Claims (13)

  1. Tambour (7) à dépression prévu pour transférer au moins une étiquette (2a, 2b) le long d'un trajet donné (P) autour d'un axe de rotation (A), comportant :
    - un corps principal (9) délimité par une surface latérale extérieure (11) qui est prévue pour recevoir ladite étiquette (2a, 2b) à transférer ;
    - une pluralité d'orifices (10a, 10b) d'air définis par ladite surface (11) et pouvant être reliés à une source (22) de vide ;
    - des moyens (30) de commande configurés pour relier sélectivement, d'après un format sélectionné de l'étiquette (2a, 2b) à transférer le long dudit trajet (P), un nombre donné desdits orifices (10b) d'air à ladite source (22) de vide, lorsque lesdits orifices (10b) d'air dudit nombre donné sont disposés entre un poste (3, 4) d'entrée et de sortie dudit trajet (P), de façon à transférer ladite étiquette (2a, 2b) le long dudit trajet (P) ;
    caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens (30) de commande comportent une pluralité de soupapes (32) commandables par une unité (31) de commande desdits moyens (30) de commande d'après ledit format sélectionné pour permettre un écoulement d'air entre ladite source (22) de vide et uniquement ledit nombre donné d'orifices (10b) d'air.
  2. Tambour à dépression selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une desdites soupapes (32) est une micro-soupape en silicium.
  3. Tambour à dépression selon les revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une pluralité de passages (8) d'air dont chacun possède une première extrémité reliée à l'un correspondant desdits orifices (10a, 10b) d'air et une deuxième extrémité, opposée à ladite première extrémité, pouvant être reliée à ladite source (22) de vide ;
    chacune desdites soupapes (32) étant interposée le long d'un passage (8) d'air correspondant.
  4. Tambour à dépression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ladite surface (11) est cylindrique.
  5. Tambour à dépression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que ledit nombre donné d'orifices (10b) d'air forme, en cours d'utilisation, un motif associé audit format sélectionné de ladite étiquette (2a, 2b).
  6. Tambour à dépression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une pluralité de canalisations fluidiques (12) reliées chacune à un nombre respectif desdits passages (8) d'air et pouvant être reliées à ladite source (22) de vide pour chacune de toutes les positions angulaires dudit tambour (7) à dépression autour dudit axe (A).
  7. Système (1) de transfert à dépression comportant :
    - un organe distributeur (5) fixe renfermant ladite source (22) de vide ; et
    - un tambour (7) à dépression selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, et mobile par rapport audit organe distributeur (5).
  8. Système de transfert à dépression selon la revendication 7, lorsqu'elle est dépendante de la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une bague (35) de glissement pneumatique servant à relier fluidiquement ladite source (22) de vide et lesdites canalisations fluidiques (12) pour chacune de toutes les positions angulaires dudit tambour (7) autour dudit axe (A).
  9. Ensemble de transfert à dépression selon la revendication 7 ou 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une interface homme-machine (36) fixe servant à recevoir une indication associée audit format de ladite étiquette (2a, 2b) à transférer, et reliée électriquement auxdits moyens (30) de commande.
  10. Procédé de transfert d'au moins une étiquette (2a, 2b) le long d'un trajet donné (P) autour d'un axe de rotation (A), en utilisant un tambour (7) à dépression comportant :
    - un corps principal (9) délimité par une surface latérale extérieure (11) ; et
    - une pluralité d'orifices (10a, 10b) d'air définis par ladite surface (11) ;
    ledit procédé comportant les étapes consistant à :
    - entraîner en rotation ledit tambour (7) à dépression autour dudit axe (A) ; et
    - recevoir ladite étiquette (2a, 2b) au niveau de ladite surface latérale extérieure (11) ;
    - sélectionner un nombre donné desdits orifices (10b) d'air, d'après un format sélectionné de l'étiquette (2a, 2b) à transférer ; et
    - établir un vide uniquement à travers ledit nombre donné d'orifices (10b) d'air, lorsque des orifices (10b) d'air dudit nombre donné se trouvent entre un poste (4) d'entrée et un poste (5) de sortie dudit trajet (P) ;
    caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte l'étape consistant à :
    - commander une pluralité de soupapes (32) au moyen d'une unité (31) de commande de moyens (30) de commande d'après ledit format sélectionné pour permettre un écoulement d'air entre ladite source (22) de vide et uniquement ledit nombre donné d'orifices (10b) d'air.
  11. Procédé selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape d'établissement comporte l'étape consistant à relier fluidiquement uniquement lesdits orifices (10b) d'air dudit nombre donné à une source (22) de vide, lorsque lesdits orifices (10b) d'air dudit nombre donné se trouvent entre un poste (4) d'entrée et un poste (5) de sortie dudit trajet (P).
  12. Procédé selon la revendication 10 ou 11, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape de sélection comporte l'étape consistant à sélectionner ceux des orifices (10b) d'air qui forment un motif associé au format de ladite étiquette (2a, 2b) à transférer.
  13. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 10 à 12, caractérisé en ce que ladite étape d'établissement du vide comporte des étapes consistant à :
    - relier fluidiquement une pluralité de canalisations fluidiques (12) à ladite source (22) de vide, pour chacune de toutes les positions angulaires dudit tambour (7) à dépression autour dudit axe (A) ; et
    - relier fluidiquement uniquement ledit nombre donné d'orifices (10b) d'air auxdites canalisations fluidiques (12).
