  • engagement of the detent 170 with each detent receiver 154 may define a corresponding discrete orientation position.
  • the discharge chute 40 may pass through a series of discrete orientation positions while the detent 170 cycles through corresponding detent receivers 154.
  • movement of the lever arm 120 to the right or in a clockwise direction may cause corresponding movement of the discharge chute 40 to the right or in a clockwise direction.
  • the pulley 114 also moves to the right and pulls the second fixed cable 136 in a clockwise direction as the pulley 114 rotates.

  • the detent 170 and the detent receiver ring 150 having the detent receivers 154 may form the positioning assembly having a plurality of discrete orientations associated therewith.
  • a detent may be provided to engage detent receivers positioned on an interior of the detent receiver ring 150 instead of the external periphery.
  • the detent itself could be provided without a separate spring.
  • Other example structures could also be employed.
  • Some example embodiments may therefore enable remote operation of the orientation of a discharge chute on a snow blower or other device for ejecting material using a single or multiple stage ejection paradigm.

Claims (14)

  1. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50), umfassend: einen Schacht (40) zum Lenken von ausgeworfenem Material basierend auf einer Ausrichtung des Schachts (40);
    ein Kabelsystem (56), umfassend eine kontinuierlich geschlossene Schleife und einen Steuerkopf (54), der betriebswirksam mit dem Schacht (40) über das Kabelsystem (56) gekoppelt ist, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) die ferngesteuerte Einstellung der Ausrichtung des Schachts (40) über das Kabelsystem (56) ermöglicht, wobei die Ausrichtung des Schachts (40) durch mehrere Positionen einstellbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Positionen von einer Positionierungsanordnung am Schacht (40) fest einstellbar sind, wobei das Kabelsystem eine kontinuierliche geschlossene Schleife umfasst, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) an einem ersten Punkt der kontinuierlichen geschlossenen Schleife befestigt ist und der Schacht (40) an einem zweiten Punkt der mindestens einen kontinuierlichen geschlossenen Schleife befestigt ist, sodass die Bewegung des Steuerkopfs (54) die Bewegung der kontinuierlichen geschlossenen Schleife zum entsprechenden Bewegen des Schachts (40) einleitet.
  2. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Positionierungsanordnung passiv ist, sodass keine sekundäre Bedieneraktion erforderlich ist, um Ausrichtungseinstellungen durchzuführen.
  3. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Positionierungsanordnung eine Raste (170) umfasst, die zum lösbaren Eingriff in eine von mehreren diskreten Rastaufnahmen (154) konfiguriert ist, die jeweils den unterschiedlichen diskreten Ausrichtungen der Schachtbasis (52) des Schachts (40) entsprechen.
  4. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 3, wobei die Raste (170) durch Eingriff mit einer in der Nähe angeordneten der mehreren diskreten Rastaufnahmen (154) vorgespannt ist.
  5. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 3, wobei die mehreren diskreten Rastaufnahmen (154) auf einem Abschnitt der Schachtbasis (52) bereitgestellt sind.
  6. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) eine Riemenscheibe (114) aufweist, und wobei ein Durchmesser der Riemenscheibe (114) und ein Durchmesser einer Schachtbasis (52) des Schachts (40) im Wesentlichen gleich sind.
  7. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) einen Griff (122) aufweist, der über einen vollen Bewegungsbereich des Steuerkopfs (54) drehbar ist, ohne zu erfordern, dass ein Bediener sein Handgelenk biegen muss.
  8. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) einen Griff (122) aufweist, der drehbar mit einem Hebelarm gekoppelt ist, um eine freie Rotation des Griffs (122) in Bezug auf den Hebelarm zuzulassen, während der Hebelarm durch einen vollständigen Rotationsbereich des Steuerkopfs (54) bewegt wird.
  9. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 8, wobei eine Bewegung des Steuerkopfes (54) durch das Kabelsystem (56) übersetzt wird, um eine zugehörige Bewegung einer Schachtbasis (52) des Schachts (40) zu veranlassen, sodass die Rotation des Steuerkopfes (54) im Uhrzeigersinn oder gegen den Uhrzeigersinn von einer neutralen Position erfolgt, die einer Schachtausrichtung an der Vorderseite einer Schneefräse entspricht, an der die Anordnung montiert ist, und eine proportionale Bewegung der Schachtbasis (52) zum Verändern der Schachtausrichtung zu einer rechten Seite der Schneefräse zur Rotation im Uhrzeigersinn des Steuerkopfes (54) und zur linken Seite der Schneefräse für die Rotation gegen den Uhrzeigersinn des Steuerkopfes (54) zu bewirken.
  10. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) auf einer Ebene liegt, die parallel zu einer Ebene verläuft, in der Arme (72) einer Lenkeranordnung (70) einer Schneefräse liegen, an der die ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung befestigt ist.
  11. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach Anspruch 10, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) auf einer Konsole (80) zwischen den Armen (72) der Lenkeranordnung (70) angeordnet ist, und wobei der Steuerkopf (54) auf einer gleichen Seite der Schneefräse wie ein Bediener während des Betriebs der Schneefräse angeordnet ist.
  12. Ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Steuerkopf (54) zum Liegen auf einer Ebene angeordnet ist, die einen Winkel zwischen etwa dreißig und etwa sechzig Grad in Bezug auf einen Bediener bildet, der zum Betreiben einer Vorrichtung steht und der die ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung benutzt.
  13. Schneefräse, umfassend:
    eine Lenkeranordnung (70); und
    die ferngesteuerte Schachtrotationsanordnung (50) nach einem vorhergehenden Ansprüche.
  14. Schneefräse nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Schneefräse eine einstufige oder zweistufige Schneefräse ist.
