Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Scharnier zur schwenkbaren Halterung eines im wesentlichen ebenen Abschnitts, insbesondere eines Türflügels einer Duschabtrennung beispielsweise an einem Gebäudeabschnitt oder einem anderen Trennwandabschnitt einer Duschabtrennung oder dergleichen, wobei das Scharnier einen abschnittsseitigen Festlegungsbereich bzw. ein erstes Scharnierband (1) und einen körperseitigen Scharnierbereich bzw. ein zweites Scharnierband (2) aufweist und die beiden Festlegungsbereiche bzw. Scharnierbänder (1, 2) über einen, mit einer aus einem Hebe-Senk-Mechanismus (4) und einer Druckfeder (5) bestehenden Schließmechanik versehenen Scharnierbolzen (3) schwenkbar miteinander verbunden sind, wobei der Scharnierbolzen (3) über einen kegelförmigen oder mit ähnlicher Wirkung ausgebildeten Abschnitt (3.1) und einen Mitnehmer (3.2) mit einer Rotationsbremse (8) in einer form- und kraftschlüssigen Wirkverbindung steht.
