Abstract

La présente invention concerne un piston (10, 110, 210) pour moteur à combustion interne, comprenant un premier élément de piston (11) et un second élément de piston (12), le premier élément de piston (11) et le second élément de piston (12) formant un canal de refroidissement (23) périphérique, lequel canal est ouvert en direction du second élément de piston et fermé au moyen d'un élément de fermeture périphérique. Selon l'invention, l'élément de fermeture (25, 125, 225) est relié au premier élément de piston 11) et s'étend radialement en direction du second élément de piston (12); le second élément de piston (12) comporte un rebord d'appui (26, 126, 226) périphérique, qui s'étend radialement en direction du premier élément de piston (11), et l'élément de fermeture (25, 125, 225) repose sur le rebord d'appui (26, 126, 226) ou ledit élément de fermeture (325) s'appuie sur une face frontale (331) du rebord d'appui (326) par un bord inférieur (329) périphérique.
