Definitions
- the invention relates to a cooking appliance for use in a section of a worktop.
- the invention also relates to methods for mounting two adjoining in a common section of a worktop cooking appliances, each of the cooking appliances having a circumferential side wall with four wall sections.
- a typical cooking appliance intended for use in a cutout of a worktop e.g. a hob
- a box-shaped housing are housed in the functional elements of the hob, with a laterally projecting edge extends at its top.
- the box-shaped housing is lowered into the cutout and rests with the edge on the worktop.
- To attach the cooking appliance this is usually attached from below to the worktop, e.g. by screw connections.
- the assembly, especially from below, is complex and time consuming. Often a good support and a good positioning of the cooking devices can not be guaranteed. Also, a thickness of the worktop can pose a problem.
- a system comprising a plurality of cooking devices which can be inserted side by side into a cutout of a worktop, the cooking appliance having a circumferential side wall with four wall sections and each of the wall sections having on its outside at least two elastically deformable compression elements.
- Adjacent wall sections may be angled towards each other, for example be angled perpendicular to each other in a rectangular side wall.
- the wall sections can be straight, but they do not need it.
- the wall sections correspond, for example, to a front side, a rear side, a left side and a right side of the side wall.
- the cooking appliance can be held on all sides in a press fit in the worktop when it is inserted into the cutout of the worktop by compression of the compression elements.
- the attachment can be achieved by simply inserting or pressing the cooking appliance in the worktop without tools.
- the cooking appliance is self-aligning due to the tendency of the compression elements to uniformly deform. Since only a frictional connection and no positive connection between the cooking appliance and the worktop results, the cooking appliance can be removed by simply pushing out of the worktop again.
- the thickness of the worktop is not a problem because the attachment is made on an edge of the cutout.
- the cooking appliance may in particular be a hob, z.
- a gas hob a radiant heater or induction heating.
- the use of at least two compression elements per wall section has the advantage that a final positioning of the cooking device is based on at least two points and corresponding compression elements on each side and so unevenness or other local defects of the cut can be compensated.
- the more compression elements are present on a wall section the more the local defects of the section, e.g. can be corrected by blending.
- the at least two compression elements can in particular be arranged equidistantly in front of one another in a row along the wall section.
- the at least one compression element is in the form of a bent spring element.
- the elastic compression is effected by compressing the compression element.
- the use of a bent spring element has the advantage that it is compact and easy to manufacture and, moreover, it can be inserted into the worktop essentially without damage or a jamming affecting its function.
- the bent spring element can in particular be designed as a curved lamella.
- the at least one compression element is not limited thereto, but may be e.g. as a differently constructed, in particular metallic, spring element or as a compact elastic volume, e.g. made of rubber.
- the at least one compression element is in the form of a V-shaped or U-shaped bent spring element.
- a spring element is particularly easy to manufacture and precisely adjustable with respect to its spring force and its travel.
- a closed side of the at least one bent spring element points downwards.
- damage or jamming can be excluded particularly reliably, and when using the cooking appliance, the compression elements need not be further treated, e.g. previously compressed.
- the compression elements need not be further treated, e.g. previously compressed.
- e.g. also show an open side of the at least one bent spring element down, which facilitates removal of the cooking appliance.
- the compression elements which lie on the side facing away from the respective abutting edge, mean that the two cooking appliances can easily be brought into contact without a gap.
- the system further comprises at least one intermediate wall which is arranged between two cooking appliances as described above, wherein the intermediate wall has at least one recess for introducing adjacent compression elements having two cooking appliances.
- the intermediate wall can have at least one cutout on each side directed toward one of the cooking devices, so that the at least one compression element of the wall section of the respective cooking appliance directed toward the intermediate wall can dip into the at least one cutout.
- the two cooking appliances can be precisely aligned with each other in a simple manner, in particular connect flush.
- the width and the distance of the compression elements and associated recesses can be chosen arbitrarily.
- the at least one recess and the associated at least one compression element are so pronounced that substantially no adhesion occurs between them.
- the compression elements of opposite wall sections of the at least two adjacently arranged cooking appliances are intermeshable. This can be dispensed with an intermediate wall. Adjacent compression elements may in particular have a distance corresponding to their width. The compression elements of the adjacent cooking appliances are suitably staggered, e.g. for a half-period.
- Fig.1 shows a sectional view in side view of an inserted into a section C of a worktop A cooking appliance in the form of a hob 1.
- the detail C is substantially rectangular in plan view.
- the hob 1 here has a box-shaped housing 2, are housed in the functional elements of the hob 1, in particular on the top side of the cooking zones.
- On its upper side O an edge 3 extends projecting laterally.
- the housing 2 in plan view has substantially the same shape as the cutout C, but is smaller.
