A disadvantage is the limited access to the fastening bolts during assembly, especially on the side of the toilet ceramic in all solutions. However, new designs provide closed toilet ceramics or toilet bodies, in which the Bolts and nuts are not accessible from the side but only from below; if any. This complicates the assembly.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to at least partially avoid these disadvantages and to provide a fastening device that is easier to install especially in toilets with laterally inaccessible mounting bolts, so laterally closed toilets.
