Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a contactless filling device for filling an article with a pourable product having a temperature higher than room temperature.
  • the present invention also relates to a control method of a contactless filling device for filling an article with a pourable product having a temperature higher than room temperature.
  • the present invention relates to a filling device adapted to perform a "hot" filling, i.e. to fill the articles with a pourable food product at a temperature higher than room temperature, for example 80 degrees centigrade.
  • This type of filling is generally used with especially perishable pourable products, for example energy drinks, to which a relevant amount of preservative cannot be added.
  • Filling machines comprising a filling station fed with empty articles and adapted to provide articles filled with the pourable food product.
  • the filling station substantially comprises a carousel conveyor rotating about a rotation axis, a tank containing the pourable food product, and a plurality of filling devices supported by the carousel conveyor in a position radially external with respect to the rotation axis of the carousel conveyor.
  • the carousel is provided with a plurality of support elements for respective articles provided to arrange the mouths of respective articles in a lower position and at a given distance with respect to the respective filling devices and to displace the articles along a circumferential arc trajectory about the above said rotation axis integrally to the respective filling devices.
  • Each filling device essentially comprises a fixed body connected to the carousel and a shutter sliding with respect to the fixed body between an open position and a closed position.
  • the shutter when the shutter is arranged in the open position, the shutter defines an opening with the fixed body.
  • the pourable product thereby flows from the tank to a filling mouth of the relative article passing through the opening.
  • the shutter when the shutter is arranged in the closed position, it sealingly cooperates with an abutment surface defined by the fixed body, preventing the pourable product from flowing from tank towards the mouth of the relative article.
  • the opening is arranged at a given distance from the mouth of the article to be filled.
  • WO2008/141717 discloses filling devices in accordance with the preamble of claim 1, and a method in accordance with the preamble of claim 7, capable of contactless filling articles with a hot pourable product.

  • the filling devices of the known type comprise a first fluidic line along which the shutter slides between an open and a closed position.
  • the shutter When the shutter is arranged in the closed position, it sealingly separates the first fluidic line in a first portion fluidically connected to the tank and a second portion connected to a filling mouth for the articles.

  • the sanitising fluid can therefore flow within the first fluidic line of the first duct towards the common manifold and at the same time induce the opening of the second valve.
  • the sanitising fluid in the first duct also induces the displacement of the second valve to the open position and can therefore sterilise the bell element and reach the common manifold.
  • first and the second valves are pressure limiting valves sets some limits to the operation flexibility of the filling device.
  • the first valve automatically reaches the relative closed position, when the shutter reaches the relative open position.

    maintenir une circulation continue dudit produit pouvant être versé à travers une deuxième ligne fluidique (20) raccordée, de manière fluidique, avec ladite première ligne fluidique (12) et avec ledit réservoir (6), lorsque ladite première valve (15) est dans ladite position fermée relative ;
    ladite étape consistant à maintenir une circulation continue comprenant l'étape consistant à déplacer une deuxième valve (41) intercalée le long de ladite deuxième ligne fluidique (20) à partir d'une seconde position fermée, dans laquelle elle empêche le raccordement fluidique entre ledit réservoir (6) et ladite première ligne fluidique (12) à travers ladite deuxième ligne fluidique (20), vers une seconde position ouverture, dans laquelle elle raccorde, de manière fluidique, ledit réservoir (6) et ladite première ligne fluidique (12) à travers ladite deuxième ligne fluidique (20);
    ledit procédé comprenant en outre les étapes consistant à:
    remplir un réservoir (6) avec un fluide d'assainissement afin de réaliser une étape consistant à assainir ledit dispositif de remplissage (10, 10', 10") ;
    agencer un élément de fermeture (45) afin de fermer ladite ouverture de versement (14) et raccorder, de manière fluidique, ladite première ligne fluidique (12) et une troisième ligne fluidique (25, 25") raccordée de manière fluidique avec ledit réservoir (6) ;
    permettre audit fluide d'assainissement de s'écouler le long de ladite troisième ligne fluidique (25, 25") à partir de ladite première ligne fluidique (12) vers ledit réservoir (6), pendant une étape consistant à assainir ledit dispositif de remplissage (10, 10') ;
    ladite étape d'autorisation comprenant les étapes supplémentaires consistant à:
    déplacer une troisième valve (42', 42") intercalée le long de ladite troisième ligne fluidique (25, 25") entre une position fermée relative dans laquelle elle empêche ledit fluide d'assainissement de s'écouler le long de ladite troisième ligne fluidique (25) et une position ouverte relative dans laquelle elle permet audit fluide d'assainissement de s'écouler le long de ladite troisième ligne fluidique (25) ;
    caractérisé en ce que ladite étape consistant à déplacer ladite deuxième valve (41) comprend l'étape consistant à déplacer ladite deuxième valve (41) entre lesdites positions ouverte et fermée relatives, indépendamment de la différence de pression à l'intérieur de ladite deuxième ligne fluide (20) entre une section en amont et une section en aval (21, 22) de ladite valve (41) ;
    ladite étape consistant à déplacer ladite troisième valve (42', 42") comprenant l'étape consistant à déplacer ladite troisième valve (42', 42") entre lesdites positions ouverte et fermée relatives indépendamment de la différence de pression à l'intérieur de ladite troisième ligne fluidique (25, 25") entre une section en amont (14) et une section en aval (26, 26") de la troisième valve (42, 42").
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes consistant à :
    amener un premier transporteur (3) comprenant au moins l'un desdits dispositifs de remplissage (10, 10') le long d'une première trajectoire (P) formée par un segment opérationnel (R) et un segment de retour (S) ;
    amener un deuxième transporteur (4) le long d'une deuxième trajectoire (Q1) tangente par rapport à ladite première trajectoire (P), à une station initiale (I) dudit segment opérationnel (R) ;
    amener un troisième transporteur (5) mobile le long d'une troisième trajectoire (Q2) tangente par rapport à ladite première trajectoire (P), à une station d'extrémité (O) du segment opérationnel (R) ; et
    agencer à la fois ladite première valve (15) et la deuxième valve (41) dans lesdites positions fermées respectives, pendant ledit segment de retour (S) de ladite trajectoire (P).