- the edge 3 extends laterally beyond the cutout C away from the worktop A.
- the worktop A can thus be inserted from above into the cutout C and rests with the edge 3 on the worktop A.
- a plurality of elastically deformable compression elements 6 are arranged on an outer side 4 of the circumferential side wall 5 of the housing 2 in each case. More specifically, at each of the straight wall portions (front 7, back, left side 8 and right side 9), more of the compression elements 6 are respectively provided. In the inserted state shown, each of the compression elements 6 presses against the worktop A so that it is held by the weight of force and by the sum of the pressing forces of the compression elements 6. The compression forces also help with an all-round positioning of the hob 1, as a closer approach to the worktop A causes a higher compression force and the hob 1 is pushed locally stronger from the worktop A. Also, local unevenness of the section C is leveled by the many (e.g., six or more) compression elements 6 in force viewing.
- the compression elements 6, as well as in oblique view in Figure 3 shown designed as substantially V-shaped curved spring elements (lamellae), the closed side facing down (upwards 'V').
- the compression elements 6 of a wall section 7, 8, 9 are integrally attached to a common bar 10. To attach the compression elements 6 so only one bar 10 on each of the wall sections 7, 8, 9 needs to be seconded. This can be done with little effort and high precision.
- the compression elements 6 When inserting the hob 1 in the cutout C, the compression elements 6 are automatically compressed and can not get caught. To remove the hob 1 this needs to be pressed against his weight and the pressure of the compression elements 6 upwards.
- Figure 4 shows a sectional view in side view two adjacent in a cutout C2 of a worktop A used hobs 1, 11th
- Figure 5 shows a sectional view along a surface of the worktop A in plan view, the hobs 1, 11 used in the worktop A, the two hobs 1, 11 abut with their adjacent edge portions each other.
- the compression elements 6 are laterally shorter than the edge 3 and thus do not overlap.
- an intermediate wall 12 is disposed between the two hobs 1, 11, in which the opposite compression elements 6 of the two hobs 1, 11 can dip.
- the intermediate wall 12 configured, for example, as a profile with an inverted 'U'-shaped cross-section.
- matching recesses 13 are introduced on each side to the compression elements 6, in which the compression elements 6 in particular can dive freely. If the cooktops 1, 11 offset from each other along the edges 3, the compression elements 6 at least one of the hobs 1, 11 can not dip, which can be remedied by a repositioning of the hob 1, 11 by a service technician.
- the immersed in the intermediate wall 12 compression elements 6 are in positive engagement with the recesses 13 and prevent dislocation.
- the hob 1 can be inserted into the worktop A, then the intermediate wall 12 are used so that the respective compression elements 6 of the hob 1 dip into the recesses 13. Then, the hob 11 is inserted so that the corresponding compression elements 6 in the then present on the other side of the intermediate wall 12 recesses 13 dip.
- This provides a particularly simple adjustment option.
- Figure 7 shows a sectional view in side view also two adjacent inserted into the worktop A hobs 1 and 11th
- Figure 8 shows a sectional view along a surface of the worktop A in plan view, the hobs 1, 11 inserted into the worktop A.
- Figure 7 In contrast to Fig.4 to Fig.6
- the compression elements 6 now extend laterally beyond the edge 3.
- the compression elements 6 in the event that they are present as curved spring elements, be correspondingly large and / or bent far outward.
- opposing compression elements can be meshed with one another when the associated hobs 1, 11 are attached adjacent one another.
- adjacent compression elements 6 may be widely spaced from each other by an amount corresponding to their width.
- the compression elements 6 and here also the strips 10 should be offset by a half-period to each other.
- the compression elements 6 of the left-hand wall section 8 of the right-hand hob 11 may be offset by one half-period from the compression elements 6 of the right-hand side 9 of the left-hand hob 1. So can be dispensed with an intermediate wall.

Description
The invention relates to a cooking appliance for use in a section of a worktop. The invention also relates to methods for mounting two adjoining in a common section of a worktop cooking appliances, each of the cooking appliances having a circumferential side wall with four wall sections.
A typical cooking appliance intended for use in a cutout of a worktop, e.g. a hob, has a box-shaped housing, are housed in the functional elements of the hob, with a laterally projecting edge extends at its top. The box-shaped housing is lowered into the cutout and rests with the edge on the worktop. To attach the cooking appliance this is usually attached from below to the worktop, e.g. by screw connections. The assembly, especially from below, is complex and time consuming. Often a good support and a good positioning of the cooking devices can not be guaranteed. Also, a thickness of the worktop can pose a problem.
It is the object of the present invention to at least partially overcome the disadvantages of the prior art, and in particular to provide a way of attaching a cooking appliance in a worktop, which is particularly simple in design and use.
