Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rocker for a hanger, with a maximum allowable relative tilt angle and with a rocker body having a central stop opening and two symmetrically arranged lateral suspension openings and with a display arrangement, which can be seen from outside the rocker a lying above the maximum allowable relative tilt angle skew indicates the rocker, wherein the display arrangement has at least two indicator edges, which are formed as indicator edges.
  • Rockers for hangers such as rope, belt or chain hangers
  • a hanger with multiple strands and, for example, a 4-strand hanger is usually used.
  • the load thus depends, for example, on four chain strands which are intended to absorb the load evenly and to guide it to a central stop means. If joints for the chain strands are distributed inaccurately at the load or the individual chain strands have length tolerances, however, an uneven loading of the individual chain strands can occur.
  • chain strands straps or ropes can be used.
  • the known rockers can compensate for the assembly or length tolerances only to a certain extent.
  • the rocker In order to ensure a favorable load distribution within the rocker, the rocker should not be inclined beyond the maximum permitted relative tilt angle under load.
  • the maximum allowable relative tilt angle is set with respect to a direction of the load acting on the stopper means. If the rocker is tilted due to the tolerances over the maximum allowable relative tilt angle with respect to the ideal stop direction, then a safe lifting of the load can no longer be guaranteed.
  • the strands are loaded unevenly
  • a device for adjusting the length of a sling is described.
  • the device has an elongated, transverse to the stop direction opening and two laterally mounted hooks.
  • two strands of the sling are angled through the central opening and once each around one of the hooks.
  • On the hook markings are attached indicating the maximum allowable angle at which the strands of the sling may be passed around the hooks.
  • a disadvantage of this device is that this can not be used as a rocker for a hanger.
  • a device which has a single central opening for a hanger and at least two shackles for suspending loads.
  • the shackles are rotatably mounted, so that the lifting device can be used for different sizes of the lifting.
  • a body of the lifting device has numerical markings indicating the maximum allowable payload in response to the spread of the shackles.
  • the device is not suitable for specifying an inclination above a maximum permissible relative inclination angle.
  • a fitter installing the hanger can quickly and reliably detect whether the inclination or inclination of the rocker is above the maximum allowable relative inclination angle and may occur during installation tolerances balance out. This simple and quick control ensures safe lifting of the load.
  • the display arrangement may comprise at least one visually perceptible indicator element.
  • the indicator element differs for better visibility, for example, color of the rocker body.
  • Such an indicator element can indicate the inclination of the rocker and possibly read without the use of other tools. So that the indicator element at any time represents the inclination of the rocker, it can move with the rocker body.
  • the indicator element can be connected to the rocker body in a manner that is resistant to movement or can be part of the rocker body. In order to be able to quickly and easily check whether the rocker is inclined or inclined beyond the maximum permissible relative inclination angle, the indicator element can represent the maximum permissible relative inclination angle.
  • the indicator element may be formed as an indicator edge.
  • the indicator edge can be straight, so that it is easy to see in which direction the indicator edge extends.
  • the indicator edge can be aligned so that it is arranged on reaching the maximum allowable relative tilt angle along a predetermined angle relative to the stop direction in which the stop load acts on the stop opening or the stop means.
  • the indicator edge can be aligned perpendicular or parallel to the stop direction when the inclination of the rocker reaches the maximum permissible relative tilt angle.
  • Such an orientation of the indicator edge is visually perceptible even without aids, so that reaching the maximum allowable inclination of the rocker can be easily determined. So that the indicator edge can be seen more quickly, this color can be offset from the rocker body.
  • the indicator element Due to the often harsh conditions and the large forces acting on the rocker, there is a risk that the indicator element will be damaged.
  • the indicator element can be formed by an outer edge of the rocker body. Even if the outer edge has, for example, smaller damages caused by impacts, it extends at one otherwise intact and ready to rocker but still substantially along their original direction and thus can safely indicate the inclination of the rocker.
  • an underside of the rocker body pointing away from the stop opening may be formed with the indicator edge, since in use it is best visible to the installer.
  • the molded on the bottom indicator edge is arranged on reaching the maximum allowable relative tilt angle in an optically easily detectable angle, for example, vertically or horizontally to the ideal stop direction.
  • the indicator edge runs parallel to the stop direction in an inclination state of the rocker which is still admissible, it indicates that the maximum permissible relative inclination angle has been reached in an easily perceptible manner. Consequently, in addition to or as an alternative to the outer edge, such an indicator edge may be provided.
  • This indicator edge may be formed as one side of an indicator tongue and run parallel to the stop direction upon reaching the maximum allowable relative tilt angle.
  • the side of the indicator tongue and possibly the entire indicator tongue can be colored to visually settle from the rest of the rocker.
  • the indicator tongue In order to avoid damage to the indicator tongue, for example by bending, it may be embedded in the rocker body.
  • the indicator tongue projecting into a central opening of the rocker body.
  • the indicator tongue can be connected to the rocker body in a manner that is resistant to movement.
  • the indicator tongue is attached to the rocker body or formed integrally therewith.
  • the display arrangement of the rocker can have a pointer which is movable relative to the indicator element and indicates the inclination of the rocker during operation. If the inclination of the rocker reaches the maximum permissible relative inclination angle, the pointer can point, for example, to the indicator element.
  • the indicator element is designed, for example, as the indicator edge of the indicator tongue.
  • the indicator element may be formed as an indicator mark, for example an arrowhead, a dot, a dash or any other visually perceptible structure.

  • For connection to the stop means of the attachment portion of the pointer may have a hole whose inner diameter is greater than the outer diameter of the retaining bolt.
  • the pointer can be freely swinging connected to the stop means so that it points as a perpendicular in the direction of gravity.
  • the freely oscillating pointer only correctly indicates the inclination of the rocker when the stop direction corresponds to the direction of gravity.
  • free swinging of the pointer may be hampered by other factors.
  • this may have an alignment device in which the stop means is receivable in a predetermined mounting position.
  • the stop means can be received by the alignment device, in particular in only a single mounting position. In the mounting position, the pointer can point parallel to the ideal stop direction and in particular counter to the direction of the stop force acting on the stop means.
  • the pointer remains aligned even with a twisted rocker body parallel to the direction of attack, the pointer can be rotationally rigidly connected to the stop means by the alignment assurance.
