Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mobile screen with a rolling fabric, of the window covering or projection screen type, provided with a motorized winding means and in which the motorized winding means moves vertically during an electrical activation of this winding means.
  • the invention relates more specifically to a motorized operating device intended for operating a mobile screen with a rollable fabric of a window covering device or projection screen and to a window covering device or screen projection comprising such an operating device.
  • a mobile screen with roll-up fabric is described in the patent US 7,089,991 .
  • Synchronized drive means arranged at the two ends of a load bar cooperate with rails provided with racks.
  • the screen is fixed by a first end to the load bar, and by a second end to a winding tube provided with a winding spring and arranged in an upper box.
  • This arrangement requires two motorizations: one electric in the load bar, the other mechanical in the winding tube. It also requires a relationship between the load bar and the frame, that is to say here the slides provided with racks.
  • the mobile screen is of the Venetian blind type, as described in the patent US 7,264,034 .
  • the mobile screen is stacked more or less above a motorized load bar, comprising means for winding a cord fixed to an upper box and means for supplying energy in the form of batteries.
  • the invention aims to allow a direct winding of the fabric on the motorized winding means and only thereon, which requires the recovery of a variable tilting torque according to the winding of the fabric and to be able to avoid the unwinding thereof when the motorized winding means is not activated.
  • an external blind comprising a screen with canvas that can be rolled up on a system for winding the canvas located at the bottom of the screen.
  • the winding system is arranged so as to rub against the structure of the building equipped by the blind.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a device for operating a screen overcoming the drawbacks mentioned and improving the operating devices known from the prior art.
  • the invention provides a simple architecture maneuvering device that does not require lateral guiding means and a torque recovery without action on the frame on which the screen is mounted.
  • the device is defined by claim 1.
  • the dependent claims 2 to 14 define different embodiments of the device.
  • the figure 1 shows, in cross section and arranged on a frame 10, a device 1 for window covering or projection screen 1, shown according to a first embodiment of the invention.
  • the device 1 for covering a window or a projection screen comprises a mobile screen with a rollable fabric 2 and a motorized operating device 100 intended for maneuvering the rollable fabric 2.
  • the fabric is fixed to the frame by a second fastening means 3 of an upper end of the fabric.
  • the motorized device is intended to be connected to the frame 10 exclusively by the canvas.
  • the motorized device is intended to be suspended exclusively by the canvas.
  • This fabric is also in mechanical connection with the frame.
  • the window covering or projection screen device according to the invention is intended to be only in connection with the building which it equips with the end of the canvas. No other contact or link between the window or screen covering device and the building exists. Consequently, the motorized device is intended to be only in connection with the fabric. No contact or liaison between the motorized device and the building does not exist. Thus, it is possible to very effectively attenuate the vibrations transmitted to the structure of the building.
  • this configuration of motorized device suspended only by the fabric and without any other contact with the frame has in particular the following advantages: absence of friction, sliding, rolling or even twists of the fabric (or of any other element of the motorized device) on the frame .
  • the canvas is preserved from possible damage to contact with the frame or from premature wear or aging.
  • This configuration also makes it possible to avoid the transmission of structure-borne noise to the frame. It also makes it possible to obtain a stretched and vertical fabric configuration. Insofar as these installations are intended for solar protection from inside the building, contact with the frame is also not necessary to keep the motorized device at rest.
  • the canvas must be held at its upper end on the frame using a support or piece spacing, the length of which, taken perpendicular to the frame, is at least greater than the maximum winding radius, or even at least greater than the radius of a casing surrounding the wound fabric.
  • the support of the fabric at the level of the frame is such that it allows an unwinding of the fabric without contact with the frame.
  • a lower end of the fabric is fixed to the winding tube 4 containing at least partially the actuator 5 by the first fixing means 6.
  • the actuator is shown in transparency.
  • actuator 5 Two alternative embodiments of actuator 5 are described below in relation to the figures 7 and 8 .
  • the winding tube and the actuator have the same first axis of rotation, denoted X1-X'1, perpendicular to the plane of the figure 1 and represented by a cross.
  • R1 denotes the largest winding radius of the fabric, that is to say when the fabric is completely wound on the winding tube.
