Description

The present invention relates to a slicing device which has a cutting knife which cuts off slices from the front end of a food product, a means transporting the food product in the direction of the cutting knife and in particular pressing it against a support and a gripper grasping the rear end of the product. Another object of the present invention is a method for slicing a food product which lies on a support, is transported in the direction of a cutting knife and the rear end of which is brought into contact with a gripper.

Derartige Aufschneidevorrichtungen bzw. Such slicing devices or methods are from the prior art, such as, for example DE-A-10 2008 020246 well known. In these slicing devices, a food product rests on a support and is transported in the direction of a moving, preferably rotating, cutting knife which cuts food slices from the front end of the food product. In this case, the food product is transported in the direction of the cutting knife by a means which is located above the food product, for example a belt, and / or is pressed against the support. Furthermore, the rear end of the food product is brought into engagement with a gripper before or during the cutting out, in particular to stabilize the food product when it has already been cut comparatively wide and / or to dispose of the remaining piece. However, the slicing devices according to the prior art have the disadvantage that the position of the gripper cannot be adapted to changing calibres of the food product and / or that the drive of the grippers is comparatively complex.

It was therefore the object of the present invention to provide a slicing device which does not have the disadvantages of the prior art.

The object is achieved with a slicing device according to claim 1.

The statements made in relation to this subject matter of the present invention apply equally to the other subjects of the present invention and vice versa.

The slicing device according to this object of the present invention has an endless belt which transports the food product in the direction of the cutting knife and presses it against the support on which the food product lies and is transported in the direction of the cutting knife. The food product is located between the endless belt and the support.

The endless belt lies against the food product before and / or at least temporarily during the slicing and presses it against the support and transports it in the direction of the cutting knife. The endless belt is preferably designed as a so-called traction belt, in particular as an endless traction belt, i.e. H. its surface facing the food product interacts with the endless belt in a frictional, positive and / or non-positive manner. According to the invention, the gripper is arranged on the endless belt, in particular the endless traction belt. The endless belt transports the gripper in the direction of the cutting knife and away from it. The gripper preferably follows the same path as the endless belt, at least substantially, preferably completely.

Furthermore, according to the invention, the position of the gripper is changeable relative to the endless belt. According to the invention, the gripper can be moved perpendicular to the transport direction of the endless belt, with a movement component in the direction of the support and away from it, i.e. preferably 90 ° to the transport direction of the endless belt.

The gripper is preferably fixed in its position relative to the endless belt until its position is again adapted to the next food product.

The slicing device according to the invention has the advantage that the position of the endless belt, which transports the food product in the direction of the cutting knife and presses it against a support, can be changed without changing the distance between the gripper and the support. Furthermore, the position of the gripper can be better adapted to the changing heights of the respective product.

The endless belt preferably has a first section which is arranged relatively close to the cutting knife and a second section which is provided further away from the cutting knife, the second section being provided at an angle to the first section. This angle increases the distance between the support and the upper endless belt as the distance from the cutting knife increases. When the slicing device is loaded with a new food product, the gripper is usually located in the second section and is therefore not in the way of loading or food products can also be cut that protrude beyond the position of the gripper. Only when the food product has been cut so far that its end is in front of the gripper is this moved in the direction of the rear end of the food product, catches up with the food product and is brought into contact with it.

The endless belt is preferably arranged above the food product such that it can be displaced at least in sections in the direction of the support. This preferred embodiment of the present invention has the advantage that the upper endless belt is only brought into contact with the food bar when this is necessary or that the position of the upper Endless belt can be adjusted to the height of the food product. For example, the endless belt can only be brought into contact with the food bar after or shortly thereafter, after the gripper has already been brought into engagement with the rear end of the food product. This embodiment has advantages in particular when the gripper is arranged on the upper endless belt and is moved from behind to the rear end of the food product.

A movable bearing, in particular an axial bearing, is preferably arranged between the gripper and the means. This floating bearing allows the distance between the endless belt and the gripper to be changed. After the gripper is in the desired position relative to the endless belt, it is preferably temporarily fixed in this position.

The endless belt preferably has a low-friction surface.

The statements made in relation to this subject matter of the present invention apply equally to the other subjects of the present invention and vice versa.

The endless belt is preferably located above the food product.

Due to the low-friction surface, the agent can rest on the food product and still be moved relative to it without it being damaged.

Noch ein weiterer Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 7.Yet another subject matter of the present invention is a method according to claim 7.

The statements made in relation to this subject matter of the present invention apply equally to the other subjects of the present invention and vice versa.

In the following, the inventions are based on the Figures 1-12 explained. These explanations are merely exemplary and do not restrict the general inventive concept. The explanations apply equally to all subjects of the invention.
Figures 1 - 11
show the device according to the invention and the process of slicing a food product.
Figure 12
shows the cutting of a long food product.

