Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mopping device, comprising a mopping textile and a substantially rectangular support body with a longitudinal axis and two longitudinal sides and a transverse axis and two transverse sides, to which the mopping textile can be releasably attached, a pivotable fastening clamp being arranged on the support body on the transverse side at least on one side so as to be pivotable about a hinge and wherein the at least one fastening clamp is movable in a pivot plane which is arranged essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support body.
  • Such a wiper is from the DE 94 02 579 U1 famous.
  • the wiping textile is formed by a simple wiping cloth that is fixed to the bottom and top of the support body.
  • a Velcro strip running transversely to the working direction is arranged on the underside of the support body and can be brought into engagement with the surface of the wipe.
  • two recesses are arranged on both sides of the handle to fix the wipe on the support body on its upper side, in each of which the wipe is releasably clamped by a clamping body.
  • Each clamping body is arranged at one end of a pivot lever, the pivot lever being mounted on the carrier body.
  • the wiping cloth When wiping, the wiping cloth is guided around the front longitudinal side of the support body.
  • the simple wiping cloth does not have any additional fastening devices that would simplify its attachment to the support body and / or make it more reliable.
  • the wiper is clamped by a mandrel of a clamping body in a substantially congruent recess in the support body.
  • a mandrel of a clamping body in a substantially congruent recess in the support body.
  • Such a type of attachment requires a suitable wipe, in particular a wipe made of a suitable material, because the wipe itself has a direct influence on the durability of the attachment to the support body. If the wiping cloth is too thick, for example, and / or has fringes running around the outer circumference, it will not be possible to lock the locking device in the recess by the mandrel.
  • the wiping cloth is very thin, it can happen that the clamping force of the lock is insufficient or that the wiping cloth is pierced when the mandrel is inserted into the recess and thus destroyed.
  • a further disadvantage is that the wiping cloth is guided around the front longitudinal side of the supporting body during the intended use of the wiping device.
  • a suitable wipe must be selected that is sufficiently stable on the one hand not to be damaged during normal use in this area and on the other hand flexible enough to be guided around the edge and then attached to the support body be able.
  • FIG DE 84 34 817 U1 famous Another wiper device, which essentially corresponds to the wiper device described above, is shown in FIG DE 84 34 817 U1 famous.
  • the wiping textile is formed by a simple wiping cloth that is attached to the edge of the support body by brackets.
  • the brackets are designed as clamping jaws and are thereby connected to the support body.
  • This wiper also does not have any additional fastening devices by means of which the wiper could be fastened to the support body in a more durable manner.
  • the support body has a pivotable fastening clamp in the region of its two transverse sides, the fastening clamps each being movable in a pivot plane.
  • the pivot planes are each arranged perpendicular to the transverse axis of the support body.
  • the width of the fastening clamps is only comparatively small.
  • fastening tabs of the mopping textile can be accommodated, which are also relatively narrow, so that the previously known mopping device can only be operated overall with an undesirably limited number of mopping textiles.
  • the weight of the wiping fabric runs parallel to the swivel plane of the fastening clamps. In particular, when the wiping fabric is wet, this is disadvantageous for reliable fastening of the wiping fabric on the support body.
  • the invention is based on the object of developing a mopping device of the previously known type in such a way that fastening straps of the mopping textile of different widths can be fastened to the support body in a particularly durable and secure manner.
  • the wiping textile has, on the transverse side, at least one side, a fastening tab for fastening to the corresponding fastening clamp.
  • Essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support body is preferably understood to mean a range of ⁇ 45 °, starting from the perpendicular of the pivot plane.
  • the fastening clamp Due to the pivotability of the fastening clamp in a swivel plane, which is arranged essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support body, there is the possibility of designing the fastening clamp to be very wide in the swivel plane, so that fastening straps of the wiping textile can also be attached to the support body by means of the fastening clamp, for example, when the fastening tab has a width which almost corresponds to the width of the support body.
  • the support body is therefore suitable for receiving wiping textiles with fastening straps of the most varied of widths and can therefore be used very universally.
  • fastening tab extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support body and perpendicular to the pivot plane of the fastening clamp. A good durability is therefore also guaranteed if the fastening strap is exposed to tensile loads due to the intended use of the mopping device.
  • a pivotable fastening clamp is arranged on both sides of the support body so that it can be pivoted about a joint, for fastening fastening straps arranged correspondingly on both sides of the wiping fabric and that the two fastening clamps each in a pivot plane, which is essentially perpendicular are arranged to the longitudinal axis of the support body, are movable.
