Description

The present invention relates to a refrigeration unit which is used to hold and present goods to be cooled, preferably food, which has a receiving space for goods and at least one door, for example in the form of a sliding or pivoting door, which is positioned between an open and a The closed position is movable, for example displaceable or pivotable, so that the receiving space is accessible from the outside, includes.

Entsprechende Kühlmöbel sind beispielsweise in der US 2008/148753 A1 , oder der JP 2005 207680 A beschrieben.Corresponding refrigeration units are for example in the US 2008/148753 A1 , or the JP 2005 207680 A described.

The refrigeration unit is characterized in that one or more light guide elements are arranged in the area below and / or above the door, which are in operative connection with at least one light source and are visible from the outside.

The light guide element can be formed, for example, by a glass or plexiglass plate, which closes the product display furniture, for example, at least partially towards the top. In this case, the plate has at least one front face (= light exit surface), via which the light introduced with the help of the light source (e.g. one or more LEDs), preferably from below or behind, via a light coupling surface again from the Plate can leak. As a result, an appropriately equipped and inventive refrigeration cabinet has a front view for the customer visible light band, the color of which depends, for example, on the presented goods can be selected (e.g. blue for fish products or yellow for fruit).

Furthermore, it is provided that the shortest distance between the mentioned light coupling surface and the light exit surface is dimensioned such that the light emitted by the individual LEDs is within the light guide element, i. h before exiting it, cuts. In this case, the light does not emerge from the light guide element in the form of individual points of light or lines of light. Rather, it is ensured that the light emitted by the LEDs merges and forms a light band with a light coupling-out surface configured in a correspondingly linear manner.

It is also advantageous if the light coupling surface has a lower surface roughness than the light exit surface. In particular, the last-mentioned surface should be roughened or matted in order to effect light scattering of the light emerging from the light-guiding element.

It is advantageous if the glass or Plexiglas plate closes the refrigeration unit at least partially at the top. For example, it would be conceivable that the glass or Plexiglas plate forms a ceiling area of the product presentation furniture, so that the light emerging from the glass or Plexiglas plate is visible in the upper area of the refrigerated cabinet and forms an upper end of the same.

In particular, it is also advantageous if the door is mounted in its upper area directly via a hinge, for example via a pivot pin, in a shelf or some other upper and preferably flat closing element of the refrigeration unit. It is also advantageous here if the light-guiding element is formed by the shelf or the upper closing element or an intermediate element arranged between the door and the shelf or between the door and the closing element.

In addition or as an alternative, one or more corresponding light guide elements can of course also be placed in the lower or side area of the refrigerated cabinet.

It is also possible for the door to be guided over a bolt in its upper area. This bolt preferably has a smooth surface over which it is guided in a corresponding guide of the refrigerated cabinet. The guide can e.g. B. be formed by an opening, preferably a bore, of a transparent or at least partially transparent upper holding element of the refrigeration unit. It is conceivable, for example, that a horizontally or slightly inclined glass plate or a plate made of another transparent material is arranged in the upper area, which has the bores mentioned and through which the upper bolts of the corresponding doors extend.

Gleichartige Bauteile sind in den einzelnen Figuren mit denselben Bezugszeichen versehen, wobei in den Figuren 1 bis 3 gleichartige Elemente aus Gründen einer besseren Übersichtlichkeit stets nur einmal mit einem Bezugszeichen versehen sind (beispielsweise besitzen die in den Figuren 1 bis 3 gezeigten Kühlmöbel 10 offensichtlich mehrere Türen 3 mit daran befestigten Griffen 11).Similar components are provided with the same reference numerals in the individual figures, with Figures 1 to 3 Similar elements are always provided with a reference number only once for the sake of clarity (for example, those in FIGS Figures 1 to 3 The refrigeration cabinet 10 shown obviously has several doors 3 with handles 11) attached thereto.

A refrigeration unit 10 is described, which therefore has a corresponding refrigerant circuit, but which is in the Figures 1 to 3 , which show corresponding refrigeration units 10, is not shown for reasons of clarity.

Figure 4 shows a detail of a partially sectioned side view of a refrigerated cabinet 10 with a frame 2, a door 3 which closes a receiving space 7 and which can be opened or closed about a horizontal axis of rotation and with several shelves 4.

Figure 4 also shows that the door 3 can generally be mounted in its upper area directly via a hinge 1, for example via a pivot pin, in a shelf 6 or some other upper closing element (which is preferably flat) of the refrigerated cabinet, the shelf 6 can in turn be made, at least for the most part, of glass or some other translucent material, so that when looking at the refrigeration unit, almost exclusively glass or light-transparent surfaces can be seen.

In general, it is conceivable in this context that the shelf 6 or an upper closing element or between the doors 3 and the shelf 6 or between the doors 3 and the closing element arranged intermediate element is formed light-conducting.

B. blaues Licht für Meeresfrüchte, grünes Licht für Gemüse, usw.).The corresponding light guide element 9 can for example be designed in the form of a plate and at least partially consist of glass or Plexiglas. If the light guide element 9, as in Figure 4 indicated, illuminated from behind with the aid of a light source 15 (for example one or more LEDs 8), the light is guided into the front part of the light guide element 9 that is visible to the customer. The result is from the front (in Figure 4 : from the left) a line-shaped light band visible to the customer, which can for example serve as an indicator for the goods stored in the refrigerated cabinet (e.g. blue light for seafood, green light for vegetables, etc.).

In addition or as an alternative, one or more light guide elements 9 can of course also be present in the area below the doors 3, which, viewed from the front, preferably also extend in the width direction of the refrigerator.

Figure 5 now shows a plan view of a light guide element 9 according to the invention. The plate-shaped light guide element 9 in the example shown is arranged adjacent to a multiplicity of LEDs 8 forming the light source 15 and has a light coupling surface 14 via which the light from the LEDs 8 in their operation (i.e. in the switched-on state) light emitted is coupled into the light guide element 9 (ie enters this).

There is also a light exit surface 5 via which the coupled-in light exits the light-guiding element 9 and is finally visible to the viewer. While the light coupling surface 14 should be designed to be as smooth as possible in order to avoid light loss, it has proven useful to roughen or mattify the light exit surface 5. As a result, the light is partially scattered when it emerges from the light guide element 9, so that forms a light band that is as homogeneous as possible in the area of the light exit surface 14.

To ensure that the light generated by the light source 15 is actually perceived by the viewer as a band of light and not as individual points of light, the shortest distance A between the light coupling surface 14 and the light exit surface 15 is dimensioned such that the light cones generated by the LEDs are arranged 12 or part of the emitted light rays 13 (in the Figures 6 and 7th only indicated schematically) cut between the light coupling surface 14 and light exit surface 15 at least in sections.

If this were not the case, then in the area of the light exit surface 15 areas would arise in which no light emerges from the light guide element 9. The light would be in this, in Figure 7 the case shown in the form of several points of light or lines of light.
