Description

The invention relates to a cashbox comprising a receiving compartment for receiving a value note stack and a pressure unit for exerting a counter to a deposit direction of notes of value directed counter force against the recorded in the receiving compartment value note stack. The pressure unit is mounted on the housing of the cashbox via a bearing bearing a shaft, wherein the pressure unit moves in a first rotational direction relative to the housing in the depositing direction upon rotation of the shaft and wherein the pressure unit upon rotation of the shaft in one of the first directions of rotation opposite to the second direction of rotation relative to the housing moves against the storage direction. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for mounting a blocking element of a pressure unit of a cashbox.

In most common cash cassettes, the notes of value are added to their edges in the form of a value note stack. In order to prevent the notes of value from falling over and thus ensure secure delivery and / or removal of the notes of value, most cash cassettes have pressure units which exert counterforce directed counter to the feed direction of the notes so that the note stack is constantly held under tension and Thus, a predetermined position of the banknotes is respected. So that this is the case at each filling level of the cashbox, the pressure units are designed such that they are in the depositing direction and are movable counter to the storage direction within the cashbox, wherein the respective current position of the pressure unit depends on the level of filling the cashbox.

In most known cashbox, the pressure unit is moved by means of a motor. On the one hand, this has the disadvantage that such a motor requires space inside the cashbox and is cost-intensive, and, on the other hand, that a corresponding activation must be implemented.

In addition, cash boxes are known in which the pressure unit is designed such that the required counterforce is applied by means of a spring, wherein the spring can be arranged in particular within the pressure unit, whereby a particularly space-saving compact design is achieved. The problem with such biased on springs Andruckwagen is that at jerky loads, for example, when the cashbox is dropped, the Andruckwagen can inadvertently move in the storage direction, so that banknotes overturn and / or can tilt. This has the consequence that a secure deposit and withdrawal can no longer be guaranteed.

Cash cassettes with pressure units are for example from the documents DE 34 34 780 A1 . DE 36 50 412 T2 . DE 199 04 540 A1 . DE 10 2008 023 900 A1 and DE 42 00 186 C1 known. The document DE 10 2009 037 459 A1 describes a gravity-controlled locking of the lid of a cashbox.

From the document DE 295 03 364 U1 a cash box is known with a Andruckwagen for exerting a pressing force on the recorded in the receiving area notes of value. The Andruckwagen has a shaft on which a gear is rotatably mounted. Further, a pawl is provided, which is arranged in the horizontal orientation of the cashbox so that the shaft is rotatable in both directions. If the cashbox, however, inclined by a minimum angle relative to the horizontal, so engages a front tip of the pawl in the pawls of the ratchet wheel, so that it is only rotatable in one direction.

Das Dokument US 4,597,340 A beschreibt eine weitere Geldkassette mit einer Andruckeinheit zum Vorspannen der aufgenommenen Wertscheine. The document US 4,597,340 A describes another cashbox with a pressure unit for biasing the recorded notes of value.

It is an object of the invention to provide a cashbox, through which a reliable supply and removal of banknotes is guaranteed. It is another object of the invention to provide a method for mounting a locking element of a pressure trolley of a cashbox, through which a reliable reliable mounting of the locking element is achieved.

These objects are achieved by a cash box having the features of claim 1 and by a method having the features of the independent method claim. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, the cash box on a locking element which prevents rotation of the shaft in the first rotational direction in a locking position and in a release position allows rotation of the shaft in the first direction of rotation. This ensures that, when the blocking element is arranged in the blocking position, a rotation of the shaft in the first direction of rotation is not possible and thus the pressure unit can not move in the direction of deposition. Thus, the counterforce on the banknote stack is reliably maintained, so that a secure feeding and safe removal of notes of value from the cashbox is guaranteed. The cash box has, in particular, an opening, via which the notes of value can be mechanically fed in and / or removed by machine. The banknotes are in this case supplied in particular by means of a stacking module of the cashbox and fed into the storage direction of a bill of exchange. In this case, a newly supplied value note is fed to the end face of the already received value note stack facing away from the pressure unit. When feeding a force is applied to the supplied note and here on the entire value note stack, which is so large that the pressure unit is moved accordingly a piece further in the storage direction. This movement takes place against the counterforce. This ensures that the note stack is constantly under a predetermined voltage and thus can not overturn the notes of value.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, the blocking element is designed such that it allows rotation of the shaft in the second rotational direction in the locking position and / or the release position. As with a rotation of the shaft in the second direction of rotation, the pressure unit would be moved counter to the storage direction and such movement is prevented by the value note stack itself, the pressure unit would not move against the storage direction when dropping the cashbox anyway.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, the blocking element is designed and mounted such that it is arranged in the intended orientation of the cashbox in the release position and a deviation of the orientation of the cashbox from the intended orientation by at least a predetermined minimum angle due to its gravity from the release position moved to the locked position. Under the intended direction of the cashbox is the one Understood orientation in which the cashbox is arranged when it is arranged in a scheduled ATM, automatic cash register system, an automatic cash deposit or other devices for handling bank notes. In particular, the cashbox is aligned horizontally in the intended orientation, that is, that the storage direction is horizontal. As a rule, when the cashbox is dropped, it will automatically rotate out of alignment as intended, so that the blocking element will also automatically move from the release position to the locked position, thus preventing unintentional movement of the pressure unit in the direction of storage. If the cashbox is returned to its intended orientation, then the blocking element in particular automatically moves again from the blocking position into the release position, so that the cashbox can continue to be operated according to plan.