  • the fastening of a wiping textile by two fastening straps on two fastening clamps of the support body is particularly simple.
  • a wiping textile with two fastening straps can be produced simply and inexpensively. If the wiping textile is designed symmetrically to its transverse axis, the risk of assembly errors when it is attached to the support body is minimized. The user practically does not need to pay attention to the direction in which he is fixing the wiping textile on the support body.
  • the wiping textile has a fastening pocket on the transverse side, at least on one side, which at least partially encloses a transverse side of the support body.
  • the fastening tab can be arranged on this fastening pocket.
  • the fastening clamps can be arranged pivotably about pivot axes of the joints, the pivot axes of the joints being arranged essentially parallel to the longitudinal axes of the support body.
  • the pivot axes thus extend perpendicular to the pivot plane.
  • the joints can be designed differently.
  • the fastening clamps can be pivotable in their pivot planes by a first opening angle between an open and a closed position, the first opening angle preferably being 45 ° to 135 °.
  • first opening angles that are smaller than 90 °, the handling for fastening the wiping textile through its fastening tabs on the support body can be all the more difficult, the wider the fastening tabs are designed.
  • the threading of the fastening tab in the area of the The hinge of the fastening clamps turns out to be particularly troublesome with small initial opening angles.
  • Opening angles greater than 135 ° are disadvantageous insofar as large swivel angles have to be covered to fasten the fastening tabs and the fastening tabs can move out of their favorable position between the fastening clamps and the support body during this.
  • the first opening angle is preferably at least 90 °. This ensures that even wide fastening straps can easily be inserted by the user into the clamping area between the carrier body and the fastening clamp and then fastened by fastening clips projecting perpendicularly from the support body.
  • the first opening angle can be 110 °.
  • Such a large opening angle is of particular advantage for professional applications, in particular when the user works with gloves and the wiping textile has to be changed particularly frequently and / or quickly.
  • the fastening clamps In the open position, the fastening clamps can each be able to be placed against a stop in order to limit their first opening angle. As a result of the stop, the fastening clamp always assumes the same, defined position in its open position relative to the support body, so that the handling of the mopping device is simplified, in particular when a mopping textile is changed more frequently, as described above.
  • the handling of the mopping device can be further simplified in that the joints of the fastening clamps each have at least one latching station for holding the fastening clamps in the open position. Take the fastening clips in their respective rest stations a defined position in relation to the support body. In contrast to the stops described above, the locking stations do not absolutely limit the angle of the open position of the fastening clamps in relation to the support body.
  • the fastening clamps can, for example, be moved beyond the latching station when moving in the open position.
  • the advantage here is that the service life of the mopping device can be extended as a result, even if it is used in a harsh, professional operation. Even if the fastening clamps are moved into the open position beyond their respective locking station, the fastening clamps do not break off.
  • the fastening clamps swing around the joint in a manner that is not difficult to control due to their positioning in the rest station - and therefore difficult to handle for the user.
  • the fastening clamps are then moved from the open position in the latching station back into their closed position.
  • the fastening clamps each have two locking stations which limit a first, second opening angle of 90 ° and a second, second opening angle of 110 °. Depending on the preferences of the respective user, he can lock the fastening clamps in one of the two locking stations when changing a wiping fabric.
  • the locking stations can each be formed by a spring-loaded ball which can be snapped into a first recess.
  • Such rest stations have a simple structure, function reliably and consistently well over a long period of use and are inexpensive to manufacture.
  • the fastening clamps can be arranged flush with the surface in the support body.
  • the advantage here is that the mopping device as a whole has a smooth surface.
  • the support plate with closed fastening straps, as already described above can be inserted into pockets on the upper side of a wiping textile without any problems.
  • the flush surface ensures that no coarse dirt accumulates on the surface of the support plate and the fastening straps. Light soiling can be easily wiped off.
  • the use of the mopping device is therefore particularly hygienic even during a long period of use.
  • the fastening clamps can each have a handle on their sides facing away from the respective joint.
  • the handle simplifies handling when attaching the wiping fabric to the support body or when removing the wiping fabric from the support body.
  • the handle makes it clear to the user at which point of the fastening clamp he has to grip in order to be able to close or open the fastening clamps as easily as possible.
  • the width of the fastening clamps preferably corresponds essentially to the width of the support body.
