They are therefore required to collect significant quantities of water which must be removed quickly to avoid overflowing the tank and consequently damaging the water. The design of the drainage devices35 currently prevents any increase in this flow. Thus, in conventional sanitary installations, the siphon, placed downstream of the outlet outlet of the tank, has imposed dimensions which are a function of the diameter of the 2 wastewater pipe on the one hand, and the diameter of the other on the other hand.

To this end, the subject of the invention is a sanitary installation, such as a bathtub or shower, of the type consisting of a drainable tank through its bottom by means of a water outlet orifice connectable to a conduit for waste water discharge, characterized in that it comprises, upstream of the water outlet orifice, taken in the direction of flow of the water, at least one water retention zone, insulating the ambient air the water outlet orifice35 of the tank, this water retention zone, arranged to collect the water from the tank and communicate by overflow
avec l'orifice de sortie du bac, participant à la face formant fond du bac. with the bin outlet, participating in the bottom side of the bin.
Il est ainsi possible d'obtenir un débit d'eau Thanks to the relative position of the water retention zone with respect to the rest of the installation, the dimensions of the entrance to this water retention zone are free from any constraint, the exit from this retention zone of water being a function of the dimensions of the water outlet orifice of the tank. It is thus possible to obtain a water flow

Cette zone 3, 4 de retenue The sanitary installation, object of the invention, can constitute a shower tray, a sink or a bathtub or any other installation consisting of a tray 115 drainable from its bottom by means of an outlet port 2 water connectable to a waste water evacuation pipe. The tank is generally formed by a bottom 1A and side walls adjoining said bottom. The water outlet orifice 2 is formed in the bottom side of the tank 1.20 The installation is characterized in that it comprises, upstream of the water outlet orifice 2, taken in the direction of water flow, at least one zone 3, 4 for retaining water, isolating the orifice 2 from the water outlet of the tank from ambient air so as to prevent the rise of odors from the water outlet orifice 2 towards the entrance to the containment zone. This restraint area 3, 4
Cette zone 3, 4 de retenue d'eau participe à la face30 formant fond du bac. water must be arranged to collect the water from the tank and communicate by overflow with the orifice 2 of the tank outlet. This water retention zone 3, 4 participates in the face 30 forming the bottom of the tank.
This retention area can affect a large number of shapes. Thus, in the examples shown, the retaining zone consists of at least two pieces 3 and 4 of 35 substantially complementary shapes preferably arranged one above the other, said pieces fitting together at least partially and being kept apart from one another in at least one so-called emptying position to form, in a substantially vertical plane, a baffle communicating by overflow with the orifice 2 for outputting the tank. To allow this zone 3, 4 of water retention to isolate from the ambient air the orifice 2 of water outlet of the 5 tray, the outlet of the baffle in the drain orifice is located at a higher level at least part of the nesting zone of said parts. I1 is thus formed at least one guard of water 5 in said baffle. Preferably, such an installation comprises at least two water guards. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the water retention zone 3, 4 is more particularly made up of a base 3 and a cover. 4, the base 3 comprising at least one closed circuit channel 3A extending around the orifice15 2 for emptying the installation and communicating with the latter by overflow. The channel 3A and the drain orifice 2 are covered at least partially with a cover 4 provided with at least one boss 4A penetrating at least partially in said channel 3A of the base 3 while maintaining a water circulation passage comprising at least one guard of water 5 so as to prevent the release of bad odors. To reduce the overall size of the assembly, it may be more particularly advantageous to produce at least two successive water guards in the retaining zone. In this case, the base 3 of the retaining zone 3, 4 consists of several channels 3A in closed circuit extending around the orifice 2 of the water outlet, these contiguous channels 3A communicating with each other by overflow. These channels 3A and the water outlet orifice 2 are at least partially covered by means of a cover 4 provided with bosses 4A penetrating at least partially into said
canaux 3A pour former à chaque fois au moins une garde d'eau 5 empêchant le passage d'air de l'entrée de la zone 3, 4 de retenue d'eau vers l'orifice 2 de sortie du bac. channels 3A to form each time at least one water guard 5 preventing the passage of air from the inlet of the zone 3, 4 of water retention towards the orifice 2 of the tank outlet.
