Description

The invention relates to an electric door opener for glass doors with a pivotable door opener trap, which has a holder, and with a counter-holder, wherein the holder and the counter-holder define a receiving area for receiving a glass door leaf.

Door openers are known to be used in door closures of residential or office buildings. In general, electrical door openers on a pivotal latch, which can be released or locked by means of a locking lever (change) by an electrical actuator, in particular an electromagnet. Such a door opener is for example from the EP 0 851 077 A1 known. In these door openers, the pivot latch is designed specifically for receiving a displaceable locking element, such as in particular a firing lock latch, a door lock opposite the door lock arranged. To be able to adapt the door opener to different installation conditions and / or a changing relative position of the pivoting latch to the locking element, in the prior art further swivel traps for such door openers are described which have an adjustable stop element on the pivoting latch. This is for example in the case of the swivel traps DE 33 08 154 A1 . DE 2 056 351 A , of the DE 196 42 924 C1 , of the DE 20 2004 007 910 U1 , of the EP 0 851 077 A1 and the DE 101 18 049 A1 the case.

For design reasons, glass doors have increasingly been used in recent years for installation in buildings. The term glass doors is understood in the following to be doors in which the door leaf is made of glass. In addition, the door frame can be made of glass, which is then often called so-called full glass doors. For glass doors suitable door openers are for example from the FR 1 260 094 A , of the DE 29 04 995 A1 and the DE 1 653 978 B known. Due to the special material and shape properties of glass doors, the door openers must be adapted accordingly. For example, the DE 29 04 995 A1 and the DE 1 653 978 B form a receiving area on the door opener trap, in which a part of the edge region of a glass door leaf can be accommodated. To limit this receiving area, it is also known from these publications, to arrange a holder on the pivot latch and on the case or the door opener housing a counter-holder. The holder and the anvil abut each other on opposite sides of the door leaf edge, so that sets a kind encompassing the door leaf edge through the receiving area. Holder and counter-holder can for example be formed by protruding from the trap or door opener protrusions. If the pivot latch is locked, the glass door leaf is thereby held by the receiving area and can not slide out of the trap. Upon release of the case, this is pivotable and the glass door leaf can slide out of this. Frequently, the case body is acted upon by a spring force, so that the pivot latch remains in the pivoted position until the door leaf slides into the receiving area and presses the pivotal latch in the closed position against the spring force. Alternatively, leave the FR 1 260 094 A the installation of a latch box and a door opener opposite this in the baseboard of a glass door leaf out. However, this embodiment does not allow an engagement of the glass door leaf per se in the receiving area of the door opener.

Due to the variety of types and the special requirements that are placed on door openers for glass doors due to the material, problems arise during assembly and storage.

The invention has for its object to provide a door opener of the type mentioned, which is as easy to assemble and can be used for a large number of types of glass doors. This object is achieved according to the independent claim, characterized in that the arranged on the pivotable door opener holder is adjustable, so that the width of the receiving area is adjustable. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

The basic idea of the invention is to make at least the holder movable, so that the width of the receiving region is flexibly adjustable. Thus, the receiving area width can each be adjusted so that it corresponds substantially to the thickness of the glass door leaf to be picked up. This ensures that there is always enough clearance between the door leaf and holder or counterholder, so that a trouble-free in and out slide the door leaf in and is guaranteed from the receiving area. At the same time, however, it is also prevented that there is too much play, as a result of which the door leaf is moved back and forth in the case and could possibly be damaged as a result. Also, too great a game reduces the tightness of the door. Furthermore, optimally adjusted play minimizes annoying rattling noises, making the door opening or closing operation quieter. A further advantage of the invention is that the storage can be reduced, since the adjustability of the receiving area allows to use a case for several glass doors with different glass thicknesses. Also, the installation of the door opener is simplified because the receiving area at the installation can be customized and not extra the entire door opener must be replaced.

To avoid jamming during insertion of the door in the receiving area, the counter-holder can be resiliently mounted. Also, the door opener may be designed so that it is fixed in position adjustable by means of slots on a strike plate. The slots can be formed either on the door opener or on the strike plate.