  • the figure 1 is shown in a partially wound configuration of the fabric on the winding tube. At this stage, it is understood that, due to the gravity and therefore in particular the weight of the winding tube, the rolled up fabric and the actuator, there is a tilting or unwinding torque tending to cause the rotation of the 'together in the direction shown by an arrow A0, and therefore tending to cause the unwinding of the fabric.
  • tilting or unwinding torque is not constant for two cumulative reasons: it increases both with the mass of fabric wound and with the diameter of the winding.
  • the total mass of the winding tube and the actuator is not too large, this in order to minimize the energy consumption during a winding maneuver.
  • This mass should not be too low either, in order to guarantee a good tension of the fabric, without visible folds.
  • the diameter of the tube is not too large, in order both to avoid visual inconvenience in an intermediate stop position, to avoid a high reduction ratio in the actuator members , to avoid a higher material cost.
  • the variation in diameter can be significant between a fully unwound situation and a fully wound situation, for example an increase of 150%.
  • the tilting torque can vary for example in a ratio of simple to triple, which is considerable.
  • the motorized operating device is provided with means for stopping or compensating for the unwinding torque.
  • the actuator 5 is connected to a lateral element 7, outside the winding tube.
  • the lateral element extends at least substantially perpendicular to the first axis, in a lateral direction represented by a rectilinear dotted line, over a distance R2 greater than the largest winding radius of the fabric.
  • the distance R2 is at least twice the largest winding radius R1.
  • an additional mass 8 is also connected to the lateral element 7, preferably as far as possible from the first axis and whose center of gravity is at least at a distance R3 greater than the largest winding radius.
  • the additional mass has a cylindrical shape (any base, for example: elliptical, circular or rectangular) along a second axis denoted X2-X2 'parallel to the first axis.
  • the stop means is constituted by the lateral element and by the additional mass. Its operation is detailed by the figure 2 .
  • the figure 2 represents the forces acting on elements of the motorized maneuvering device at the level of the first axis and the second axis in the situation of the figure 1 .
  • the mass of the lateral means is negligible relative to the mass of the winding tube, of the actuator, of the wound fabric and of the additional mass. It is also assumed that the center of gravity of the additional mass is on the second axis.
  • a first weight P1 corresponds to the action of gravity on the mass of the winding tube, the mass of the actuator and the mass of the wound fabric.
  • a second weight P2 corresponds to the action of gravity on the additional mass.
  • D1 denotes the current value of the winding radius and O1 a point on a horizontal axis Y1-Y1 ', perpendicular and intersecting the first axis, located at the end of the winding radius.
  • D2 denote by D2 the distance between point O1 and a vertical passing through the second axis.
  • the point O1 is the center of rotation.
  • the second weight P2 having a constant value, it is the value of the distance D2 which serves as an adjustment variable so that this relationship is verified for a given couple of first weight and current value of the winding radius.
  • This adjustment is carried out automatically by variation of an angle ⁇ between the vertical and the lateral direction: the more the mass of rolled up fabric increases and the more the current value of the rolling radius increases the more it is necessary that D2 increases and the lateral direction tends to get closer to the horizontal.
  • the device according to the invention is therefore capable, if it is correctly dimensioned, of automatically compensating for the cumulative variation in wound mass and in winding radius.
  • the designer ensures that the previous relationship can be verified in all circumstances and for example that the first weight P1 remains lower, for maximum winding, than the value given by this relationship when the lateral direction becomes horizontal. If this is not the case, the designer increases the mass of the additional mass or the distance R2.
  • the figure 3 shows in cross section a variant of the first embodiment.
  • This variant relates to the nature of the additional mass 8, then consisting of a panel 8a of the photovoltaic type and of an energy storage means 8b, in the form of a battery. accumulators or supercapacitors.
  • the electrical connections are not shown.
  • An electrical connection to the actuator is established using the side member as a support for the electrical conductors.
  • only the storage medium is used, in the form of primary batteries.
  • the figure 4 shows in cross section a second embodiment of device 1 ′ for window covering or projection screen according to the invention.
  • the device 1 ′ for window covering or projection screen comprises, as in the first embodiment and with the same references, a roll-up fabric 2 fixed to the frame (not shown) by a first fixing means 3 for an upper end of the fabric and a motorized device 100 ′ for maneuver intended for maneuvering the fabric.
  • a lower end of the fabric is fixed to a winding tube 4 containing at least partially an actuator 5 (shown in transparency) by a second fixing means 6.
  • the actuator 5 is connected to a lateral element 7, outside the winding tube.
