Claims (8)

  1. A device (1) for positioning and fixing at least one ballistic protection member (101) onto a structure (100), such as a vehicle (100), the device comprising at least one spar (3), which can be made integral with the structure (100), and receiving a telescopic arm (4), a support means (5) being integral with the end of the one or more arms (4), the protection member (101) being attached to the support means (5) by a connecting means (5a), in order to protect a side wall, the arms (4) and spars (3) being designed to be fixed to the structure (100) at the roof thereof, the device being characterized by the fact that the support means (5) comprises a horizontal portion which is located above the ballistic protection member (101), the connecting means (5a) for connecting to the support means (5) comprising at least one swivel hinge (5a) allowing, by a rotation of the protection member, an access to the wall.
  2. The positioning and fixing device according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the horizontal portion (5) is extended at at least one of its ends by a vertical portion (5b) onto which at least one protection member (101) may be fixed.
  3. The positioning and fixing device according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one lock (8) for maintaining the telescopic arm (4) in the deployed or retracted position.
  4. The positioning and fixing device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one retaining means (6) comprising at least one rod (6a) comprising at a first one of its ends a swivel joint (103) which can be made integral with a wall of the structure (102), the rod (6a) comprising at a second end a means (6d) for securing with at least one protection member (101).
  5. The positioning and fixing device according to claim 4, characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one interface rail (110) onto which the swivel joints (103) are fixed, the rail (110) being designed to be made integral with a wall (102) of the structure (100).
  6. A structure (100), such as a vehicle (100), which comprises a roof (100a) and two side walls (102) which are protected using at least one ballistic protection member (5) which is fixed to the structure (100) by a positioning and fixing device comprising at least one spar (3), which can be made integral with the structure (100), and receiving a telescopic arm (4), a support means (5) being integral with the end of the one or more arms (4), the protection member (101) being attached to the support means (5) by a connecting means (5a), the arms (4) and spars (3) being designed to be fixed to the structure (100) at the roof (100a) thereof, the structure (100) being characterized by the fact that it carries a support means (5) at each side wall (102), each support means (5) comprising a horizontal portion extending over substantially the entire length of the roof (100a) of the structure (100), the connecting means (5a) for connecting to the support means (5) comprising at least one swivel hinge (5a) allowing, by a rotation of the protection member, an access to the wall.
  7. The structure (100) according to claim 6, characterized by the fact that each spar (3) fixed to the roof (100a) of the structure (100) receives two telescopic arms (4), each arm (4) carrying a support means (5) located at a different side wall (102).
  8. The structure according to one of claims to 7, characterized by the fact that it carries an interface rail (110) fixed at each side wall (102), the rail (110) extending over substantially the entire length of the wall (102) and onto which the swivel joints (103) are fixed.