In a preferred embodiment, the receiving area is formed substantially U-shaped. The formation of the receiving area in this form is convenient because it corresponds with most standard profiles of glass doors and the receiving area and the door leaf so best can interact. A U-leg is expediently formed in this embodiment by the holder and the other U-legs of the counter-holder. The area connecting the two U-legs can be formed either by the case body, the holder or the counter-holder. By the U-shaped design of the receiving area can be ensured that there is a secure embrace of the edge of the door leaf in the closed position.

In a further preferred embodiment, the holder is formed with an L-shaped profile. The one L-leg serves the lateral boundary of the receiving area and the other leg serves as a guide surface and is applied to the case body. Particularly preferably, the holder is used with the L-shaped profile in a U-shaped receiving area, wherein an L-leg of the holder forms the connection between the two U-legs of the receiving area and thus opposite in the closed position of the end face of the door leaf.

Conveniently, the movement of the holder during the adjustment is substantially linear. If the receiving area is U-shaped, it is furthermore expedient for the holder to be movable along the plane of the receiving area connecting the two U-legs. In this way, one U-leg of the receiving area can be moved parallel to the other U-leg, whereby the receiving area width is adjustable. In a further preferred embodiment, the holder is slidably attached to the case body. As a result, the adjustment of the holder for adjustability of the receiving area width can be carried out particularly easily. The slidable attachment of the holder to the latch body can be designed so that the holder can be moved directly adjacent to the latch body along the surface of the latch body. Appropriately, the two contact surfaces of the holder and the case body are flat in this embodiment. However, the displacement can for example also take place in that the holder is removed from an original position of the case body and is remounted at a laterally offset from the original position new position. The attachment is made so that the system of the holder on the case body is always secured and this can not be detached from the case body. Furthermore, it is expedient to perform the attachment so that the holder can be locked in the adjustment in one position. This lock is releasably carried out, so that the holder can be adjusted to another position and locked there again.

In a further preferred embodiment, the holder is fastened by means of a screw connection to the case body. In this case, suitable breakthroughs are to be formed on the holder and screw holes corresponding to the perforations on the case body can be screwed by means of which the holder can be screwed onto the case body. The adjustability of the holder can be achieved by several Screw holes are arranged on the case body, so that the holder can be unscrewed from one position and screwed in the next position in other screw holes again. Preferably, the adjustability of the holder is achieved in that elongated holes are provided as openings in the holder. The slots are to be arranged so that their longitudinal axis corresponds substantially with the adjustment of the holder. As a result, the handling is improved because the screws are not completely unscrewed from the case body, but only need to be solved easily and is already adjustable after a slight release of the holder or displaced. Furthermore, given by the slots a guide when moving the holder. Also, the use of elongated holes allows continuous adjustment, whereas, for example, when using multiple screw holes on the latch body is limited to certain positions of the holder.

In a preferred embodiment, the holder is incremental, that is, gradually, adjustable. The door opener is to be designed so that certain adjustment steps are predetermined, between which the holder is adjustable. In this context, it is preferred that the adjustment steps are adapted so that the recording range widths generated by the respective adjustment steps are adapted to the thicknesses of standardized glass door leaves. Standards for the door leaf thicknesses are for example 9, 10, 12 or 15 mm. As a result, the handling is improved so that the adjustment of the door opener on the optimal receiving area width for each existing glass door simplified by adjusting the holder can be done in the corresponding with the glass door adjustment stage for an assembly person. To further simplify the handling of markings on the holder or on the case body may be present, indicating which standard dimension corresponds to the respective adjustment stage.

Particularly preferably, the stepwise adjustability of the holder is achieved in that a toothed grid between the holder and the case body is formed. Both surfaces in contact with each other are thus provided with teeth that interlock. To adjust the holder, the locking of the holder, such as a screw with slots, solved. Thereafter, the holder can be brought into a new position and then locked again. The tooth surfaces on the holder and the case body are substantially identical in shape and the distance between two teeth in the adjustment direction predetermines the length of an adjustment step. The advantage here is that a tooth grid is simple and inexpensive to manufacture and thereby the adjustment can be specified precisely in a simple manner.

