Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fusion qui comporte un ensemble brûleur (8) comprenant plusieurs brûleurs (12, 13, 14) qui sont disposés sur une paroi latérale (9) d'une cuve de fusion (2) et à partir desquels des gaz combustibles sont appliqués respectivement sous un angle déterminé sur le produit (5) à fondre de sorte que plusieurs zones à apport de chaleur différent se forment. On utilise de préférence à cet effet des brûleurs fonctionnant sans flamme et/ou brûleurs mixtes air/oxygène (12, 13, 14) dans lesquels la fraction d'oxygène dans le fluide d'oxydation amené peut être réglée en fonction de paramètres mesurés dans la cuve de fusion (2). Le dispositif selon l'invention convient en particulier pour la fabrication de frittes céramiques et se caractérise par une rentabilité élevée et de faibles valeurs NOx dans les gaz brûlés.
