It is also be ⁇ known to design the operating elements that they can be operated mechanically only with increased effort. Nevertheless, there is still the risk that actuated by a corresponding mechanical action unintentionally ⁇ tigt the actuator and thus an emergency call or a predetermined action is triggered.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a device with an operating unit in which a mechanically actuable actuating element is very well protected against undesired triggering of a predetermined action.
- This object is achieved by the device according to claim 1 ge ⁇ triggers. Further developments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.
- the device according to the invention comprises an operating unit, which comprises an actuating element for triggering a predetermined action, wherein the actuating element is mechanically actuated by a Kraftaus ⁇ exercise of a user.
- the Actu ⁇ supply element includes a touch-sensitive sensor for detecting skin contact, which occurs due to the exercise of force for mechanical actuation of the actuating element.
- the device is configured such that it is checked as a requirement for the triggering of the predetermined action, whether the actuating element is actuated and skin contact is detected in the context of the mechanical actuation by the touch-sensitive sensor. That is, besides the mechanical actuation of the actuating element, a necessary criterion for triggering the predetermined action is that a corresponding skin contact is detected by the sensor.
- the device according to the invention is based on the finding that an efficient protection against the unwanted triggering of a predetermined action, such as an alarm or emergency call function, can be achieved by a suitable coupling of the known contactless sensor technology with a mechanically actuatable actuating element. Sensing skin contact ensures that the actuating element is not inadvertently actuated with other objects. Only if it can be assumed that the user me ⁇ mechanically operated with his skin the actuator, the terme ⁇ voted accordingly set is action is taken. - one or more vital signs can egg a patient, such as pulse, blood pressure, body temperature and the like, are monitored.
- this application is run on the clock, the user carries appropriate sensors on the body, with which the vital signs are detected.
- the recorded sensor data can then be read out at the next visit to the doctor and used for diagnosis.
- ⁇ sondere is also the possibility that in the He ⁇ detection of a failure or deterioration of vital functions, a corresponding emergency call on the mobile radio interface to a central medical monitoring station gives ⁇ sets is that then the watch by the Lo ⁇ kalisation the mobile radio cell can locate and send an ambulance to the patient.
- the actuating ⁇ element 6 is a rectangular ausgestalteter, mechanically actuated push button, which also includes a touch-sensitive sensor, which can detect the contacting of the contact surface of the actuating element by human skin. Any desired technologies known from the prior art for detecting touches can be used. Since these technologies are known per se, they are not explained in detail here. In a preferred variant, the detection of a skin contact of the actuating element via the detection of human skin resistance.
- the actuator 6 is also made of a different material than the rest of the case of the clock.
- the housing may be made of metal, whereas the material of the actuation elements is soft plastic. This also facilitates the haptic localization of the actuating element.
- the task of the actuating element 6 is that a user manually in an emergency situation, such as in the case of poor health, a central medi ⁇ cal control center can inform.
- a central medi ⁇ cal control center can inform.
- a corresponding emergency call is sent to the central control center via the mobile radio interface of the clock, which can then locate the clock by the localization of the mobile radio cell and can send a doctor to the patient or inform the relatives.
- a special feature of the watch is that an emergency call is only issued if, in addition to the mechanical actuation of the actuating element 6, it is also determined via the touch-sensitive sensor of the actuating element that the contact surface of the actuating element is touched by human skin. In this way it can be ensured in a simple manner that the emergency call is not unin ⁇ DCvable due to a force on the actuation ⁇ element by objects such as clothing, triggered. In order to further increase protection against unintentional actuation, it may also be possible for an emergency call to be placed after a predetermined period of time.
- the time period may be chosen differently depending on the application and is preferably in the range from Be ⁇ 1 to 3 seconds.
- the just described embodiment of the invention has a number of advantages. Specifically, the Technolo gy ⁇ a touch-sensitive sensor with a mechanical see actuation coupled. Only when both the mechanical actuation of the actuator and its contact is detected by human skin, a corresponding emergency call is triggered. By this increased information gain can be differentiated much differentiated between incorrect operation and intentional operation. As a result, unwanted alarms can be minimized.
- the OF INVENTION ⁇ dung is not limited to that described in Fig. 1 ⁇ bracelet watch, but may also be used in any other areas for devices with operating unit. Ins ⁇ special can also be a control unit for a Ge ⁇ buildings or for an automation system or for a power generation and / or power distribution system the device.
- industrial machines can be designed to be 6 and sheet plat ⁇ in the immediate vicinity of the operator with emergency call buttons on the type of control element described above. It is also possible with this is that no emergency call or an alarm is triggered via the betae ⁇ actuating element, but other actions are set in motion, such as safety-critical and irreversible operations wherein it is important to unintentional operation exclude ⁇ SEN.
