Befindet sich der Türschließer beispielhaft am Türblatt, so wird die Kraft von der Abtriebswelle des Türschließers über einen Hebel auf ein Gleitstück übertragen. Dieses Gleitstück ist in einer Führungsschiene, die sich ortsfest an Wand oder Zarge befindet, linear beweglich geführt.