In a further preferred embodiment, an adjusting screw is provided on the door opener. The adjusting screw is connected by means of a suitable gear with the holder in such a way that the holder is adjusted by operating the adjusting screw. Appropriately, the screw is aligned parallel to the direction of the holder. As a result, a continuous, continuous adjustment is given, so that the door opener can be optimally adapted to non-standard, custom-made glass doors.

In order to further reduce the noise level of the door during the closing or opening operation, it is expedient to arrange an elastomeric material at least on one of the sides of the receiving area, which faces the glass door leaf in the closed position. Preferably, the elastomeric material is formed in the manner of a coating on at least one of the walls. Particularly preferably, the elastomeric material is arranged on the inner sides of the holder and / or the counter-holder. As the elastomeric material, for example, a sealing rubber can be used. Another advantage of this embodiment is a reduction in the risk of breakage of the glass door leaf, since the stop of the door leaf on the holder or on the counter-holder is damped by the elastomeric material. Furthermore, the tightness of the door opener is improved.

In order to use the door opener for the widest possible range of glass doors of different glass thicknesses, it is preferable to provide several different and interchangeable holders. The holders are dimensioned so that each holder is adjustable within a different interval of the receiving area width. The length of each adjustment of the respective holder can be the same or different. Thus, it is preferred, for example, to provide a door opener with two interchangeable holders, with both holders of the adjustment is a maximum of 3 mm. The one holder is designed so that take-up ranges in the range of 9 to 12 mm, resulting in the other holder receiving range widths of 13 to 16 mm. For example, if a screw with slots used for sliding attachment of the holder on the case body, the holder can be easily replaced by loosening and then fixing the screw. Thus, the holders are easily replaceable at the installation of appropriate installation personnel.

In a further preferred embodiment, the receiving area is U-shaped and the door opener is provided with a door opener cover. Furthermore, the U-legs of the receiving area are aligned so that they are arranged in the closed position substantially in a plane parallel to the door opener cover. Such an arrangement has the advantage that the door opener on thin supports, such as other glass door panels, can be mounted and the receiving area is still aligned so that it can accommodate the glass door to be included.

In the embodiments shown below, the same components are provided with the same reference numerals.

In Fig. 1 the sectional view of a door opener 10 is shown for glass doors. The door opener 10 is in the closed position. The door opener latch 11 is pivotably mounted on a pivot axis 17. The door opener 10 comprises a door opener housing 15 in which the latch 11 is arranged. The door opener latch 11 consists of a latch body 12 and a L-shaped holder 13 whose one L-arm 13a forms a U-leg of the U-shaped receiving portion 20 and the other L-arm 13b serves as a bearing surface and rests against the latch body 12 , The contact surfaces of the arm 13b and the case body 12, which are adjacent to each other, are formed as a toothed raster 18. Along the tooth grid 18, the holder 13 can be adjusted, wherein the tooth spacing between two teeth in each case sets the length of an adjustment step.

The U-shaped receiving area 20 is also bounded by the arm 13b and the counter-holder 14 in addition to the arm 13a of the holder 13, wherein the counter-holder 14 and the arm 13a form the U-legs of the receiving area. The counter-holder 14 is formed as a voltage applied to one side of the case body 12 and projecting from the door opener 10 stop plate. Furthermore, the counter-holder 14 is fixedly attached to the case body 12 and thus pivotable together with this. Within the receiving area 20 is the edge region of a glass door leaf 16. Der vom Receiving area 20 encompassed edge region of the door leaf 16 has laterally and frontally clearance against the boundaries of the receiving area 20. The game is adjusted so that an optimal sliding in and out of the door 16 into the receiving area 20 and out of the receiving area 20 can be achieved.

Bei umgekehrter Bewegungsrichtung vergrößert sich die Breite des Aufnahmebereichs 20.The holder 13 is connected by means of a screw connection with oblong holes (not shown here) with the latch body 12. By solving this screw connection, it is possible to move the holder 13 transversely to the glass door leaf 16 and thereby to increase or decrease the width of the receiving area 20. If the arm 13b moves in the axial direction to the counter-holder 14, the width of the receiving area is reduced. In the reverse direction of movement, the width of the receiving area 20 increases.

