In dem Türblech 1 ist eine Türgriffmulde 3 ausgeformt, in die eine in Figur 2 im Detail dargestellte Griffeinheit 4 einer Türaußengriffvorrichtung bei der Montage eingesetzt wird. Die in dem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellte Griffeinheit 4 umfasst einen nach Art eines Ziehgriffs ausgebildeten Betätigungshebel 5, ein sich an dem Betätigungshebel 5 in dessen Längsrichtung seitlich anschließendes Turmelement 6, ein mit dem Turmelement 6 koppelbares Zusatzgehäuse bzw. Aufnahmegehäuse 7 und eine das Turmelement 6 und das Aufnahmegehäuse 7 nach außen hin abdeckende Kappe 8. An einem ersten Längsende 9 des Betätigungshebels 5 ist ein Lageransatz 10 angeformt, der bei der Montage der Türaußengriffvorrichtung durch eine erste Durchgangsöffnung 11 des Türblechs 1 hindurch gesteckt und dort nach Art eines Loslagers schwenkbar hinter der Türaußenseite 2 gelagert ist. Die endseitige Schwenklagerung des Betätigungshebels 5 erlaubt ein Aufschwenken des Betätigungshebels mittels einer am Lageransatz ausgebildeten Drehachse 12. An dem anderen bzw. zweiten Längsende 13 des Betätigungshebels 5 ist ein Betätigungsfinger 14 angebracht, der sich nach Montage der Türaußengriffvorrichtung durch eine zweite im Türblech 1 ausgebildete Durchgangsöffnung 15 hindurch erstreckt und der Betätigung eines Schlosses dient. Das zweite Längsende 13 des Betätigungshebels 5 ist nach Art eines Festlagers auslenkbar und quer zur Türaußenseite 2 beweglich gehalten. In Verlängerung des Betätigungshebels 5 schließt sich an dessen zweiten Längsende 13 das zylinderförmig ausgebildete Turmelement 6 an, das in der dargestellten Ausführungsform einen Schließzylinder 16 aufnimmt, der einen Zugang zum Fahrzeug mittels eines mechanischen Notschlüssels ermöglicht. Ferner ist in dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel auf der dem Betätigungshebel 5 abgewandten Seite des Turmelements 6 das mit dem Turmelement 6 koppelbare Aufnahmegehäuse 7 angeordnet, in welchem beispielsweise ein Infrarotempfänger oder ein elektronisches Bauteil zur Fernbetätigung der Türaußengriffvorrichtung untergebracht sein kann. Die komplette Griffeinheit 4 ist in Figur 3 nach ihrer Montage auf der Türaußenseite 2 des Türblechs 1 dargestellt, wobei die Griffeinheit 4 in der in dem Türblech 1 geformten Türgriffmulde 3 angeordnet ist, so dass die Hand eines Benutzers zur Betätigung der Türaußengriffvorrichtung in die Türgriffmulde 3 eingreifen bzw. den Betätigungshebel 5 hintergreifen und den nach Art eines Ziehgriffs ausgebildeten Betätigungshebel 5 nach außen ziehen bzw. betätigen kann, um die Fahrzeugtür zu öffnen. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung kann der Betätigungshebel 5 mittels des im Turmelement 6 eingelagerten Schließzylinders 16 blockiert werden. Durch den Abstand 23 werden Längenausdehnungen des Betätigungshebels 5 infolge von Temperatureinflüssen, von Wasseraufnahme und/oder von Krafteinwirkungen zugelassen. Der Abstand 23 ist dabei so bemessen, dass strukturelle Spannungen im Betätigungshebel 5 sowie sogenannte Griffhängenbleiber bzw. ein Verkanten des Betätigungshebels 5 im Betrieb vermieden werden, solange beispielsweise eine zulässige an dem Betätigungshebel angreifende Kraft nicht überschritten wird. Bei Krafteinwirkung und/oder bei Temperatur- sowie Wasseraufnahmebedingten Längenänderungen des Betätigungshebels 5 kann die Drehachse 12 des Betätigungshebels 5 in Richtung der Anschläge 22 der Stützstruktur 21 ausgelenkt werden, bis die Drehachse 12 an den Anschlägen 22 anliegt. Diese Auslenkbewegung ist dadurch möglich, weil die Lagerung im Bereich der Drehachse 12 ein Loslager darstellt. Eine derartige Auslenkung in Längsrichtung des Griffträgers 17 ist am zweiten Längsende 13 des Betätigungshebels 5 nicht möglich. Der Abstand 23 definiert hierbei die maximale Auslenkung bzw. das Maximum der Auslenkung des Betätigungshebels 5. Bei Überschreiten der durch den Abstand 23 vordefinierten Auslenkung und/oder Ausdehnung des Betätigungshebels in Richtung der Anschläge 22 der Stützstruktur 21 bzw. in Richtung des ersten Längsendes 19 des Griffträgers 17 wird die Drehachse 12 an den Anschlägen 22 der Stützstruktur 21 anliegen, so dass die Auslenkung oder Längenausdehnung des Betätigungshebels 5 begrenzt ist.