  • the fastening tabs of the wiping textile is slightly smaller than the width of the support body, the fastening tabs can be securely fastened to the support body by the wide fastening clips.
  • the mopping device can be operated with a large number of different mopping textiles. Different widths of fastening tabs of different mopping textiles do not limit the versatility of the mopping device, the width of the fastening tabs of the mopping textile to be clamped being limited only by the width of the distance between the hinge and the handle of the fastening clips.
  • the joints can each be arranged in the region of a longitudinal side of the support body and the handles in the region of the other longitudinal side of the support body which is opposite in the transverse direction.
  • the lever for opening and closing the fastening clamps is as large as possible.
  • the handling of the mopping device is thereby also simplified when greater forces have to be applied to engage the fastening clamps in the closed position or to open the fastening clamps.
  • the fastening clamps can be positively connected to the support body in their closed position.
  • Positive connections for example locking connections, can be produced simply and inexpensively.
  • releasable form-fit connections have better usage properties over a longer period of use.
  • releasable form-fitting connections are less sensitive to contamination.
  • a form-fitting connection between the fastening clamps and the support body is therefore particularly advantageous.
  • the handles of the fastening clamps each have a locking lug, each behind a locking projection in the respective longitudinal side of the support body are lockable.
  • the locking lug is at a maximum distance from the joint of the fastening clamps. The lever for both opening and closing the latching connection is therefore maximal.
  • the locking lugs are arranged flush with the surface in the underside of the support body facing the surface to be cleaned.
  • the surface-flush integration of the locking lugs in the underside of the support body prevents unwanted protrusions between the underside of the support body and the top of the wiping fabric.
  • the smooth underside of the support body therefore transfers the pressure of the user evenly to the wiping fabric and thus to the surface to be cleaned.
  • the handles of the fastening clamps in the longitudinal direction of the support body each have a latching lug on both sides, which can be latched behind a latching projection of the support body.
  • the corresponding longitudinal side of the support body does not need to be encompassed by the latching lugs in such a configuration.
  • Such locking lugs do not have any influence on the underside of the support body.
  • the support body can each have a recess for locking the fastening clamps, said recess extending parallel to the respective longitudinal edge, with latching lugs of the fastening clamps being able to be latched into the recess.
  • the longitudinal edges of the support body extend continuously.
  • the recesses are therefore also limited by the longitudinal edges, as are the latching lugs arranged in the recesses. Even if the mopping device is moved, for example, directly on the baseboards, the baseboards do not touch the latching lugs, but only the longitudinal edges, which in this case protect the latching lugs from mechanical influences protect.
  • the risk of the latching lugs loosening undesirably and the fastening clamps thereby unintentionally exposing the fastening tabs is limited to a minimum by such a configuration.
  • the fastening clamps can each be fixed to the support body by means of a snap fastener connection.
  • Push-button connections are simple and durable and the user can immediately see at a glance whether the push-button connection is correctly locked while the mopping device is being used as intended.
  • the handles of the fastening clamps have a length in the direction of the longitudinal sides of the support body which is 2 cm to 4 cm.
  • the length mentioned corresponds to the width of two or three fingers of the user placed next to one another.
  • the fastening clamps can be arranged opposite to each other, one of the fastening clamps on one longitudinal side of the support body being pivotable about the pivot axis of its joint and the other fastening clip being arranged pivotably on the other longitudinal side of the support body about the pivot axis of its joint.
  • Such an arrangement of the fastening clips is referred to as "opposite to one another".
  • the advantage here is that the user can bring both fastening clamps into the open position so that they can be pivoted from right to left about their respective joint. To do this, the user holds the support plate in front of it vertically and first loosens / attaches the upper fastening clamp.
  • the user rotates the support body 180 ° around the axis of the handle of the mopping device, so that the now upper hold-down device can also be brought into the open position so that it can be pivoted from right to left around the joint.
  • the fastening clamps which are arranged opposite one another, simplify the handling of the mopping device.
  • At least one joint is formed by a film hinge which merges into one another in one piece and is formed from the same material as the fastening clamp and / or the support body.
  • a film hinge is structurally particularly simple and the wiper device has an overall construction with few parts.
  • the film hinge can consist, for example, of an elastically flexible polymer material and be made thin in the manner of a film.
