly (1) for a vehicle door (30) of a vehicle, comprising
    - a door handle (10),
    - a bearing support (20), and
    - a hinge assembly (30) with a pivot pin (31) and a guiding groove (32) receiving said pivot pin (31) for a pivotable connection of the door handle (10) with the bearing support (20), wherein for pivoting the door handle (10) from a resting position (I) into a swing-out position (II), the pivot pin (31) supported in the guiding groove (32) forms a pivot axis of the door handle (10),
    characterised in that the contoured surfaces (31a, 32a, 32b) of the pivot pin (31) and of the guiding groove (32), which are in operative connection and which determine the pivoting movement of the door handle (10), are formed with a fit in such a way that in the swing-out position (II) of the door handle (10), a clearance fit is present, which during a pivoting movement into the resting position (I) merges from a transition fit into an interference fit.
  2. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) is formed with an elliptic cross section, wherein the lateral surface thereof is in operative connection as a contoured surface (31a) with surfaces extending in parallel as the contoured surfaces (32a, 32b) of the guiding groove (32).
  3. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that for creating the clearance, transition and interference fits, the pivot pin (31) is disposed in such a way that during pivoting of the door handle (10) from the swing-out position (II) into the resting position (I) thereof, the length of the chord (S) of the elliptic cross-sectional shape of the pivot pin (31) increases between the contact regions (K1a, K1b, K2a, K2b) of the contoured surfaces (31a, 32a, 32b).
  4. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the flat contoured surfaces (32a, 32b) of the guiding groove (32) extend in the longitudinal direction (x direction of the vehicle) of the vehicle when the door handle (10) is in its resting position (I).
  5. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) is connected to the door handle (10).
  6. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) is connected to the support bearing (20) and, for forming the guiding groove (32) with flat contoured surfaces (32a, 32b) of the door handle (10), has a bearing yoke (12) on the end side thereof.
  7. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) is formed with a polygon-shaped cross section, the lateral surface of which as a contoured surface (31a) is in operative connection with surfaces extending in parallel as the contoured surfaces (32a, 32b) of the guiding groove (32).
  8. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 7, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) is disposed in such a way that during pivoting of the door handle (10) from the swing-out position (II) into the resting position (I), the length of the chord (S) of the polygon-like cross-sectional shape of the pivot pin (31) between the contact regions (K1a, K1b, K2a, K2b) of the contoured surfaces (31a, 32a, 32b) increases starting from a chord (S1) having a length that creates the clearance fit to a chord (S2) having a length that creates the interference fit.
  9. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 8, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) is connected to the support bearing (20) and, for forming the guiding groove (32) with the flat contoured surfaces (32a, 32b), the door handle (10) has a support yoke (12) on the end side thereof, wherein the support yoke (12) and the pivot pin (31) are aligned to each other in such a way that in the resting position (I) of the door handle (10), the chord (S2) that creates the interference fit is generated between the contact regions (K1a, K1b, K2a, K2b) of the contoured surfaces (31a, 32a, 32b).
  10. The outer door handle assembly (1) as claimed in claim 8 or 9, characterised in that the pivot pin (31) and the contoured surfaces (32a, 32b) are aligned to each other in such a way that in the swing-out position (II) of the door handle (10), the contoured surfaces (32a, 32b) of the support yoke (12) extend, in the assembled condition, substantially in the longitudinal direction (x direction) of the vehicle, and in the course of this the chord (S1) that generates the clearance fit is generated between the contact regions (K1a, K1b, K2a, K2b) of the contoured surfaces (31a, 32a, 32b).