In Fig. 2 is the door opener off Fig. 1 shown, wherein the pivot latch 11 is in the pivoted state. By means of a suitable position indicator (not shown here), the door opener latch 11 was released and could swing out of the housing 15. As a result, the door leaf 16 is released and can slide out of the receiving area 20. The width of the receiving area 20 is adapted to the thickness of the door leaf 16 so that the clean and the sliding out of the door leaf 16 into and out of the receiving area 20 without tearing on the holder 13 or the anvil 14 takes place.

In the Fig. 3 The illustration essentially shows the illustration Fig. 1 , wherein in each case a damping rubber 19 is attached to the inner sides of the arm 13a and the counter-holder 14. In the closed position, the play between the arm 13 a of the holder 13 and the counter-holder 14 and the door leaf 16 is filled by the sealing rubber 19. This reduces the noise that occurs when opening and closing the door. Furthermore, the tightness of the door opener 10 is improved and reduces the risk of damage to the glass door leaf 16.

Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of an electric door opener 10 for glass doors in perspective view. The receiving area 20 is also U-shaped and similar to the receiving area of the door opener from the FIGS. 1 to 3 educated. The holder 13 is L-shaped and the contact surface to the latch body 12 is formed as a toothed grid 18. The holder 13 is fastened to the latch body 12 with a screw connection 22. The screw 22 includes two slots 23 whose longitudinal axis extends transversely to the door opener 10. The anvil 14 is in contrast to the door opener from the Fig. 1 to 3 not attached to the case body 12, but on the door opener housing 15 and thus does not pivot when pivoting the case 11. Furthermore, the case 11 is aligned so that the U-legs of the receiving area 20 are coplanar with the door opener cover 21. The door opener cover 21 protrudes beyond the door opener housing 15 at least on one end face and closes off the door opener 10. By this orientation of the latch 11, the door opener 10 can be mounted on a relatively thin support, for example a wing of a double-leaf glass door. At the same time the latch 11 is aligned to receive the other wing of the double-leaf glass door in the receiving area 20.

In the arm 13b of the holder 13 is formed between the two slots 23 of the screw 22 another slot 23 'through which a mounted on the case body locking pin 24 protrudes approximately parallel to the legs of the receiving portion 20 from the case body 12. The arrangement of the elongated hole 23 'allows the holder 13 can be adjusted without being blocked by the locking pin 24. The slot 23 'is the same shape formed to the slots 23 and aligned in accordance with this. After receiving a door leaf (not shown here), the locking pin 24 is pressed by the end face of the received door leaf edge area in the case body 12, whereby a locking mechanism is triggered. The locking pin 24 is adjusted so that the door triggers the locking mechanism in the moment in which the latch 11 is fully pivoted into the door opener housing 15. Only by pressing the position indicator (not shown here), the locking mechanism is released again and the case 11 is released for pivoting. In order to ensure a precise switching of the locking pin 24, an optimally adjusted clearance between the door leaf face and arm 13b of the holder 14 in the closed position is required. Good results can be achieved if the maximum play is not more than 3 mm.

In the in Fig. 4 As shown, the width of the receiving region 20 is in the minimum range, ie the outer edge of the longitudinal side of the arm 13b of the holder 13 abuts against the inner surface of the counter-holder 14. To increase the width of the receiving area 20, the holder 13 would have to be moved away from the counter holder 14 to the outside.

In the Fig. 5 The illustration shown shows the door opener Fig. 4 , wherein the pivoting latch 11 is in the pivoted state. Since the counter-holder 14 is fixed to the door opener housing 15, it is stationary and does not pivot with the pivoting latch 11 with.

The Fig. 6 and 7 show the door opener from the Fig. 4 and 5 , wherein the holder 13 has been adjusted, so that now results in a maximum width of the receiving area 20. The maximum displacement is determined by the dimensions of the slots 23.
