The object of the invention is achieved by a device according to Ansprüch1. The measures of the invention initially result in the result that the mat which can be folded over the entire body of the patient and which is divisible in the region of the longitudinal center line by means of a releasable closure optimally releases the patient for surgery after rotation. The patient himself is optimally protected before, during and after rotation by the pad, which is detachably arranged on the mat and approximates the body shape of the patient, for the patient's head, back and legs. The closures are advantageously designed as a zipper, Velcro or buckle closure. Ways to carry out the invention

Claims (11)

1. Device (10) for turning a patient (12), comprising at least the following features:

   - a mat (14) that is foldable across the entire body of a patient (12), which mat is divisible in the region of its longitudinal centerline (16) by means of a releasable fastener (18), particularly by means of a zip fastener, Velcro fastener or buckle fastener;
