  1. An installation for manufacturing beams by extrusion, including:

    - each rear end of a longitudinal member (2) of the grid (1) includes a lowered step (9) at least partly at the height of the upper faces of the beams to be produced;

  2. An installation according to claim 1 further including a transversely oriented second ski resting on the steps (9) of the longitudinal members (2) and means for driving this second ski with a transverse reciprocating movement in phase opposition with the other ski as the grid (1) advances along the deck.
  3. An installation according to either one of the preceding claims wherein each transverse ski is inclined so that its front edge, relative to the direction in which the grid advances along the deck, is higher than its rear edge.
