Claims (15)

  1. A device for handling notes of value,
    comprising at least one cash box (14a) for receiving notes of value; and
    at least one separating and/or stacking module (16a) for removing notes of value from the cash box (14a) and/or for supplying notes of value to the cash box (14a);
    wherein the separating and/or stacking module (16a) is arranged separately from the cash box (14a);
    the separating and/or stacking module (16a) comprises a transport path along which notes of value to be supplied to the cash box (14a) and/or notes of value to be removed from the cash box (14a) are transportable;
    at least one part of the transport path is limited by a swivel arrangement (28) with transport elements that in a first position is arranged such that notes of value are transportable at least along the part of the transport path and that no or only limited access to these notes of value is possible, and wherein in a second position this swivel arrangement (28) is arranged such that manual access to the part of the transport path is possible;
    and wherein the separating and/or stacking module (16a) comprises a locking mechanism (36) for locking the swivel arrangement (28);
