- Hob trough (1) with a protection unit (40) for protecting a part of the hob trough (1) from heat radiation and/or electromagnetic radiation and a holding device (30) for fastening the protection unit (40) to the hob trough (1), wherein the protection unit (40) can be inserted into the holding device (30) and is braced therein in the inserted state, wherein
the protection unit (40) has a protection unit adapter (41; 42) and the holding device (30) has a holding device adapter (31), wherein the protection unit adapter (41; 42) is a cut-out in the protection unit (40), and the holding device adapter (31) is a projection of the holding device (30) or the protection unit adapter (41; 42) is a projection of the protection unit (40), and the holding device adapter (31) is a cut-out in the holding device (30), wherein the protection unit (40) is manufactured as a metal sheet with two limbs, which are connected to one another in an angled form and at least one protection unit adapter (41, 42) is arranged on each of the limbs, wherein
the protection unit adapter (40) can be inserted and clipped into the holding device adapter (31). - Hob trough (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the protection unit adapter (41; 42) has a plate (46) and a lug (45) which projects from the plate (46).
- Hob trough according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the protection unit (40) has at least three protection unit adapters (41; 42) and the holding device (30) has at least three holding device adapters (31).
- Hob trough (1) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the hob trough (1) has an electric component (20), which is protected against heat radiation and/or electromagnetic radiation by means of the inserted protection unit (40).
- Hob trough (1) according to claim 4, characterised in that the electric component (20) is an ignition apparatus.
- Hob trough according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that an air cushion is embodied between the protection unit (40) and the part of the hob trough (1) to be protected.
- Hob trough according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the protection unit (40) and/or the holding device (30) is/are manufactured from stainless steel sheet.
- Hob trough according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the protection unit (40) is inserted into the holding device (30).
