Claims (15)

  1. Seating/reclining furniture comprising a drive (29); a frame (11) for support on the floor; and a seat part (15) which is supported by the frame (11) at a spacing from the floor, which has a seating surface (13) and which has a seat cushion (17) and an adjustable leg rest (19),
    wherein the leg rest (19) is adjustable relative to the seat cushion (17) between a passive position and an active position by means of a fitting (21), which is attached to the seat part (15) or to the frame (11) with one end and whose other end is configured as a support section (23) which supports the leg rest (19) or itself forms at least a part of the leg rest, wherein the leg rest (19) comprises a flexible support (27) which extends from the support section (23) of the fitting (21) at least up to the front end of the seat cushion (17), wherein, in the passive position, the support (27) is laid around a front edge of the seat cushion (17) and covers a front side of the seat cushion (17); and
    wherein, in the passive position, the support section (23) is located beneath a plane defined by the seating surface (13) in the region of the front end of the seat cushion (17) and, in the active position, the support section (23) is located in a raised position at a spacing from the front end of the seat cushion (17), wherein, in the active position, the support section (23) is located at least approximately at the level of the plane defined by the seating surface (13) and is oriented at least approximately in parallel with the plane defined by the seating surface (13);
    wherein the support section (23) at least approximately describes a quarter circle during its movement between the passive position and the active position, wherein the support section (23) of the fitting (21) is oriented at least approximately vertically in the passive position; and
    wherein the fitting (21) comprises at least two part fittings which are spaced apart from one another in the transverse direction and which can be adjusted synchronously, wherein the adjustment movements of the part fittings can be synchronized by the drive (29), which comprises a drive shaft (31) extending in the transverse direction and forming the lowest point of the fitting (21) both in the passive position and in the active position, wherein the fitting (21) is located completely above the drive shaft (31).
  2. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 1,
    wherein a back part (25) is provided which, in order to change the seat depth, is adjustable between a front position for which the passive position of the leg rest (19) is provided and a rear position for which the active position of the leg rest (19) is provided.
  3. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 1 or 2,
    wherein, in the active position, the support section (23) is raised relative to the passive position at least approximately by the height of the seat cushion (17).
  4. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the fitting (21) comprises a scissor fitting which is folded together in the passive position and extended in the active position, and/or wherein, in the passive position, the fitting (21) is arranged beneath the seat cushion (17) and above a furniture underside which is defined by the frame (11) or the seat part (15) and which is spaced apart from the floor.
  5. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the support (27) covers the seat cushion (17) and extends at least up to a back part (25) or at least up to the rear end of the seat cushion (17).
  6. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 5,
    wherein the support (27) is formed as a cover or as an upholstered support for the seat cushion (17), and/or wherein the support (27) is tensioned or kept crease-free by the support section (23) of the fitting (21) at least in the active position, and/or wherein the support (27) is tensioned or kept crease-free by the support section (23) of the fitting (21) in the passive position.
  7. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the support section (23) is at least approximately compulsorily guided on a circular path between the passive position and the active position, and/or wherein the support section (23) of the fitting (21) comprises a rigid carrier which extends in the transverse direction over at least a portion of the width of the seat part (15) and which has a support surface that faces to the front in the passive position and faces upward in the active position.
  8. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the leg rest (19) is adjustable by a motor, and/or wherein the leg rest (19) extends at least substantially over the entire width of the seat part (15), and/or wherein the length of the leg rest (19) in the transverse direction is greater than the depth of the seat part (15).
  9. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the drive shaft (31) can be set into rotation by a drive motor (33), in particular wherein the drive motor (33) is supported at the seat part (15) or at the frame (11).
  10. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 9,
    wherein each part fitting comprises at least one control lever (35) which engages with one end at an adjustment lever arrangement comprising the support section (23) and which is connected in an articulated manner with the other end to a drive link (37) rotationally fixedly connected to a common drive shaft (31), and/or wherein each part fitting is located completely above a common drive shaft (31) both in the passive position and in the active position, but not in each intermediate position.
  11. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the fitting is configured for a compulsory guidance of the support section.
  12. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the fitting (21) or each part fitting has an adjustment lever arrangement which comprises a front lever pair (41, 43) forming or supporting at least a part of the support section (23) and a rear lever pair (45, 47) attached to the seat part (15) or the frame (11), wherein the two lever pairs are connected in an articulated manner to one another, in particular wherein the levers (41, 43) of the rear lever pair are each connected in an articulated manner beneath the seat cushion (17) and set back from the front end of the seat cushion (17).
  13. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with claim 12,
    wherein the levers (41, 43, 45, 47) of the two lever pairs are connected in an articulated manner to one another at three points (51, 53, 55), and/or wherein the pairwise spacings of the articulation points (51, 53, 55), at which the levers (41, 43, 45, 47) of the two lever pairs are connected in an articulated manner to one another, are each smaller than the spacing between the two articulation points at the end regions of each lever, and/or wherein the one lever (43, 45) of each lever pair is connected in an articulated manner to both levers of the other lever pair and the other lever (41, 47) of each lever pair is connected in an articulated manner only to one lever of the other lever pair, in particular wherein, in the active position, it is the lower lever (43) in the front lever pair and the upper lever (45) in the rear lever pair that is connected in an articulated manner to both levers of the respective other lever pair.
  14. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with one of the claims 12 or 13,
    wherein a control lever (35) which can be actuated by means of a drive (29) engages at the rear lever pair (45, 47), and/or wherein the control lever (35) only engages at one lever (45) of one of the lever pairs, and/or wherein the control lever (35) engages at one lever (45) of the one lever pair which is connected in an articulated manner to both levers (41, 43) of the other lever pair.
  15. Seating/reclining furniture in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
    wherein the fitting (21) or each part fitting has an adjustment lever arrangement comprising a plurality of levers (41, 43, 45, 47) which are movable relative to one another and which overlap with one another such that no intermediate spaces arise between the levers (41, 43, 45, 47) that close during adjustment and that would allow a pushing through of one or more fingers of a user.