In this example, the contiguous channels 3A are concentric with the drain orifice 2. One thus obtains a device preventing the release of bad odors of small size 6 since all of the elements
It can thus be seen that the emptying device preventing the ascent of odors5 has a sectioning plane radial to the emptying orifice 2.
En aval de l'orifice 2 de sortie d'eau, il est15 généralement prévu un raccord 6 pivotant pour permettre le raccordement de l'orifice 2 de sortie d'eau du bac à la In the examples shown, at least one of the parts of the retaining zone 3, 4, in this case the base 3, and the drain orifice 2 are formed in one piece with the bottom lA of the tank. It is obvious that it could, similarly, have been added, in the bottom of the tank, a base 3 formed in one piece with the drain hole 2. Downstream of the water outlet orifice 2, a pivoting connector 6 is generally provided to allow connection of the water outlet orifice 2 of the tank to the
Ce panneau 9 formant plancher In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least part of the water retention zone 3, 4 is masked by a panel 9 forming a floor which is removably attached to the bottom of the tank, the water flowing at the periphery of the panel 9 in the direction of the retaining zone 3, 4. This removable panel 9 can constitute a decorative element of the assembly and can be chosen according to the tastes of the user. This panel 9 forming the floor
Cette ouverture 7 supplémentaire est ménagée dans le fond de l'installation. can also cover at least one additional opening 7 serving as an access to the pipe for connecting the wastewater in the connected state of the orifice 30 2 leaving the tank with said pipe. This additional opening 7 is formed in the bottom of the installation.
In fact, sanitary installations generally consist of a monobloc drain pan. This results in problems during the installation of such a tank and its connection to a waste water collection pipe arranged in standby and integrated into the construction. Thanks to the presence of an additional opening 7, it is possible, at first, to connect by access to 7 through the additional opening 7 the outlet orifice 2
Ce raccordement peut s'effectuer à l'état posé du bac. from the tank to the waste water discharge pipe. This connection can be made in the installed state of the tank.
In the embodiment shown, the edges 8 of the additional opening 7 are shaped in particular raised to form with the side walls 11 of the tank a gutter 10 bringing the water to the inlet of the retaining zone 3, 4 , the removable panel 9 forming the floor draining the water from the tank into the said gutter 10. The additional opening 7 is therefore closed in leaktight manner by means of the panel 9 forming the floor so that the water projected onto the surface of the panel 9 forming the floor is drained by the latter and brought into the gutter 1015 to the retaining zone 3, 4. The tight closure of the additional opening 7 is obtained by means of a seal 13 fitted to the underside of the panel 9 or formed in a groove 14 of the tank 1. This design of the supply to the retaining zone again contributes to increasing the flow rate of the assembly. In a particular embodiment, the removable panel 9 forming the floor can be coupled to one of the parts of the retaining zone 3, 4, in particular to the cover 4 of the retaining zone, to allow, during its removal, direct access to the rest of the holding area, in particular to base 3 of the holding area. This example can be understood from FIG. 1 in which the cover 4 and the panel 9 forming the floor are assembled by means of a permanent connection so that when the floor 9 is removed, there is direct access to the channels 3A constituting the base 3. It thus becomes possible to easily clean the entire installation. It could also have been imagined to simply position the cover 4 overlapping the surface of the base 3 and then to position the removable panel 9 on the cover 4, this panel 9 forming a floor also serving to hold the cover 4 applied against the base 3. It could also have been imagined in another embodiment not shown, the removal of the additional opening 7, the bottom of the tank in this case being a solid bottom. The cover 4 of the retaining zone in this case has a substantially flat top face coming into contact with at least part of the face forming the bottom of the tank to form a substantially flat bottom face, supplying the retaining formed between base and cover again effected by introducing water to the periphery of the cover
It may also be noted that the support surface on the ground of the tank 1 comprises, in the vicinity of the drain orifice 2, a notch 12 to again facilitate, through the additional opening 7, access to the area for connecting the drain port 2 or to the fitting
tournant 6.turning 6.
