Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for controlling the opening of a door comprising a control square having an axis of rotation, a handle that can be actuated by a user, means for securing in rotation that can be activated to secure the handle in rotation with the control square, means for entering an opening authorization information, and activation means adapted to activate the rotation fastening means when the authorization information is input.
  • the handle may be a crutch or, for example, a rotary knob.
  • the handle rotates in a vacuum or is locked in rotation.
  • the securing means being activated, the actuation of the handle rotates the control square.
  • a bolt is then rotated by this square, which allows the opening of the door.
  • the opening authorization information may be a code entered by the user or read or transmitted from a badge, or a biometric information detected by one or more sensors. In general, this information is of any type suitable for associating an opening authorization with a particular user or with particular circumstances.
  • rotationally securing means are relatively complex and use engagement members, in particular balls, movable radially under the effect of an axial bias.
  • the device itself is relatively complex.
  • the engagement balls must be of very small dimensions, and must cooperate with organs themselves of small dimensions. This miniaturization further increases the complexity of the device and its cost.
  • the demand US 2002/0144526 discloses a device of the aforementioned type, wherein the means for securing in rotation comprise an axial tooth clutch which is integral in rotation with a first of the elements constituted by the control square and the handle, and a receiving member which is integral in rotation with the second of said elements and which has at least one receiving cavity, the activation means being able to cause movement of the dog towards the door (away from the handle), parallel to the axis of rotation from a deactivated position in which the teeth of the dog are outside the receiving cavity to an activated position in which the teeth are engaged in the receiving cavity.
  • This device is relatively compact, but it can be activated inadvertently or maliciously. Indeed, it is possible to cause a displacement of the dog towards its activated position by tapping axially on the handle.
  • the engagement race of the clutch is weak, a slight displacement can be enough to engage his teeth, at least momentarily, in the cavity of the receiving room.
  • the aim of the invention is to propose a control device which is both simple and reliable with respect to the risk of burglary, while taking up a small space requirement, so as to allow multiple aesthetic choices for the device as a whole and, in particular, for the handle.
  • the invention relates to a device for controlling the opening of a door comprising a control square having an axis of rotation, a handle adapted to be actuated by a user, rotationally locking means capable of being activated for fastening the handle in rotation with the control square, means for entering an opening authorization information, and activation means able to activate the rotation fastening means when the authorization information is input,
  • the rotationally securing means comprising at least one pin integral in rotation with a first of the elements constituted by the control square and the handle, and a receiving part, integral in rotation with the second of said elements and having at least one receiving cavity

  • the rotation fastening is particularly reliable, and operates by a simple engagement of the pin in the receiving cavity. It is easy to dimension the spindle so that, while having small dimensions, it resists shearing forces allowing the rotation attachment. In addition, it is not necessary that its axial displacement is large amplitude.
  • the pin can be housed in the portion of the handle projecting axially on the door, generally in the extension of the control square, without requiring a handle of large radial dimensions and without requiring a base or a rosette fixing the handle to the door, large dimensions.
  • the device has enhanced security.
  • the actuating rod has a control end accessible from the other side of the receiving part with respect to the spindle, the rotational joining is done by an axial displacement of the spindle towards the handle, it is to say away from the door.
  • the control rod passes through a hole in the receiving part, the direction of engagement of the spindle is reversed with respect to the known devices.
  • Such a configuration is very reliable, since by tapping axially on the handle, it only helps to move the spindle away from the receiving cavity, thus to reinforce the lack of engagement of the means for securing in rotation. Such a device therefore has increased resistance to burglary attempts.
  • the actuating rod can be designed in alignment with the control square, without increasing the radial dimensions of the device.
  • the fact that the rod is accessible from the other side of the receiving part relative to the pin also facilitates assembly and disassembly of the device.
  • the spindle can have the shape of a simple pawn particularly inexpensive and easy to assemble, while it is its support that is moved axially by being solicited as will be seen in the following.

These housings may have flat bottoms, or at least funds of narrow diameter preventing that the pins 28 do not come out of these housings on the side of the door 1.
  • the central portion of the support 30 has a bore 30 "in which is engaged the actuating rod 32.

  • the sleeve 42 Towards its end facing the door, the sleeve 42 carries a stop ring 50 which is retained relative to this sleeve by a circlip 50 'being integral in rotation with the sleeve 42. Between the inner periphery of the ring of stop 50 and the outer periphery of the fixed ring 46 is arranged a return spring 52 which recalls the handle in the initial position.
  • This spring is of the helical type, with ends respectively bearing on the one hand, on the fixed ring 46 and / or the cup 24 and, on the other hand, on the stop ring 50.
  • This spring forms a means recalling which remembers the handle in rotation so as to place the receiving cavities 40A and the pin holes 26C facing each other parallel to the axis of rotation A, respectively. It is thus understood that when the pins 26 are displaced axially in the direction of the arrow F, they can enter the receiving cavities 40A. Moreover, the figure 3 shows the pins 28 disposed within the connecting piece 26, more precisely within its portion 26B. In this state, the ends of the pins 28 opposite the door 1 do not protrude into the receiving cavities 40A, so that the rotation of the handle 10 does not cause the rotation of the square 16. On the other hand, on the figure 4 , the pins have been activated, and we see that they penetrate the receiving cavities 40A. Indeed, the support 30 has moved in the direction of the arrow F, driving with it the pins 28 in the direction of this arrow F.

  • This spring 60 thus serves to push the actuating rod 32 towards the door.
  • the combined effects of the springs 60 and 36 thus tend, in the absence of stress, to keep the pins 28 in the inactivated state, in which their opposite ends to the door do not penetrate into the receiving cavities 40A.

  • the device represented on the Figures 5 and 6 comprises a thrust member 90 which has an end 90A engaged in the sleeve portion 72B of the base 72 and which bears against the end towards the door 1, against the end 16 "of the square 16.
  • this square is urged in axial thrust against the control device located on the other side of the door, that is to say, in this case, against the bottom of the cavity 22A of the base 22.
  • a spring 92 is disposed in the sleeve portion 72B. This spring bears, on the one hand, against a shoulder 90A formed at the end of the thrust member 90 and turned away from the door 1, and on the other hand, against a shoulder 72B 'located on the sleeve portion 72B, and facing the door 1.
  • the square 16 is traversed right through by a tension rod 15 whose first end 15A ( Figures 3 and 4 ) is fixed, for example by screwing, to the central portion 22B of the base 22.
  • the rod may have a shoulder beyond which is delimited its first end 15A, this shoulder bearing against the bottom cavity 22A of the base 22.
  • the second end 15B ( Figures 5 and 6 ) of this rod 15 is tensioned, by screwing a nut 100, on a spacer 94, itself bearing against the base 72.
  • the rod 15 does not interfere with the rotation of the square, but maintains the two handles 10 and 12 taking the door 1 sandwiched between them.
  • the thrust member 90 is not connected to this tension rod 15 and bears on the end 16 "of the square 16 under the thrust effect of the spring 92.
  • the rod 15 passes through the thrust member 90 As in the example shown, the rod 15 can have a reduced diameter in the region of its threaded end 15B with respect to its central region.