This object is achieved according to the features of the independent claims. Preferred embodiments are in particular the dependent claims.
The object is achieved by a system comprising a plurality of cooking devices which can be inserted side by side into a cutout of a worktop, the cooking appliance having a circumferential side wall with four wall sections and each of the wall sections having on its outside at least two elastically deformable compression elements. Adjacent wall sections may be angled towards each other, for example be angled perpendicular to each other in a rectangular side wall. The wall sections can be straight, but they do not need it. In the case of a rectangular side wall, the wall sections correspond, for example, to a front side, a rear side, a left side and a right side of the side wall.
By means of the at least one elastically deformable compression element, the cooking appliance can be held on all sides in a press fit in the worktop when it is inserted into the cutout of the worktop by compression of the compression elements. The attachment can be achieved by simply inserting or pressing the cooking appliance in the worktop without tools. The cooking appliance is self-aligning due to the tendency of the compression elements to uniformly deform. Since only a frictional connection and no positive connection between the cooking appliance and the worktop results, the cooking appliance can be removed by simply pushing out of the worktop again. The thickness of the worktop is not a problem because the attachment is made on an edge of the cutout.
The cooking appliance may in particular be a hob, z. As a gas hob, a radiant heater or induction heating.
The use of at least two compression elements per wall section has the advantage that a final positioning of the cooking device is based on at least two points and corresponding compression elements on each side and so unevenness or other local defects of the cut can be compensated. The more compression elements are present on a wall section, the more the local defects of the section, e.g. can be corrected by blending.
The at least two compression elements can in particular be arranged equidistantly in front of one another in a row along the wall section.
It is also an embodiment that the at least one compression element is in the form of a bent spring element. The elastic compression is effected by compressing the compression element. The use of a bent spring element has the advantage that it is compact and easy to manufacture and, moreover, it can be inserted into the worktop essentially without damage or a jamming affecting its function. The bent spring element can in particular be designed as a curved lamella. However, the at least one compression element is not limited thereto, but may be e.g. as a differently constructed, in particular metallic, spring element or as a compact elastic volume, e.g. made of rubber.
It is a particular embodiment that the at least one compression element is in the form of a V-shaped or U-shaped bent spring element. Such a spring element is particularly easy to manufacture and precisely adjustable with respect to its spring force and its travel.
In particular, it is an embodiment that a closed side of the at least one bent spring element points downwards. Thus, damage or jamming can be excluded particularly reliably, and when using the cooking appliance, the compression elements need not be further treated, e.g. previously compressed. Alternatively, however, e.g. also show an open side of the at least one bent spring element down, which facilitates removal of the cooking appliance.
In these two adjacent cooking appliances, the compression elements, which lie on the side facing away from the respective abutting edge, mean that the two cooking appliances can easily be brought into contact without a gap.
According to an alternative of the present invention, the system further comprises at least one intermediate wall which is arranged between two cooking appliances as described above, wherein the intermediate wall has at least one recess for introducing adjacent compression elements having two cooking appliances. In other words, the intermediate wall can have at least one cutout on each side directed toward one of the cooking devices, so that the at least one compression element of the wall section of the respective cooking appliance directed toward the intermediate wall can dip into the at least one cutout. As a result, the two cooking appliances can be precisely aligned with each other in a simple manner, in particular connect flush. The width and the distance of the compression elements and associated recesses can be chosen arbitrarily.
It is still a development that the at least one recess and the associated at least one compression element are so pronounced that substantially no adhesion occurs between them.
According to a further alternative of the present invention, the compression elements of opposite wall sections of the at least two adjacently arranged cooking appliances are intermeshable. This can be dispensed with an intermediate wall. Adjacent compression elements may in particular have a distance corresponding to their width. The compression elements of the adjacent cooking appliances are suitably staggered, e.g. for a half-period.
- Einsetzen eines ersten der zwei Gargeräte in den Ausschnitt;
- Inserting a first of the two cooking appliances into the cutout;
- Arranging an intermediate wall on a free side of the first cooking appliance so that adjacent to the intermediate wall compression elements of the first cooking appliance dive into a first group of recesses of the intermediate wall; and
- Inserting a second of the two cooking appliances in the cutout so that adjacent to the intermediate wall compression elements of the second cooking appliance dive into a second group of recesses of the intermediate wall.
- Einsetzen eines ersten der zwei Gargeräte in den Ausschnitt;
- Inserting a first of the two cooking appliances into the cutout;
- Inserting a second of the two cooking appliances adjacent to the first cooking appliance in the cutout so that opposing compression elements of the two cooking appliances meshed with each other.

For an attachment of the

When inserting the
