Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur automatischen Erfassung des Ventilhubs eines Leimventils (10) und ein Verfahren zur automatischen Erkennung von Störungen eines im Betrieb befindlichen Leimventils (10), insbesondere eines Leimventils (10) einer im Betrieb befindlichen Vorrichtung zur Herstellung und/oder Verpackung von Zigaretten oder anderen rauchbaren Gegenständen, bei dem Ist-Werte der Temperatur des Leimventils (10) oder Ist-Werte einer Messgröße, aus der die Ist-Temperaturwerte des Leimventils (10) abgeleitet werden können, mehrfach ermittelt und im Hinblick auf eine Störung des Leimventils (10) ausgewertet werden, bevorzugt indem die ermittelten Ist-Werte mit entsprechenden, für das Leimventil (10) hinterlegten Sollwerten oder Grenzwerten verglichen werden oder mit entsprechenden Ist-Werten mindestens eines anderen im Betrieb befindlichen Leimventils (10).
