  • transverse reinforcement is the solution most often used. It allows the efficient use of the material with the arrangement of the elements (steel) with high strength and ductility.

  • the curvature can be obtained by a succession of point bends or by a constant bending radius, and straight zones can also be envisaged according to the static behavior of the system and the method of manufacturing the parts.

  • the goal in terms of strength is to exceed those of similar products (punching rebar systems) currently in the market.
  • This product could be used as a replacement for more efficient (and more expensive) products such as metal heads against punching.
  • Another objective of this product is to improve the deformation capacity of the slabs, similar to the raised bars. This will allow the use of this system as an integrity armature (reinforcement to prevent slab collapse after accidental punching).