In particular, the minimum angle has a value between 10 ° and 50 °, preferably between 20 ° and 40 °, for example about 30 °.

The blocking element according to the invention is designed such that it has a through hole through which the shaft passes.

In particular, the blocking element has a first engaging element which, when the blocking element is arranged in the blocking position, is provided with a second engaging element which is complementary to the first engaging element Wave is engaged. Thus, a secure blocking of the shaft is achieved in the first direction of rotation.

The first engagement element is in particular formed as a projecting edge in the inner contour of the through hole. In particular, the shaft has a plurality of steps that are shaped such that one of the steps, upon rotation in the first direction of rotation, engages the edge of the locking element when the locking element is in the locking position so that the shaft does not extend further into the locking position can turn the first direction of rotation. Thus, the pressure unit can only move as far in the storage direction, as is possible by the rotation of the shaft from one stage to the next stage.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, only the portion of the shaft on which the locking element is arranged, shaped correspondingly stepped, whereas the rest of the shaft may have a different shape. Alternatively, the entire shaft may have this corresponding stepped shape.

In particular, the steps are shaped such that, even when the locking member is disposed in the locking position, there is no engagement between the edge of the locking member and one of the steps of the shaft when the shaft rotates in the second direction of rotation. For this purpose, the steps are rounded in particular in one direction, namely in the direction that the edges contact when the shaft rotates in the second direction of rotation. Over this contact between the rounded portions of the steps and the edge, the locking element is pushed away, so that a rotation in the second direction of rotation is possible. When rotated in the first direction of rotation, however, the edge engages the steps, so that rotation is not possible, and also the locking element can not be pushed away.

The blocking element is fastened in particular pivotably about an axis of rotation on the housing of the pressure unit. Accordingly, the blocking element between the locking position and the release position is pivoted about this axis of rotation. This ensures that the blocking element can move easily between the locking position and the release position by its gravity depending on the orientation of the cassette, and thus, if the cashbox is inclined by the minimum angle or more automatically goes into the locked position and thus moving reliably prevents the pressure unit in the storage direction.

The blocking element is fastened in particular via a plug connection to the housing. As a result, a particularly easy installation is achieved. By guiding the shaft through the through hole of the locking element is still prevented that the locking element can be removed unintentionally or intentionally without first to assemble the shaft and thus to take apart the entire pressure unit.

The blocking element is in particular L-shaped, wherein in one of the two legs, the through hole is arranged and the leg facing away from this end of the other leg is pivotally attached to the housing of the pressure unit.

In particular, the pressure unit comprises a spring which biases the pressure unit counter to the direction of deposition for generating the counterforce. The farther the pressure unit is moved in the depositing direction, the more the spring is elastically deformed and the greater is the applied counterforce. By using such a spring can be dispensed with complex electrical elements, especially motors. The combination of the spring with the blocking element nevertheless ensures secure feeding and removal of the notes of value, since unintentional movement is prevented.

Another aspect of the invention relates to a method for mounting a blocking element of a pressure unit of a cashbox, wherein the blocking element is fastened in a first step via a plug connection to a housing of the pressure unit. Subsequently, in a second step, a shaft of the pressure unit of the cash box is passed through a through hole of the blocking element, before finally in a third step, the shaft is attached to the housing of the pressure unit. As a result, on the one hand a simple assembly is achieved and on the other hand prevented an intentional or unintentional, accidental removal of the locking element.

Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description, which illustrates the invention with reference to embodiments in conjunction with the accompanying figures.

In FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a cashbox 10 is shown. The cashbox 10 includes a housing 12 having a first opening 14 for mechanically feeding and / or withdrawing notes of value and a second opening 16 for manual access. The second opening 16 is in FIG. 1 closed by a lid 18. If the lid 18 is opened, notes of value can be manually fed and removed via the second opening 16 and / or a maintenance of the cash box 10 can be carried out.

