Claims (9)

  1. Toilet bowl apparatus, comprising a base (1) which can be attached to the bowl, the base (1) comprising a compartmentalised casing (11) having a lid (17) and having a suction opening, the base (1) having a seat (2) and a device (3) for drawing air into the bowl, the suction device (3) being housed in the compartmentalised casing (11) and comprising a filter (6),
    - a lower side of the seat being provided with a seal by means of which the seat (2) is able to rest on the rim of the bowl, this seal being open at the front and at the rear in order to allow air to flow to the suction device (3) through the suction opening formed in the base (1), the suction device (3) drawing in air and pushing it through the filter (6), out of the compartmentalised casing (11)
    - the base (1) comprising a protrusion (13) that is provided on the top thereof with a presence detection window (14) pointing above the seat (2), and which can form beneath the detection window (14) a suction duct (15) together with the top of the bowl rear, the suction duct (15) being able to open into the bowl, and
    - the apparatus also comprising a control circuit (8) for the operation of the suction device (3), which control circuit has an infrared detector (83) arranged in the detection window (14) and controls the operation of the suction device (3),
    - the compartmentalised casing (11) comprising at the centre thereof a compartment (111) forming an air passage that passes upwards through said compartment and is located above the end of the suction duct (15) that is occupied by the suction device (3), over which the filter (6) is mounted, the filter (6) being a detachable air filter formed of a rigid housing containing a filtering mass, the centre compartment (111) being bordered on each side by a compartment (112, 113), one of which accommodates a power supply (81, 82) and the other of which accommodates a diffuser (4) comprising a casing (41) having a store (45) of diffusing and odoriferous substances,
    - the lid (17) of the compartmentalised casing (11) covering the compartments (111, 112, 113) while separating them in a relatively airtight manner, and comprising openings above the outlet of the filter (6),
    - the apparatus also comprising a cap (172) that covers the openings above the compartment (111) of the suction device (3),
    characterised in that
    - the casing (41) of the diffuser (4) comprises a bottom (43) which is provided with an air inlet over which a fan (42) is mounted, the outlet of the fan supplies an inlet of a passageway of blown air (44), which passes over the store (45) of diffusing and odoriferous substances, and the top of the casing (41) of the diffuser (4) comprises openings (461) for outputting air loaded with odoriferous substances,
    - the casing (41) of the diffuser (4) comprises contact points (48),
    - the compartment (113) housing the diffuser (4) is provided with additional contact points,
    - the fan (42) is connected by means of the contact points (48) of the casing (41) of the diffuser (4), which contact points touch the additional contact points of the compartment (113) housing the diffuser (4), and the power supply of the fan (42) is controlled by the control circuit (8),
    - the lid (17) of the compartmentalised casing (11) also comprises openings above the compartment (113) housing the diffuser (4),
    - the cap (172) also covers the openings above the compartment (113) housing the diffuser (4).
  2. Toilet bowl apparatus according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the air suction duct (15) below a plate (5) is in the shape of a V that is open towards the bowl, which duct is provided with fins (151) directing the flow of air in the duct and the outlet (12) of which to the suction device (3) is off-centred in the flow direction of air drawn in by the suction device (3).
  3. Toilet bowl apparatus according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the control circuit (8) performs the timing for timing (ΔT, ΔT11) the operation of the suction device (3) and the operation of the diffuser (4) in an adjustable manner.

    characterised in that
    the adjustable attachment strips (54) rest on top of the plate by means of mounts (53) in the form of panels having a window (531) corresponding to and surrounding the window (52) of the plate (5) in order to transmit the stresses on the attachment screws (57) and the adjustable strips (54) to the plate (5).
  7. Toilet bowl apparatus according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the compartmentalised casing (11) comprises partitions (115) defining the compartment (111) of the suction device (3) and of the filter (6) of said suction device, and the compartment (113) of the diffuser (4).
  8. Toilet bowl apparatus according to claim 7,
    characterised in that
    the compartmentalised casing (11) has a peripheral wall (114) provided with a rabbet (1141), and
    the lid (17) has a peripheral wall that lowers down to join the rabbet (1141) of the compartmentalised casing (11) in an airtight manner.
  9. Toilet bowl apparatus according to claim 7,
    characterised in that the lid (17) is provided with the cap (172) that covers the openings above the outlet of the filter (6) and covers the openings above the compartment (113) housing the diffuser (4), while leaving a gap with respect to the top of the lid (17) for forming a peripheral slit for letting out air.