  • the torque compensation means is different.
  • the movable mass 8 is replaced by a roller 9a.
  • the compensation means comprises the roller 9a mounted on a free shaft 9b, movable around the second axis X2-X2 'defined as above.
  • the weight of the tube, the wound fabric and the actuator is not balanced when the situation of the lateral element is that of figure 1 : due to the tilting torque, there is therefore rotation in the direction of arrow A0, exceeding the horizontal position of the lateral element and continued tilting until contact (at point 02) between the roller and the outer part of the fabric. The reaction of the fabric then balances the tilting torque.
  • the figure 5 shows in cross section a first variant of the second embodiment.
  • This variant relates to a second lateral element 7 ′ produced in the form of a flange, so as to mask and protect the lateral parts of the winding, and possibly to guide them in the event that an obstacle comes to modify the correct operation of winding.
  • the figure 6 shows in cross section a second variant of the second embodiment.
  • This figure differs from the previous two by the geometry of the lateral element produced in the form of a flange 7 "and by the presence of a substantially cylindrical profile 12 with a radius greater than the largest winding radius, surrounding the winding tube. and provided with a slot 12a parallel to the first axis, slot in which the fabric is engaged.
  • this profile is fixed to the lateral element 7 ".
  • the lateral direction joining the first axis to the second axis is substantially vertical. A small angle ⁇ has been shown between this direction and the vertical, the resulting tilting torque then being balanced by the reaction of the fabric at the contact point 02 between the fabric and the roller.
  • the figure 7 shows in longitudinal section AA 'a first variant of an actuator 5 of the motorized mobile screen and its connections with the winding tube 4 and with the lateral element 7' belonging to the stop means according to the invention.
  • the actuator 5 comprises a first part 5a which is integral in rotation with the winding tube.

  • a lateral element 7 ′ comprises, for example, a hole of polygonal cross section 7 ′ a in which the polygonal rod is engaged. The lateral element is therefore integral in rotation with the output shaft.
  • the figure 8 shows in longitudinal section AA 'a second variant of an actuator 5 of the motorized mobile screen and its connections with the winding tube 4 and with the lateral element 7' belonging to the stop means according to the invention.
  • This variant is applicable in the case where a gearmotor comprises only one output shaft.
  • a gearmotor is housed in each end of the winding tube.

  • the longitudinal plane PL corresponds to the plane of the Figures 7 and 8
  • the transverse plane PT corresponds to a plane parallel to the cutting planes of figures 1 to 6 .
  • the roller 9a is mounted on the free shaft 9b, itself fixed between the two lateral elements 7 '.
  • the energy storage element can be arranged in the roller or in the winding tube.
  • the free shaft can also be hollow and contain a means of electrical connection between the two motors.
  • the gearmotor housing 35a is shown longer than the gearmotor housing 25a because it also contains a radio frequency receiver for receiving and interpreting command orders.
  • the first gear motor can be housed in a first end of the winding tube while a battery is housed in a second end of the winding tube, replacing the second gear motor. Such an arrangement makes it possible to distribute the masses along a longitudinal direction.
  • a first lateral element can support an additional mass while a second lateral element supports a roller mounted on a free shaft, this roller being in contact with the fabric.
  • the two lateral elements have an angle such that the gravity applied to the additional mass decreases the contact pressure between the roller and the fabric.
  • This combination of the two embodiments therefore makes it possible to limit the reaction of the fabric on the roller.
  • the roller can be replaced by another element such as a fixed rod, a bar, or any other profile, when the friction between the fabric and this other element is sufficiently low.
  • the torque recovery is adapted to the direction of winding of the fabric.
  • the torque compensation means can be located at the front of the fabric (visible to a user inside the building) or at the rear of the fabric (hidden from the user by the fabric itself).
  • the torque recovery means supports a photovoltaic panel, it is more advantageous for the latter to face outward, that is to say towards the glazing in the case of an interior blind.
  • the direction of winding of the fabric is chosen so that the torque recovery means is turned outwards (towards the window). This configuration direction is the preferred direction.
  • the motorized device rocks slightly relative to the vertical axis of the fabric (the axis of rotation of the tube shifts relative to the vertical plane in which the fabric extends). Therefore, in the preferred configuration direction, the winding tube moves away from the frame and thus minimizes the possible cases of contact with the frame.