In FIG. 2 is a plan view of the cashbox 10 is shown, wherein the lid 18 is hidden, so that the internal components are visible. FIG. 3 shows a sectional view through the cashbox 10. The cashbox 10 has a receiving compartment 20 for receiving a banknote stack. The banknotes 10 to be supplied notes of value are fed via the first opening 14 by means of a stacking and / or separating module and moved in a depositing direction P1 within the receiving compartment 20 with their edges on a bottom unit of the cashbox. In the receiving compartment 20, a pressure unit 100 is provided, which in the storage direction P1 and is movable against the storage direction P1. The construction of the pressure unit 100 will be described below in connection with FIGS FIGS. 4 to 11 explained in more detail.

The pressure unit 100 is used to exert a counter to the direction of deposit P1 directed counter-pressure on the recorded value stack, so as to prevent the notes of value from falling over. Thus, the value note stack is always kept under a certain pressure, so that a reliable feeding of notes of value and / or removal of notes of value is possible. In the Figures 2 and 3 is the value stack, which would actually be disposed between the opening 14 and the pressure unit 100, not shown to show the other components of the cashbox 10.

The more notes of value are supplied to the value note stack, the further the pressure unit 100 is moved against the counterforce applied by it in the depositing direction P1.

In FIG. 4 is a schematic perspective view of the pressure unit 100 is shown. FIG. 5 shows a further schematic perspective view of the pressure unit 100, wherein the housing 102 of the pressure unit 100 is hidden, so that the internal components are visible. FIG. 6 shows an off-center sectional view through the pressure unit 100 and FIG. 7 a bottom view of a section of the pressure unit 100th

The pressure unit 100 has a first shaft 104 which is coupled to a second shaft 110 via a first gear 106 and a second gear 108 meshing with the first gear 106. At the two end portions of the second shaft 110, a gear 112 is disposed in each case, wherein these gears 112 mesh with in the depositing direction P1 on the sides of the cashbox 10 extending racks 30. When the first shaft 104 is rotated in a first rotational direction P2, the second shaft 110 rotates in a second rotational direction P3 against the first rotational direction P2 via the coupling with the two toothed wheels 106, 108. Through the engagement between the gears 112 and the racks 30, the pressure unit 100 moves in this case in the direction of deposit P1.

Bei einer Drehung der ersten Welle 104 entgegen der ersten Richtung, also bei einer Drehung in die zweite Drehrichtung P3, dreht sich die zweite Welle 110 entsprechend in die erste Drehrichtung P2 und die Andruckeinheit 100 bewegt sich innerhalb des Aufnahmefaches 20 entgegen der Ablagerichtung P1.Upon rotation of the first shaft 104 counter to the first direction, ie upon rotation in the second direction of rotation P3, the second shaft 110 rotates correspondingly in the first direction of rotation P2 and the pressure unit 100 moves within the receiving compartment 20 against the depositing direction P1.

On the first shaft 104, a spring unit 114 is arranged, which is designed such that its spring is increasingly tensioned upon rotation of the first shaft 104 in the first direction of rotation P2, so that the force applied via the spring unit 114 spring force is larger and opposite to the Deposit direction P1 acting counterforce is applied. When feeding notes of value to the receiving compartment 20, the pressure unit 100 is moved in the depositing direction P1. As a result, the first shaft 104 is rotated in the first direction of rotation P2. Conversely, the pressure unit 100 via the spring unit 114, when notes of value are removed, against the deposit direction P1 moves. Thus, the value note stack via the pressure unit 100 is automatically kept under pressure, so that a safe feeding and / or removal is possible.

In known press units 100, there is a problem that when the cash box 10 is accidentally dropped, the press unit 100 may inadvertently move in the storage direction P1, so that the bank notes of the bank note stack may tip over.

To prevent this, a blocking element 120 is provided in the pressure unit 100. This blocking element 120 is used during assembly, as in FIG. 7 shown in corresponding receiving elements 122 of the housing 102 of the pressure unit 100 inserted. Subsequently, during assembly, the first shaft 104 is passed through a through hole 124 of the blocking element 120, so that the blocking element 120 is prevented from being intentionally or unintentionally removed.

The FIGS. 8 and 9 each show the blocking element 120, wherein in FIG. 8 a side view and in FIG. 9 a schematic view is shown. The blocking element 120 is approximately L-shaped, wherein the through-hole 124 is formed in the first leg 126. On the second leg 128, locking elements 130 are provided on the end portion facing away from the first leg 126, which are inserted for mounting in the receiving elements 122 of the housing 102. About a nose 133 prevents the locking element 120 is inserted too far, so that a particularly simple and safe installation is achieved.

On the inner contour 132 of the through hole 124, an edge 134 is provided. This edge 134 serves to prevent rotation of the first shaft 104 in the first rotational direction P2 in a locking position of the blocking element 120.