  • At least one joint can be formed by stub axles of the corresponding fastening clamp, with one stub axle being arranged in the longitudinal direction of the supporting body on the one hand and one stub axle being arranged in the longitudinal direction of the supporting body on the other hand, and that the stub axles are rotatably mounted in congruent recesses of the supporting body.
  • a wiper device also has a construction with few parts. No additional components are required for the joint.
  • the stub axles form components of the fastening clamp and the recesses are arranged in the support body. Due to the low-number of parts, the mopping device, like the mopping device described above, in which the joint is formed by a film hinge, is only light in weight.
  • the stub axles and / or the recesses in which they are arranged can have a first surface profile with an increased coefficient of friction exhibit.
  • the increased coefficient of friction is dimensioned in such a way that the fastening clamps are held in their respective position by self-locking in intermediate positions between the open position and the closed position, regardless of how the user holds the support plate.
  • the fastening clamps do not move by their own weight alone.
  • the stub axles are preferably provided with the first surface profiling, because axles can be provided with a surface profiling more easily than bores.
  • At least one joint is formed by a separately manufactured axle, which the fastening clamp engages around pivotably and is mounted in the support body.
  • the axis can for example consist of a rust-free metallic material. As a result, the axis is resistant to moisture and, even after a long period of use of the mopping device, ensures that the fastening clamps can be swiveled perfectly about the respective axes.
  • the axis and / or the fastening clamp enclosing the axes can have a second surface profile with an increased coefficient of friction. As described above, this prevents movement of the open fastening clamps that is difficult to control.
  • the fastening clamps can thereby be held in their respective positions by self-locking in intermediate positions between the open position and the closed position.
  • the fastening tabs of the wiping fabric can thus be conveniently positioned between the fastening clamps and the support body and then fastened.
  • At least one joint and the fastening clamp connected to it are designed to be self-locking.
  • the support body has first clamping surfaces facing the fastening clips, the fastening clips having second clamping surfaces facing the support body.
  • the design of the clamping surfaces has an influence on the durability of the fastening of the fastening straps between the support body and the fastening clamps.
  • the first and / or the second clamping surfaces can have elements for increasing the clamping force.
  • elements for increasing the clamping force are of particular advantage.
  • the elements of the first and / or second clamping surfaces can be formed by profiling. Such a profiling can result in a form-fitting connection of the fastening straps with the support body and / or the fastening clamps.
  • the profiles can be formed by elevations or depressions in the first clamping surfaces, which are arranged in depressions or elevations of the second clamping surfaces with the interposition of the fastening tabs of the wiping textile. This profiling results in a particularly durable clawing of the fastening tabs between the support body and the fastening clamps.
  • the profiles can be knurled.
  • the profiles can be formed by needles which - starting from the fastening clamps or the support body - in a pin cushion of the support body or the fastening clamps penetrating the Engage the fastening tabs of the mop cover. Because the needles penetrate the fastening tabs and are received in the pin cushion, the fastening of the fastening tabs between the support body and the fastening clamps is form-fitting and particularly durable. This results in a secure fixing of the wiping fabric by means of the fastening straps, even if the stresses on the fastening straps are somewhat greater in tension.
  • first and / or the second clamping surfaces are rubberized.
  • the rubberized clamping surfaces also increase the friction and maximize the durability of the fastening of the fastening straps between the support body and fastening clamps.
  • the fastening clamps can be arched in the direction of the respective transverse side of the support body.
  • the protrusion is arcuate. It is thereby achieved that the joint and the handle are arranged somewhat set back from the transverse side of the support body. The joint and the handle are therefore also protected from undesirable external influences when the transverse sides of the support body are guided, for example, directly up to the walls or baseboards during cleaning, i.e. during the intended use of the mopping device.
  • the arched shape of the fastening clamps means that particularly short fastening straps of the wiping textile can also be securely connected to the support body.
  • the support body for receiving the fastening tabs of the wiping textile flush with the surface is essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support body on both sides of the fastening clamps with trough-shaped second depressions having, wherein the second depressions each have a depth which corresponds substantially to the thickness of the fastening tabs.
  • the clamped fastening straps are flush with the surface in the recesses.
  • the fastening tabs do not protrude beyond the surface of the support body and it is difficult for contaminants to settle in this area. This improves hygiene and the risk of getting caught by fastening straps protruding from the surface is reduced to a minimum.
  • the invention also relates to a support body for a mopping device as described above, the at least one fastening clamp being movable in a pivot plane which is arranged essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support body.
