Description

The invention relates to a cleaning device, in particular for the cleaning of swimming pools, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Pool cleaning robots are used in the professional field, especially in Olympic swimming pools or large hotel pool facilities. The previous robots can drive independently from the edge of the pool into the water, lower themselves, pull the electrical cable behind him and systematically shut down the entire pool floor using different navigation systems, depending on the equipment, and finally return to the place and emerge, where the robot the work has started. The operator then only has to clean the filters in a few simple steps. The robot is equipped with brushes as well as coarse and fine filters. When cleaning only the dirt that has accumulated at the bottom of the pool, detached and collected by means of an electric circulation pump in the filters.

Professional swimming pools are typically equipped with external, high-performance circulating pumps to chemically treat and filter the water. Often, UV treatments of the water to be treated are provided. The water is therefore usually optically clean and the chemical additives prevent the formation of algae.

Outdoor pools are mostly closed in winter, but for structural reasons, the water remains in the hibernation in the pool, so that then accumulates much dirt and form different algae. Some algae can only badly adhere to the walls, which have a smooth surface. In many cases, the walls are coated with films which are treated with chemical substances in order to prevent algae growth. In the case of slabs, however, the algae are able to nest on the joints, above all. Some algae, especially black algae, adhere almost indissolubly, especially on the ground.

However, the use of the usual underwater robots is far from sufficient to effect complete cleaning when recommending such a swimming pool. Before startup, therefore, the swimming pool water is completely drained or pumped out and several workers have to clean the swimming pool in the most laborious manual and footwork. Typically, chemicals and brushes of different hardness are used. Special shoes must also be worn to provide sufficient traction. Also brushes are attached to the shoes to achieve an increased pressure on the brush with the body weight. This is an expensive and expensive undertaking every year. Alternatively, high-pressure cleaners can be used, in particular to eliminate algae infestation and biofilm.

Recently, more and more so-called natural pools and outdoor pools are built with biological water treatment, in which the water is also circulated, but purified by a natural water treatment. For example, the water is filtered through a natural pond or pond, which also contains plants. The aim of these natural baths or outdoor pools with biological water treatment is to get along with as little fresh water and without chemical additives. The walls and floors of these natural baths or outdoor pools with biological water treatment are usually built with natural stones, which usually have a rougher surface than in conventional Swimming pool. The cleaning of such natural baths or outdoor pools with biological water treatment can hardly accomplish because of the stronger algae infestation by the conventional pool cleaning robot.

To clean such natural baths or outdoor pools with biological water treatment, rolling brushes are therefore used, which have longer bristles and are coated with abrasive material. The brushes must then be replaced regularly, which entails increased costs, and the cleaning performance is still unsatisfactory. Therefore, another solution is chosen by additional staff cleans the poolside with hand brushes or high-pressure cleaners or natural baths or pools with biological water treatment.

In EP-A-1 551 571 is a cleaning device described with high-pressure cleaning jets, which are directed by means of cranked pipes at a shallow angle of about 5 ° to 10 ° on the surface of the swimming pool to be cleaned. The cleaning with the high-pressure jets thus takes place in a relatively narrow strip, so that the cleaning robot must travel at least three times the distance than usual to cover the entire bottom of the pool. Furthermore, cleaning with the high-pressure jets at the edge areas of the swimming pool is not possible. Other well-known cleaning devices are in EP 1 997 567 A1 and JP 2001 276754 A described.

The present invention is based on the object to avoid the disadvantages mentioned, and to provide a swimming pool cleaning device that allows efficient and cost-effective cleaning of professional swimming pools and natural pools or outdoor pools with biological water treatment and also ornamental pool.

This object is achieved by a swimming pool cleaning device having the features of patent claim 1.

The inventive cleaning device has the great advantage that now with significantly less effort and much faster a pool floor can be cleaned, with strongly adhering dirt to be removed and removed.

In the figures, the same reference numerals are used for the same elements, unless otherwise stated.

FIG. 1 shows a cleaning device 1 for the cleaning of swimming pools in a perspective view and seen from below, which laterally has two beads 2 and 3 with an internal toothing, which are each clamped between two of a (not shown) electric motor driven gears 4 and 5. Front and rear brush rollers 6 and 7 are provided, which also has a toothed belt 8 (see FIG. 2 ) are driven by the gears 4 and 5. Between the front gears 4, a front axle 10 and between the rear gears 5, a rear axle 11 is arranged. Further, a (not apparent) housing is provided with a housing base 13, which rear two adjacent trapezoidal suction 14 and 15 and front two annular, juxtaposed cutouts 16 and 17 which through a central circular plate 18 and connected to the housing base 13 Webs 19 are formed.

How out FIG. 2 can be seen, above the suction port 14, a suction pump 20 and above the suction port 15, a suction pump 21 is provided. Furthermore, a filter housing 22 for the (not shown) cleaning filter is provided purely schematically.

In the FIGS. 3 and 4 are now on the underside of the cleaning device 1 just above the housing base 13, two rotors 25 rotatably mounted with a rotor arm 26 to a pressurized water line, the ends are each provided with a nozzle 27. The outlet openings of the nozzles 27 are aligned at an angle of 10 ° to 25 ° to the perpendicular to the housing base 13, so that the exiting high-pressure water jet occurs at an angle of 10 ° to 25 ° on the surface to be cleaned. Thus, the rotor 25 is automatically rotated by the high-pressure water jet in rotation. Depending on the pressure of the water jet and the diameter of the outlet opening of the nozzles 27, a faster or less rapid rotation is achieved. A rotational speed of 100 to 600 revolutions per minute has proven to be extremely effective in cleaning the soil affected by black algae. The distance of the nozzle 27 to the ground is approximately 3 to 4 cm. The rotation of the rotors 25 may additionally by the drive of the gears 4 and 5 or by a separate motor. The circular or cover plate 18 prevents the rotor 25 can not be hindered by coarser dirt such as small branches in the rotational movement.

The (not shown) high-pressure water pump for the high-pressure water jet is placed outside the pool and passed over a reinforced hose to the pressurized water line of the cleaning device 1. This hose can be connected to the device power supply cable for the suction pumps 20 and 21, for the electric drive motor and for the electrical control. In addition, this cable connected to the hose may be provided with buoyancy or float, so that the hose floats on the water and so does not hinder the cleaning device 1 when reciprocating over the pool floor.

The water supplied to the high-pressure water pump can be taken directly from the swimming pool. The high-pressure water pump generates a water pressure of 100 to 300 bar. The normal cleaning pump power of the cleaning device 1 is about 5 to 15 liters per second and by sucking this amount of water through the large intake ports 14 and 15 sucks the cleaning device 1, as it were at the bottom of the pool. This suction also causes the cleaning device 1 to keep on the ground despite the high-pressure water jet, because the suction pressure is significantly greater than the opposite force, which is effected by the water jet flowing out of the nozzle exits. With the rotating jet of water adhering to the pool dirt is released and sucked through the suction ports 14 and 15 of the pumps 20 and 21.

The cleaning device 1 can also be designed without brush rollers, simply be equipped with wheels or rollers to be attached as a trailer to an existing cleaning robot. This allows a simple and cost-effective retrofitting of existing cleaning systems.
