Abstract

Eine Kanal-Trocknungsvorrichtung 2 zum Trocknen hygroskopischen Trocknungsgutes, insbesondere von Schnittholz, weist einen Trocknungskanal 4 und Fördermittel zum Fördern des Trocknungsgutes von einem Einlass 6 zu einem Auslass 8 des Trocknungskanales 4 in einer Vorschubrichtung 10 auf. Die Trocknungsvorrichtung 2 weist ferner Klimatisierungsmittel zur Einstellung eines Trocknungsklimas in einer Trocknungszone 12 des Trocknungskanales 4 während des Betriebs der Trocknungsvorrichtung 2 auf. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Klimatisierungsmittel derart ausgebildet und eingerichtet, dass sich während des Betriebs der Trocknungsvorrichtung 2 in Vorschubrichtung 10 vor der Trocknungszone 12 eine erste Anpassungszone 16 zur Anpassung des aus einem außerhalb des Trocknungskanales herrschenden Außenklima stammenden Trocknungsgutes an das Trocknungsklima und in Vorschubrichtung hinter der Trocknungszone 12 eine zweite Anpassungszone 18 zur Anpassung des Trocknungsgutes an das außerhalb der Trocknungsvorrichtung 2 herrschende Außenklima einstellt. Bei einer Aufteilung der Trocknungszone 12 in zwei Einzel-Trocknungszonen 11,13 kann erfindungsgemäß warmes trockenes Klima aus einer hinteren Einzel-Trocknungszone 13 in eine vordere Einzel-Trocknungszone 11 zur erneuten Nutzung transportiert werden.
