Claims (10)

  1. Cutting tool (1) for cutting a board (2), in particular a gypsum board, comprising an upper ruler (3) and an upper blade (4) movable in translation along said upper ruler (3) and configured, when it is placed flat on a board (2), to make a notch in the upper face of said board (2) along said upper ruler (3), further comprising a lower ruler (5), intended for, when said upper ruler (3) is arranged flat on a board (2) to be positioned under said board (2) in line with the upper ruler (3), and a lower blade (6) movable in translation along said lower ruler (5) and configured to make a notch above said lower ruler (5), and a motion transmission device (7) connecting the lower blade (6) to the upper blade (4), so that a translation of the upper blade (4) along the upper ruler (3) causes a translation of the lower blade (6) along the lower ruler (5), said motion transmission device (7) comprising a cable (8) connecting the lower blade (6) to the upper blade (4), and members for deflecting said cable (8), characterized in that said lower (6) and upper (4) blades are fixed with respect to said cable (8).
  2. Cutting tool (1) according to the previous claim, wherein said upper (4) and lower (6) blades are arranged so as to make notches on both sides of the board (2), so as to cut only a part of the thickness of said board (2).
  3. Cutting tool (1) according to one of the previous claims wherein said cable (8) comprises two parts arranged along the upper ruler (3) on the one hand and along the lower ruler (5) on the other hand and two parts connecting the upper ruler (3) to the lower ruler (5) these two parts being each arranged at one end of the tool (1), so that when the upper blade (4) makes a translation, the lower blade (6) makes a translation in opposite direction.
  4. Cutting tool (1) according to one of the previous claims, wherein said cable (8) comprises two parts arranged along the upper ruler (3) on the one hand and along the lower ruler (5) on the other hand and two parts connecting the upper ruler (3) to the lower ruler (5) these two parts being arranged on the side of a same end of the tool (1), so that when the upper blade (4) performs a translation, the lower blade (6) performs a translation in the same direction.
  5. Tool (1) according to one of the previous claims, wherein each blade is arranged on a blade carrier carriage (10), and the motion transmission device (7) comprises two parallel cables (8) connecting the lower blade (6) to the upper blade (4) through said blade carrier carriages, so as to improve the distribution of forces, and return members of said cables (8).
  6. Tool (1) according to one of the previous claims, comprising an elastic element, preferably a spring (11), disposed between the cable (8) and each of the upper and lower blades.
  7. Tool (1) according to one of the previous claims, wherein said upper blade (4) is integral with a handle (12) arranged on the upper ruler (3) in a manner accessible to an operator's hand.
  8. Tool (1) according to one of the previous claims, comprising adjusting means for adjusting the spacing between the upper and lower rulers.
  9. Tool (1) according to the previous claim, wherein said adjusting means comprises an adjusting wheel (13) and a compression spring (14).
  10. Tool (1) according to one of the previous claims, comprising a holding handle movable between a free position and a holding position, configured so that in the presence of a board (2), said board (2) is fixed with respect to the tool (1) in the holding position, and free with respect to the tool (1) in the free position.