Figure 1 shows the slicing device according to the invention, in which a food bar 8 rests on a support 7 and is transported in the direction of a rotating cutting knife 3. The cutting knife, in the present case a circular knife, is arranged on a rotor 2, which drives the knife rotationally and at the same time rotates it along an orbit, so that the cutting knife cuts a slice from the food product with each revolution around the orbit and then releases the food product before the next slice is cut. The cut food slices then fall onto a support table (not shown). The thickness of the food slice corresponds to the advance of the food product 8 between two cuts. When cutting, the cutting knife 3 interacts with a cutting edge 4, which is preferably located at the front end of the support 7. Furthermore, the slicing device according to the invention has an upper means 6, an endless belt, preferably an endless traction belt, which presses the food product 8 against the support 7 and transports the food product 8 in the direction of the cutting knife 3. In the present case, the endless belt 6 has a first section 6.1, which is arranged closer to the cutting knife than a second section 6.2. The second section 6.2 is provided at an angle α relative to the first section. At least the first section 6.1 of the means 6 is preferably provided such that it can be moved in the direction of the support and away from it. As a result, the distance between the means 6 and the support can be changed, whereby e.g. B the pressing force of the means 6 on the food product is increased and / or the position of the means 6 can be adapted to the height of the product. According to the invention, a gripper 9, with which the rear end of the food product is gripped, is firmly connected to the upper means 6, here the endless belt. In the present case, the connection is made via a floating bearing 10.1, here a cylinder 10.1, which is firmly connected to the endless belt and takes part in its movements. The gripper 9 has a recess into which the cylinder 10.1 is inserted. The gripper 9 can be displaced in the axial direction of the cylinder 10.1 and relative to it, whereby the distance between the gripper 9 and the endless belt 6 is changed. The person skilled in the art understands that other means of linear displacement of the gripper are also possible. In the present case, the support 7 consists of two sections, the rear section 7.2. is preferably designed to be rotatable. For loading the device according to the invention with a new product, the rear section is preferably transferred into a lowered position and then raised again as soon as it has taken over the new food product. Both sections preferably each have a transport means, for example an endless belt, with which the food product is transported in the direction of the cutting knife. A gap is provided between the cutting edge 4 and the support 7, into which a slide, which acts as a stop, protrudes.

As soon as the food product 8 has been loaded onto the support 7, it is transported by the transport means of the support 7 in the direction of the cutting knife 3 until its front end rests against the stop 5. Then or at the same time, the gripper 9, as shown by the arrow, is transported in the direction of the rear end of the food product 8, in which the means 6, here an endless belt, moves clockwise turns (cf. Figure 2 ). As soon as the gripper 9 has caught up with the rear end of the food product 8 (cf. Figure 3 ), it is positively and / or non-positively connected to the food product. This is done, for example, in that claws (not shown) are inserted into the rear end of the food product and / or that the gripper 9 is attached to the rear end of the food product by vacuum. The endless belt 6, in particular its first section 6.1, is then moved in the direction of the support 7, which is symbolized by the arrow, in order to bring the endless belt into contact with the food product 8. The distance between the gripper 9 and the endless belt 6 is reduced, while the distance between the gripper and the support 7 remains constant. It can be clearly seen that the gripper moves along the cylinder 10.1. The gripper is then preferably fixed in its new position relative to the endless belt 6 (cf. Figure 4 ). The slide 5 is then removed, for example by moving it below the transport level of the support 7 (cf. Figure 5 ). The actual slicing process is in Figure 6 shown. The cutting knife 3 cuts food slices from the food product 8, which then fall onto a storage table (not shown) and are configured into portions there and then transported away. During the slicing, in particular towards the end of the slicing, the gripper 9 stabilizes the food product in its position between the support 7 and the endless belt 6. As soon as the food product has been cut open (cf. Figure 7 ) the distance between the endless belt 6 and the support 7 is increased again (cf. Figure 8 ), so that the endless belt 6 no longer rests against the remaining piece 8.1 of the food product. The remaining piece is then withdrawn by the gripper, which is symbolized by the arrow, until it is above a gap provided between the cutting edge and the support 7 (cf. Figure 9 ). The slide is then moved upwards again (cf. Figure 10 ) and the engagement between the gripper 9 and the remaining piece 8.1 is released, so that it slides along the slide 5 into the gap 11 and from there into a storage container (cf. Figure 11 ). Then the gripper is in its in Figure 1 The positions shown are withdrawn and the slicing of a new food product can begin.

Figure 12 shows the cutting out of a long food product 8, the rear end of which protrudes beyond the position of the gripper 9. The slicing device according to the invention is loaded with a new food product 8 via the loading rocker 7.2, which is brought into a horizontal position for loading. As soon as the food product is on the loading rocker 7.2, it is raised again and the food product is then transported in the direction of the cutting knife 3, which cuts the food product into food slices. Before or during the slicing, the distance between the endless belt 6 and the gripper 9 or between the support 7 and the gripper 9 is set, for example, according to the height of the product. As soon as the rear end of the food product is in front of the gripper 9 or as soon as the rear end of the food product 8 is below the section 6.1 of the endless belt 6 that is parallel to the support, the gripper 9 is brought into engagement with the rear end of the food product after the gripper has caught up with the food product. Otherwise, the statements according to Figures 1-11 Reference should be made, the slide 5 being located between the two sections 7.1 and 7.2 of the support 7 in the present case.