The blocking element 120 is mounted pivotably on the housing 102 about an axis of rotation. The blocking element 120 is designed in such a way that it is arranged when the cashbox 10 is in its operational orientation, ie the orientation in which it is received when it is received in an automatic teller machine, an automatic checkout system, an automatic cash teller or any other suitable device , executed, due to its gravity in an in FIG. 10 shown release position to be arranged. In this release position, the shaft 104 is disposed in a side facing away from the edge 134 of the through hole 124, so that the shaft 104, regardless of whether it rotates in the first direction of rotation P2 or the second direction of rotation P3, does not come into contact with the edge 134.

If the cash box 10, however, moves at least by a predetermined minimum angle from the intended orientation, the locking element 120 is due to its gravity from the release position into an in FIG. 11 shown blocking position pivoted. In this blocking position, the blocking element 120 prevents rotation of the shaft 104 in the first direction of rotation P2, so that the pressure unit 100 can not move in the storage direction P1. For this purpose, the first shaft 104, at least in the region in which the blocking element 120 is arranged, a plurality of stages, one of which is exemplified by the reference numeral 135. The steps 135 each have a rounded side 136 and an edged side 138. When the first shaft 104 is rotated in the first direction of rotation P2, the angular sides 138 of the first shaft 104 engage the edge 134 of the blocking element 120, so that further rotation in the first direction of rotation P2 is prevented. When the second shaft 104 rotates counter to the first rotational direction P2, ie, a rotation in the second direction of rotation P3, the rounded sides 136 of the steps 135 contact the edge 134 of the blocking element 120, so that via this contact the blocking element 120 moves in the direction P4 is pivoted away, so that a rotation of the first shaft 104 in the second rotational direction P3 is possible.

In this way, unintentional movement of the pressure unit 100 in the direction of deposit P1 is avoided in a simple manner. In particular, no active control is necessary for this, since the movement of the blocking element 120 between the blocking and the release position is carried out automatically by its gravity. For this purpose, in particular thickenings 140 are provided on the blocking element 120, which define the center of gravity of the blocking element accordingly.

  2. The cash box (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that in the blocking position and/or the unblocking position the blocking element (120) allows a rotation of the shaft (104) in the second direction of rotation (P3).
  3. The cash box (10) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the blocking element (120) is formed and mounted such that when the cash box (10) is oriented as intended, it is arranged in the unblocking position and given a deviation of the orientation of the cash box (10) by at least a predetermined minimum angle it moves from the unblocking position into the blocking position due to its gravity.
  4. The cash box (10) according to claim 3, characterized in that the cash box (10) is oriented in the intended orientation such that the deposit direction (P1) is oriented horizontally.
  5. The cash box (10) according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the minimum angle has a value between 10° and 50°, in particular between 20° and 40°.
  6. The cash box (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blocking element (120) has a first engagement element (134) and that the first engagement element (134) is engaged in the blocking position with a second engagement element (135) of the shaft (104) formed complementarily to the first engagement element (134).
  7. The cash box (10) according to claim 6, characterized in that the first engagement element (134) is formed as a projecting edge in the inner contour (132) of the through hole (124).
  8. The cash box (10) according to claim 7, characterized in that the shaft (104) has several steps (135) which are formed such that one of the steps (135) comes into engagement with the projecting edge (134) of the blocking element (120) upon a rotation in the first direction of rotation (P2), when the blocking element (120) is arranged in the blocking position so that the shaft (104) cannot rotate further in the first direction of rotation (P2).
  9. The cash box (10) according to claim 10, characterized in that the steps (135) are formed such that, even when the blocking element (120) is arranged in the blocking position, there is no engagement between the edge (134) of the blocking element (100) and the shaft (104) when the shaft (104) rotates in the second direction of rotation (P3).
  10. The cash box (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blocking element (120) is mounted to the housing (102) of the press-on unit (100) pivotably about an axis of rotation.
  11. The cash box (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blocking element (120) is mounted to the housing (102) of the press-on unit (100) via a plug-in connection.
  12. The cash box (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the blocking element (120) is L-shaped.
  13. The cash box (10) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the press-on unit (100) comprises a spring (114) which biases the press-on unit (100) opposite to the deposit direction (P1) for generating the counter force.
  14. A method for mounting a blocking element of a press-on unit of a cash box,
in which the blocking element (120) is mounted in a first step to a housing (102) of the press-on unit (100) via a plug-in connection,
in which in a subsequent second step a shaft (104) of the press-on unit (100) is guided through a through hole (124) of the blocking element (120), and
in which then in a third step the shaft (104) is mounted to the housing (102) of the press-on unit (100).
