With those dense weaving structures, there are more intercrossing of the weft 103 on the warp at the side edge, shorter warp floats, and more weft exposed over the spandex-covered warp at the edge. Those are factors contributing to the feel of coarse, scratching, irritating on the skin.

- the soft edged strap of the present invention is produced in a single integral weaving process without requiring any follow-up procedures and thus can be manufactured cost effectively. Therefore, the underwear equipped with the strap of the present invention is smoother, more comfortable, and can meet the users' requirement for comfortableness, particularly for female users.
Claims (4)
- Gewebeband zur Verwendung in Unterwäsche, enthaltend einen Hauptteil und zwei längslaufende Seitenkanten, von denen mindestens eine eine weiche längslaufende Seitenkante ist, wobei die zwei längslaufenden Seitenkanten und der Hauptteil in einem Stück in einem einzelnen Webprozess gewebt sind, wobei der Hauptteil umwundene Spandex-Kettfäden enthält, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kettfäden der weichen längslaufenden Seitenkante aus umwundenen Spandex-Kettfäden (105) bestehen, welche dünner sind als jeder der umwundenen Spandex-Kettfäden (101) im Hauptteil, zwecks der Erzeugung eines Weichheitseffekts, und dadurch dass die umwundenen Spandex-Kettfäden (105) in der weichen längslaufenden Seitenkante Spandex-Filamente sind, die mit anderen Garnen durch ein Z-Twist- oder S-Twist-Verfahren umwunden sind.
- Gewebeband gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dicke der umwundene Spandex-Kettfäden (105) in der weichen längslaufenden Seitenkante im Bereich zwischen 11 dtex und 310 dtex liegt.
- Gewebeband gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Vielzahl von Schussfäden (103) nicht auf dem Kettfaden (105) an der längslaufende Seitenkante liegt sondern durch den Kettfaden (105) in der längslaufende Seitenkante abgedeckt wird zur Erzeugung des Weichheitseffekts.
- Gewebeband gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beide längslaufende Seiten weiche Kanten sind, welche aus dünneren umwundenen Spandex-Kettfäden (105) bestehen als solche (101) im Hauptteil, und an jeder der längslaufenden Seitenkanten eine Mehrzahl der Schussfäden (103) nicht auf dem Kettfaden (105) liegt sondern durch diesen bedeckt wird.
