Abstract

The furniture (1) has two lateral armrests (2) provided with a recess (3), and a seat (4) laterally delimited by the armrests. Description

The present invention relates to a chair, in particular a chair or chair, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Seating of the type in question are furnishings and serve to accommodate a person or several people, especially sitting. Some such seating also allow at least partial lying or lying down. The known seating also has a stand-up aid device, with the help of the seating from a sitting position in a stand-up auxiliary position and vice versa adjustable. The adjustment of the chair from the sitting position in the standing-up auxiliary position or vice versa serves to assist a user when getting up or sitting down.

The Aufstehhilfsvorrichtung the known chair has an actuator and an actuating mechanism. The adjusting mechanism comprises a pedestal, a support frame, several guide levers and several traverses. The pedestal has two foot elements, which, at least in the stand-up auxiliary position of the seat, at least partially rest on a standing surface.

The actuator can be controlled by a user. By means of the actuating mechanism driven by the actuator, the seat is raised or lowered relative to the foot elements and thereby adjusted from the sitting position to the standing-up auxiliary position and vice versa.

In the known seating is now provided that in the sitting position of the chair, the foot elements are at least partially positioned within each one of the recesses.

However, the adjusting mechanism and the actuator are arranged in the known seating in the space below the seat between the two armrests. In particular, the actuator is positioned centrally in the direction of the seat width as well as in the direction of the seat depth below the seat. In the direction of the seat height, the actuator extends from the floor space to just below the seat.

Furthermore, parts of the adjusting mechanism, in particular a plurality of cross members, and parts of the pedestal, in particular a foot cross member, extend in the direction of the seat width between the two armrests. Further parts of the adjusting mechanism, in particular a plurality of guide levers and support profiles, and further parts of the pedestal, in particular a plurality of holding plates are arranged in the region of the mutually facing inner sides of the armrests, but outside the armrests.

Overall, therefore, the actuator, the adjusting mechanism and parts of the pedestal of the known chair are positioned in the space below the seat between the two armrests.

Object of the present invention is to improve the known seating with respect to the arrangement and design of the Aufstehhilfsvorrichtung.

The above-described task is solved by the chair according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The basic idea of the present invention is to integrate the actuator or the actuators and at least parts of the control mechanism in the two armrests.

The built-in armrests components of the stand-up aid are, at least in the seating position of the chair, not visible to a user. This improves the visual impression or creates a pleasing impression, even if no screens are installed.

Due to the inventive arrangement of the actuator or the actuators and the adjusting mechanism are deposited on the built-in armrests components of the Aufstehhilfsvorrichtung no dirt particles from or the deposition of dirt particles is reduced to these components. The structural design of the Aufstehhilfsvorrichtung can take very different forms. There must be at least one actuator.

If only one actuator is present, then this is to be arranged in a recess of one of the two armrests. Then, a first part of the actuating mechanism is arranged in this recess. The term "seat", as used in the context of the present invention, refers to the area of the seat that is at least mainly intended to serve as seating, that is designed so that one person or several persons can sit on it. The seat can also be designed such that one person or several persons can assume a lying and / or a half-lying posture. The seat may be upholstered and / or one or more cushions and / or seat cushions may be disposed on the seat.

In the context of the present invention, the seat is characterized by the dimensional terms "seat width", "seat depth" and "seat height". To explain these terms, see below Fig. 1 the drawing reference. The term "sitting position" as used in the present invention means a position of the chair in which the seating is for the purpose of sitting, lying down or half-fulfilled. Typically, the seat in the sitting position is oriented substantially horizontally in the direction of the seat depth. The sitting position represents the basic position of the chair.

The term "stand-up assist position" as used in the present invention is to be understood to mean that the seat occupies a position such that a user occupies a more upright position than sitting, lying down or lying down. The stand-up auxiliary position can be designed so that the user stands (almost) upright in this position. Typically, the seat is raised in the standing-up auxiliary position, ie raised in the direction of the seat height, and / or tilted forward or inclined downwards in the direction of the seat depth.

The chair 1 has two lateral armrests 2, each with a recess 3, a seat 4 and a backrest 5.
