Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reinigungsvorrichtung zur Nassreinigung von Bodenflächen. The invention relates to a cleaning device for wet cleaning of floor surfaces.

The basic structure of the cleaning device includes a housing having on its underside a slot-shaped suction opening and a bottom open roll chamber with a rotatably mounted cleaning roller, a device for discharging a cleaning fluid in the roll chamber and a fixed or pivotally connected to the housing suction nozzle for connecting a suction unit. In the housing, a suction chamber is arranged, which extends from the suction opening to the suction nozzle and is not connected to the roll chamber.

A cleaning device with the described features is made US Pat. No. 3,699,607 known. The device has an electric motor which drives a cleaning roller covered with bristle bundles via a V-belt. Within the roll chamber, a cleaning fluid is released, which is distributed by the mechanical action of the cleaning roller on the bottom surface or incorporated into a textile floor covering. The known device has a suction opening, which is formed as a narrow slot and arranged in the direction of movement in front of the bottom-side opening of the roll chamber. Through the slit-shaped suction opening dirt particles and liquid are sucked from the bottom surface. The fluid intake takes place during a backward movement of the device over the bottom surface. For the operation of the cleaning device, a power supply is necessary. The cleaning device is therefore less suitable as an accessory for a vacuum cleaner. Furthermore, the known cleaning device is designed specifically for the care of textile floor surfaces. The DE 10 2007 029258 A1 describes another cleaning device for wet cleaning of floor surfaces according to the preamble of independent claim 1.

Against this background, the invention has for its object to provide a cleaning device for wet cleaning of floor surfaces, which can be used netztebunden and therefore also suitable as an accessory or ballast for a commercial vacuum cleaner. When using the cleaning device on smooth floor coverings should also be ensured that the cleaning liquid is largely completely absorbed by the bottom surface again.

The object of the invention to solve this problem is a cleaning device according to claim 1.

According to the invention, the suction chamber, which extends from a slot-shaped suction opening to the suction nozzle and is not connected to the roll chamber, comprises a turbine chamber with a turbine, which flows around and / or flows through an air stream sucked in the suction opening or through a separate opening and drives the cleaning roller. The cleaning roller is driven according to the invention by a driven turbine and is arranged in a separate roller chamber, which is not acted upon by the suction air flow. Since the roller chamber is not traversed by a suction air, there is also no risk that a portion of the cleaning fluid is discharged immediately in the form of small droplets with the air flow. Rather, it is ensured that the entire amount of detergent on the floor surface is used effectively. Liquid and dirt particles are sucked away from the bottom surface by the action of a separately arranged slot-shaped suction opening. The airflow entering through the suction opening can be used to drive a turbine which drives the cleaning roller. Accordingly, the slot-shaped suction opening is to be designed so that it not only sucks dirt and liquid effectively, but also that a sufficiently large volume flow with the lowest possible Pressure losses flow in and can flow through the suction chamber. The turbine is in this embodiment of the invention preferably a Pelton turbine or a flow-through cross-flow turbine. Alternatively it can be provided as a turbine and an axially impinged turbine, which is preferably driven by a sucked through a separate opening air flow. The air stream sucked through the separate opening is not loaded with dirt particles or drops of liquid and is used as a clean air flow exclusively for driving the turbine. In a portion of the suction chamber behind the roller space, the air flow sucked in through the suction opening and the air flow driving through the turbine are brought together.

The slot-shaped suction opening preferably extends parallel to the bottom-side opening of the roll chamber and is arranged according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention in the working direction behind the opening of the roll chamber. During a forward movement of the cleaning device over a floor surface to be cleaned, the cleaning fluid is applied to the cleaning roller and / or the bottom surface, distributed by the rotation of the cleaning roller on the bottom surface and then sucked back through the slot-shaped suction opening without interrupting the movement process. The average residence time of the cleaning fluid on the bottom surface is shorter compared to the prior art. However, the residence time is sufficient to wet dusts and dirt particles with the cleaning liquid, to bind to the liquid and to take up again together with the liquid in the slot-shaped suction opening. The suction opening is expediently delimited by a sealing lip, at least on its longitudinal side facing away from the opening of the roller chamber.

The cleaning device can be used for cleaning smooth floor surfaces. A particularly preferred embodiment for this application The device according to the invention provides that the housing has bottom-side rollers and that the slot-shaped suction opening is delimited on both longitudinal sides in each case by a flexible lip which projects beyond the contact surface predetermined by the rollers. The flexible lips bend due to the excess length in both a forward movement as well as a backward movement and are profiled so that the rear in each case rear lip with a smooth working edge acts as a scraper and that the front in the direction of travel lip by profiling not on the entire surface the bottom surface rests, leaving between the lip and the bottom surface gaps through which air and liquid can be sucked. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the flexible lips on their suction slot facing side acting as a scraper smooth working edge and the lips are provided on its side facing away from the suction slot side with a profiled surface. The profiled surface of the lips may in particular have a ribbed structure.

According to a further advantageous embodiment, the housing of the cleaning device on bottom side projections which terminate at a short distance above the predetermined by the rollers footprint and shield the space between the flexible lips end against air ingress. This measure contributes to the fact that only little external air is sucked in and an effective negative pressure can build up under the slot-shaped suction opening.

The device for discharging the cleaning fluid has at least one nozzle or outlet opening, which is expediently arranged in the roller space above the rotation roller. The cleaning liquid can be applied to the surface of the cleaning roller and / or the floor surface to be cleaned. The cleaning roller is covered with bristle bundles and / or has soft cleaning pads, z. As felt, foam, fur o. The like. On. The pads can also be combined with each other.

The housing 1 has bottom-side rollers 11. The slot-shaped suction opening 2 is delimited on both longitudinal sides by a flexible lip 12 which project beyond the contact surface predetermined by the rollers 11. The flexible lips 12 bend due to the excess length in a movement of the cleaning device on the bottom surface. Out Fig. 2 It can be seen that the flexible lips 12 have on their suction opening 2 side facing acting as a scraper smooth working edge 13 and that the flexible lips 12 have a profiled surface 14 on its side facing away from the suction slot. The profiled surface 14 has a rib structure with a plurality of parallel triangular ribs. The described arrangement and profiling of the flexible lips 12 ensures that each acts in the direction of travel behind the lip with a smooth working edge as a scraper and that each front in the direction of travel lip rests only on the ribs of the profiled surface 14 being between the bottom surface and form the profiled surface 14 gaps through which water and air can be sucked.

Out Fig. 2 is also apparent that the housing 1 has bottom projections 15 which terminate at a short distance above the predetermined by the rollers 11 footprint and shield the space between the flexible lips 12 end against air ingress.

The device 5 for discharging the cleaning fluid has at least one nozzle 18 or outlet opening, which is arranged in the roll chamber 3 above the axis of rotation of the cleaning roller 4. The cleaning agent is sprayed onto the cleaning roller 4 and / or on the bottom surface. In the exemplary embodiment, the cleaning roller 4 is covered with bristle bundles. The cleaning roller may also have soft cleaning pads, e.g. B. felt coverings, foam pads or fur coverings.
