Abstract

The wall has individual absorber panels (20-23) stacked on one another and comprising stable circular support frames (30), where sound-absorbing plates (40) are flush-mounted at the support frames. Horizontal frame portions (30b) of the support frames of the stacked panels are mechanically connected with each other to form a self-supporting stack. The horizontal frame portions comprise holes for retaining bolts such that the holes of the stacked panels are aligned with each other in a perpendicular direction. The panels are coated with a sound-absorbing non-woven fabric or a color layer.

Description

The invention relates to a transportable sound absorber wall according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

When using microphones for recording sound outside of recording studios, it is often necessary to absorb as much as possible the noise or ambient or external noise incident on the microphone capsule. Examples of such outdoor use of microphones are sound recordings at exhibitions, in hotel or sports halls or at outdoor events. For this purpose, sound absorber walls are made of soft foam panels, which are provided with through holes for mounting on stand rods. The problem with known sound absorber walls, however, is that the foam sheets and the uprights must be transported separately and the uprights for transport relatively bulky. In addition, stand rods offer only insufficient stability and can easily be knocked over inadvertently.

The object of the invention is in contrast to provide a transportable sound absorber wall, which consists of individual panels that can be easily build up to a stable sound absorbing surface and easy to transport.

This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the sound absorber wall according to the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

The invention provides absorber panels, each having a stable, circumferential frame, to which a sound-absorbing plate is flush mounted. On their horizontal frame parts, the absorber panels can be fastened to each other, preferably by plug-in or screw, and build up a self-supporting absorber wall. The height of the absorber wall depends on the number of stacked absorber panels. Support rods or a support frame for the absorber panels are superfluous. For the transport of Absorberpaneele a transport case is provided at the bottom of several absorber panels are mounted parallel to each other standing. It is important that the lowermost Absorberpaneel remains firmly anchored to the bottom of the case, so that a high stability of the constructed absorber wall is ensured. The transport case is preferably designed so that its lid and its side walls can be easily removed and thereby the case bottom and the absorber panels standing therein are exposed.

In Fig. 1 is a transport case 10 with end-side transport rollers 11 and frontal handles 12 shown, the cover 13 and side parts 14, 15 are removable. Preferably, the lid 13 and the side parts 14, 15 as a continuous hood from the bottom 16 ( Fig. 2 ) of the transport case 10. In the transport case 10 are as Fig. 2 shows four individual Absorberpaneele 20, 21, 22 and 23 with preferably the same dimensions, which are parallel to each other on the stable floor 16 ( FIGS. 2 to 4 ) of the transport case 10 are releasably secured and stored. For this purpose, the bottom 16 of the transport case 10 in the illustrated example, two parallel strips 17, which extend in the vicinity of the side edges of the bottom 16. Each of the absorber panels 20, 21, 22 and 23 consists of a stable, circumferential support frame 30, to which a sound-absorbing plate 40 is flush mounted, for example glued. Each flexible foam sheet 40 has the same height as the associated support frame 30 and engages with its lateral flanks 41 the vertical portions 30a of each support frame 30 such that the vertical portions 30a of each support frame 30 are forward and sideward from the associated sound absorbing panel 40 are covered. At its front surface, the surface of each sound absorbing plate 40 is profiled, for example with a vertical sawtooth profile 42, to improve the sound absorption characteristics of the plate 40. As the material for the plate 40 is preferably a flexible foam into consideration, for example, from open-cell polyurethane foam. The flexible foam is preferably flame-retardant and has, for example, a bulk density in the range between 6 and 35 kg / qm. As a sound-absorbing plastic for the plate 40 may further be provided a melamine resin foam, which is available on the market under the trademark protected name "Basotect" BASF. Melamine resin is a very light and therefore good sound insulating net plastic product, which absorbs airborne sound well. Instead of polyurethane or melamine resin foam, however, other lightweight, cellular foam plastics or fibrous materials can be used which absorb airborne sound. Another possibility for sound absorption consists in the coating of the plate 40 with a sound-permeable material, such as a color layer or a fabric cover.

The Absorberpaneele 20, 21, 22 and 23 can be stacked on top of each other, as in the Figures 3 and 4 is shown. For mutual attachment of the stacked absorber panels 20, 21, 22, 23 are for example bolts 50 (Figure 5), which are inserted into aligned holes 31 in the lower and upper horizontal portions 30b of the support frame 30 and a positive connection of superimposed horizontal sections 30b form. As a bolt 50 and studs can also bolt are provided when the holes 171 and 31 are formed as through holes. Furthermore, for the mutual attachment of the stacked absorber panels 20, 21, 22, 23 brackets or locking devices or the like into consideration.

For attachment of the absorber panels 20, 21, 22, 23 at the bottom 16 of the transport case 10, the strips 17 are provided, for example along its central axis with a series of holes 171 (Fig. 5) for receiving fastening bolts 50. In the lower horizontal portion 30b of the support frame 22 of the absorber panel 22, for example, the holes 31 are aligned with holes 171 of the strips 17, so that in the holes 31, 171 positively inserted fastening bolts 50, the lower horizontal portion 30b of the support frame 22 and thus the absorber panel 22nd at the bottom 16 of the transport case 10 and hold.

When displayed in Fig. 3 the fourth absorber panel 23 is fixed on the third absorber panel 22, while the second and the first absorber panels 21 and 20 have still retained the stand on the floor 16 of the transport case 10. In the presentation after Fig. 4 For example, all four absorber panels 20, 21, 22, and 23 are stacked one upon the other and fixed to each other at their horizontal frame portions 30b by means of the bolts 50. In this end construction of the stack of absorber panels, the second absorber panel 21 is fixed on the stacked first absorber panel 20 by metal bolts 50.

It is essential that the absorber wall 60 formed from the stacked absorber panels 20, 21, 22 and 23 is self-supporting and does not require support rods or a scaffold.

The stack of the absorber panels 20, 22, 23 and 20 forms with the front of the flush abutting plates 40 a smooth absorber surface, wherein the profiles 42 of the plates 40 are aligned with each other in the vertical direction. The choice of a central absorber panel, here 22, as the lowest element of the stacked absorber wall 60 causes between the foot of this middle Absorberpaneels and the two longitudinal edges of the bottom 16 of the transport case 10 sufficiently large footprints for the stack of absorber panels are present, which tilting the Absorber wall 60 prevent even in the last stage.

Die geschlossene Absorberfläche der übereinander gestapelten Absorberpaneele 20, 21, 22, 23 ermöglicht eine wesentliche Verringerung der Nachhallzeit in Räumen, in denen ein fest installiertes Schallabsorbersystem nicht vorhanden oder nicht einsetzbar istBy accommodating all absorber panels 20, 22, 23 and 20 in the transport case 10, the components of the absorber wall 60 according to the invention can be easily in the hold of a passenger car transport. Equally effortlessly, the absorber panels 20, 21, 22, 23 can then be lifted off the floor 16 of the transport case 10 and built up on the absorber wall 60 without external help and in the shortest possible time. Due to the formation of the absorber panels 20, 21, 22, 23 of light plates 40 and a rotating support frame 30, for example, wood or aluminum profiles, the total weight of Absorberpaneele 20, 21, 22 and 23 is very low, which is the transport and construction of the Absorber wall 60 greatly facilitated. The closed absorber surface of the stacked absorber panels 20, 21, 22, 23 allows a significant reduction in the reverberation time in rooms in which a permanently installed sound absorber system is not available or can not be used
